Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7 has met the expectations of consumers, but enthusiastic mobile phone users looking forward to enjoying the new mobile with the Windows Mobile 7 operating system will have to put their expectations on hold until late 2010.

Moreover, Microsoft’s software giant UK head of mobility, Phil Moore, has said that the company will not launch latest Windows Mobile until the latter part of 2010.

However, Moore also said that the near release will as well allow Microsoft to give the enterprise users and general Windows mobile users exactly what they want, which will include focus in adaptability of the touch base User Interface.

Microsoft’s verdict to delay the release of Windows Mobile 7 is perhaps not especially given that platform stopgap Windows Mobile 6.5 was launched to fill the gap when the seventh version of the mobile operating package missed its initial 2009 completion target.

However, great commitments related to a product release after 12 months are unlikely to help Microsoft’s position in the global Smartphone market.

With 46 percent of the market, the Nokia’s Symbian is at the top of the pile. The BlackBerry is with 21 percent, and Apple’s iPhone operating system is with 18 percent, and the Google’s Android managed to secure 3.5 percent of the market.

It's been nearly three years, since we first learned of Windows Mobile 7; in that time, the OS having flipped, flopped and morphed to the point that what has arrived today in 2010 bears little to no resemblance to what was envisioned in early 2008.

And that's a good thing.

As the smartphone OS the world has advanced in recent years, Microsoft needed to start fresh, to re-think what a Microsoft mobile OS should be. And that's what they've done.

Some free ones include obviously some games but also AOL Radio, Paypal, Weatherbug, Google Mobile App, a cool golf application called iyardage, and many more! Apple is now concentrating on its 4th coming iPhone and its technology and they are doing best to make iPhone 4 different and effective then ever. So people have to wait a little longer than expected because Apple has once again delayed the release of the White iPhone 4, which CEO Steve Jobs said just last week would be available later this month.
White models of new Apple iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year," Apple said in a brief news release Friday morning.
No particular release date of iPhone 4 was announced.
According to the report, the company is having trouble developing a shade of paint that reflects the look Apple wants. People has already seen the Leaked iPhone 4 photos.
Despite the glitch, whatever the cause, the iPhone 4 set Apple sales records after its release June 24, drawing positive reviews. This comes despite "Antennagate," the name given to the fury over the phone's reception problems, which Apple addressed in a hastily called news conference earlier this month.
The Smartphone has sold more than 3 million units and has been the most successful product launch in Apple history.

It’s official; Apple has announced that it is going to be holding one of its famous events this upcoming Wednesday. The slogan? “Come see our latest creation”. Now, this is getting me pretty excited! Obviously, Apple is going to be bringing out something big, and here are a few things that I would like to see from them.

An Apple Tablet

Over the past year, we have seen several major computer manufacturers enter into the netbook market, such as Acer, Dell, and HP. However, to the surprise of many, Apple hasn’t mentioned anything abut their interests in this emerging market. However, rumors are going around that Apple might create a tablet computer (iTablet?) to compete with netbooks. Here’s what I would like it to have (if released).

OLED Display: the new, efficient, cost effective OLED display has started to become the norm for many pocket devices– such as phones and media players; and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Apple Tablet included one. Size? Probably somewhere between 8 to 13 inches.
3G Connectivity: Like most netbooks, the Apple tablet could have 3G connectivity built in, and would probably be tied into a contract with a major cell network.
Media Card Reader: Pretty much everybody carries around a digital camera when their traveling nowadays, so it would seem foolish not to include a built-in media card reader, to make downloading pictures a snap on the go.

Over the past 3 years, the iPhone and iPod Touch has stayed basically the same. The only real major changes have been software changes. But now, I think it is time for a complete redesign. Here’s what I want.

Video chat: iChat is a great program for the Mac if you want to get in contact with friends or loved ones, but wouldn’t it be nice to have the same great video conferencing anywhere? That’s where the iPhone 4G comes in! It could include a secondary camera on the front of the system, then you could just point it at yourself and start chatting with your friends!
OLED Screen: Just like Microsoft’s new Zune HD, the new iPhone and iPod Touches could include OLED screens to raise the battery lives and lower the price!
Larger Capacities: If you have a massive media library, chances are that you’ll want an iPod Classic. With it’s massive 120 GB hard drive, It can house pretty much anything that you can throw at it. But what if you have a massive music collection and still want to experience all the iPod Touch has to offer? The Touch already boasts the large size of 64 GB, but the 4G would house an even bigger 180 GB solid-state hard drive. Able to store over 100,000 songs and countless hours of video– not to mention all the applications you can put on it.

If you want battery life, storage and overall simplicity in your iPod, then the current 7th generation iPod Classic is for you. However, I have a few ideas on how to make it even better.

E-ink display: Chances are that you might have heard about the Amazon Kindle– and e-book reader that uses a new technology called an e-ink display to give it an amazing battery life of over 2 weeks. That’s 2 weeks with the screen turned on, folks. How does it do it? The trick is that the simple, black and white display only uses power while the objects on the screen are moving. So, if this was included on the iPod Classic, then you could get amazing battery life out of it! At least 48 hours of nonstop music!
Massive Hard Drive: Of course, 48 hours of music would be rather small compared to the storage capacity of over 200,000 songs on its massive 360 GB solid state drive. Enough to hold months worth of music, thousands of pictures, and hundreds of hours of video.

Apple iPhone 4 in China

China Unicom, China's second-largest telecommunications operator, may start selling Apple Inc's iPhone 4 in the mainland market in September, state television reported on Thursday.
"China Unicom has reached an agreement with Apple, and the iPhone 4 may enter the mainland market by as early as next month," the report said, citing a company statement released to the ongoing China Internet Conference in Beijing.
China Unicom officials in Beijing and Hong Kong declined to comment. Apple could not immediately be reach for comment.
"The rumor has been out for the last couple of days. It is something positive for China Unicom but not very significant as I think most subscribers find the price of the iPhone too high," said Victor Yip, a Hong-Kong based analyst with UOB Kay Hian.
Various news media have reported this week that China Unicom may become Apple's vendor for its popular iPad and iPhone 4 products. The reports have been unconfirmed by the company.
China Unicom, the sole telecom distributor of Apple's iPhone, has seen slow sales for the popular handset because of high subscription fees and stiff competition from lower priced Android handsets.
China Mobile Ltd, the country's largest provider, has also expressed interest in bringing in Apple's iPhone and iPad products.
Apple opened its second flagship store in China last month and is on track to have 25 retail outlets in the country by the end of next year. Apple executives said in April that they saw the Chinese market as a major growth opportunity.
