Epic is putting its Fortnite bets on a Persona collab, alongside teasing many more Disney crossovers.

It's no secret that Fortnite collaborations have been a little hit and miss in the past. From the wildly unpopular AI brainrot skin, to the smash-hit Simpsons cosmetics, it's hard to tell what direction Epic is going in with these crossovers - but recent news from the ground seems to suggest that Fortnite is aiming high. In case you missed it, Persona is officially coming to Fortnite next season, with a trailer of Joker from P5 doing the rounds. Not only that, but more Disney collaborations seem to be on the way, too. In a recent video posted to the official The Walt Disney Company YouTube channel, Disney exec Sean Shoptaw talks about how Fortnite has become "one of the most important social entertainment platforms in the world", stressing the importance of Disney expanding its involvement with the game to bring more characters and stories to players. He points out that, as younger generations in particular are more involved in Fortnite, it's a great way to ensure that Disney IPs continue to be profitable and successful. This means we're likely to see the continuation of the partnership between the two, and hopefully on an accelerated timeline. We've had nearly every Marvel character under the sun joining the universe, and with the recent re-appearance of Spider-Man to celebrate Brand New Day's release, the game continues to be a superhero fest. That's why I want to see more characters from old and beloved movies join the Fortnite Ratatouille and Fortnite Toy Story collabs, including other Disney Pixar characters. Finding Nemo would be a lot of fun, I would love to see Wall-E become a sidekick, and of course, it'd be great if that long-rumored collab with Monsters Inc. materialized. Plus, the Disney Princesses would all kick ass. Naturally.

Valve’s handheld currently requires workarounds to run the Epic Games Store, but perhaps not for long.

While the Steam Deck might be the most popular handheld gaming PC on the market, it's by no means perfect. One of the biggest issues with the Valve handheld is that it doesn't play ball with the Epic Games Store because it runs Linux, an incompatible operating system. However, it looks like a solution could be on its way. During an AMA on the Epic Games Store Discord server, an Epic Games representative confirmed a Linux version of the Epic Games Store coming "soon." Before you get your hopes up, though, the same Epic staff member followed up by tempering expectations, noting that there won't be a Linux build for the upcoming Epic Games Store redesign preview, as it requires more work. We also didn't get any indication of when "soon" might be, but at least we now know that it's in the works. As we mentioned earlier, it is currently possible to run the Epic Games Store on the Steam Deck, but it requires use of third-party software rather than anything official from Epic Games or Valve. That's alright for die-hard Fortnite fans, but for casual gamers who just want to play without tinkering with their settings and unfamiliar apps, it can be off-putting. Currently, the incompatibility of SteamOS and the Epic Games Store is one of the few advantages of some of the Windows-based picks from our guide to the best Steam Deck alternatives, including the Lenovo Legion Go and Asus ROG Ally.

Despite rising prices, some are suggesting Apple is equipping the iPhone 18 with more RAM than the previous model.

We're getting into that part of the year again, folks, with rumors, speculation, and supposed leaks surrounding the upcoming iPhone 18 popping up almost constantly. The latest industry whisper could be exactly what fans of gaming and Apple's AI features want, though, with the suggestion that the iPhone 18 could pack 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB. This new rumor is courtesy of analyst Jeff Pu, via 9to5Mac, who has a pretty solid track record when it comes to reporting on Apple products. Pu posits that not only is the iPhone 18 getting a jump from 8GB to 12GB of RAM, but the iPhone 18e is also getting a similar boost, though not quite as dramatic, from 8GB to 9GB. Given how instrumental RAM is in gaming performance, this upgrade should make it possible to run the best iPhone games, such as Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile, with higher settings than before. The only caveat to this new information is that Pu also believes that we won't be seeing the iPhone 18 and 18e for a while yet. A few industry sources have suggested that, for the first time, Apple is launching its Pro-series devices, including the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, in September, with the base model to follow in early 2027, alongside the cheaper iPhone 18e.

WG needs a tabletop nerd with a passion for Warhammer, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering.

For six years, Network N Media's Alex Evans has steered the Wargamer ship, taking the site from strength to strength, but he's off to pastures new, meaning our pals at WG need a new captain. Wargamer is seeking a seasoned journalist to become its new editor, so if you have an unhealthy love for TCGs like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon (who doesn't), and a penchant for tabletop games, you're exactly who the site is looking for to lead it into the next era as Wargamer expands even further as a website, along with its Discord and video presence. Wargamer has been the go-to place for tabletop gaming since January 2021, with an excellent team of staff who are as passionate as they are talented. Every day, they cover everything important in the world of tabletop, from board games to trading card games. Beyond the aforementioned Pokemon and MTG, they work hard to bring the world all of the latest news in the world of Warhammer, a franchise so convoluted that it has us resembling the meme of a woman with maths symbols floating around her head. Over the last five and a half years, Wargamer has grown exponentially, with the team doubling in size and its views quadrupling. However, not only does the team type away about DnD and the like, but they also talk about it in videos, a vertical that's proving to be both popular and exciting. On top of that, the team fosters a free Discord server with more than 5k members - that's a lot of nerds in one place, and we're here for it.

Nintendo’s latest tactical treat goes beyond even the scope of Three Houses and feels like it could be the most complete Fire Emblem game to date.

This is it, folks. This is the one I've been waiting for. Forget the next 3D Mario platformer or even Pokémon Winds and Waves; since its big reveal last September, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has been right at the top of my list of hotly anticipated games. Well, fortunately for me, I'm Pocket Tactics' resident tactical fan, our very own war monger, which meant that when Nintendo offered us a chance to get our hands on the game ahead of its launch, I was enlisted and sent into battle. Spoiler: I'm having a wonderful time. First, though, a little housekeeping. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is the 18th game in the series, following Fire Emblem Engage back in 2023. It feels, though, more like a sequel to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, seen by many as one of the best games from the franchise to date. I should be clear right from the beginning that I am part of that many, and for me, Three Houses is right in the upper echelons of the best Switch games. Now, that's your context, so let's dig right in. If you've seen the Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Nintendo Direct presentation, you'll already know that this game features five main characters. There's Leda, Theodora, Cai, and Dietrich, four contestants in the Heroic Games, and Eshmel, the true protagonist through whom you experience the narratives of the other four. Does that sound confusing? Maybe a touch convoluted? Well, it is, but not in a bad way - more in a sort of slowly unraveling way, almost like a mystery box series such as Lost or Severance.

Chances are, you're getting stuck into Genshin Impact's latest update, where Travelers finally get to set foot in the icy world of Snezhnaya. While exploration is generally a great time, and there's plenty of new quests to do, there's one thing that's getting us annoyed. Those darn Dark Souls and Death Stranding-like messages that other players can leave on the ground. They're everywhere. They say anything from helpful hints to greetings to telling you to jump off bridges. The messages are getting to be a lot. Like, way too much. And we're only a couple of days into the Genshin Impact update. The messages are part of a new gadget's functionality. The Eye of Graeae, something you get as part of the main quest, can do many things. Getting you on the train, placing constructs made of ice, helps you survive the freezing temps... and lets you place two different kinds of signs on the floor. While a few of them are fun, there are just too darn many already.

Some good games are coming.

The inaugural Kinetic Publishing Showcase sure was something, huh? Since the announcement of the publishing label back in January, I've been keen to see what games it'd be working on, given it comes from the creator of Phasmophobia, an iconic horror game that you've no doubt heard of. However, as you now know, it's not just horror games that Kinteic Publishing has an interest in, with a couple of today's games being part of the cozy genre - a category of adventures I'm finding more and more appreciation for in 2026. You might be wondering about the diverse portfolio, and there's a simple explanation. I was lucky enough to attend an early preview of the showcase earlier this week and had the opportunity to be part of a Q&A, during which Kinetic Publishing Director of Marketing and Partnerships Asim Tanvir explained that the company cares about "great games by passionate people." Well, it's clear to see that there's passion in all five projects, so let's take a quick look at each game and what they offer. Oh, and don't expect to play any of these anytime soon, with them all releasing in either 2027 or 2028.

I tested out the latest Bandori game, BanG Dream! Our Notes, during its closed beta period, and now I can’t wait for its release.

The next chapter of the Bandori story is unfolding, as the BanG Dream! Our Notes closed beta test just concluded. I was lucky enough to get in and test the game out, and I'm so glad that I did, because this might just be my most anticipated mobile game of 2026. The BanG Dream! project, otherwise known as Bandori, has been around since 2015, with its first mobile game, Girls Band Party, launching in 2017 to great success. As a fan of idol culture, anime, and rhythm games, Bandori has always appealed to me, but it felt too late to jump in. I hoped that Our Notes would provide an opportunity for new fans like myself to get involved with Bandori, and based on my experience with the closed beta, it does exactly that. Instead of continuing the stories of the Girls Band Party groups, Our Notes focuses on five lesser-known bands from the franchise. Ave Mujica and MyGO!!!!! are the most well-known, with their own anime seasons and the latter's inclusion in Girls Band Party. Then we have Mugendai MewType, who also have an anime but are less prolific as they don't do live performances. Finally, Our Notes introduces two brand-new bands to the franchise: millsage and Ikka Dumb Rock!

Grab your nets and oxygen tanks, because Dave the Diver is finally launching on mobile. Developer Mintrocket initially announced this port at the end of 2025 as a project with partner company XD, and this fall release date remains true to its promise of a 2026 release. If you've somehow missed the hype around this game over the past three years, Dave the Diver is a multi-award-winning hybrid RPG, management, simulation, and fishing game about diving for fish and making delicious sushi. This mobile port is the final step in making Dave's adventure playable on all platforms, following Mintrocket's recent Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade pack and Xbox releases. Dave the Diver's mobile version is fully optimized for smartphones, adding a range of new features, including fast travel and gyro controls. Plus, the mobile game has access to the recent DLC, In The Jungle, and the popular Dredge content pack from launch, so there are plenty of storylines to explore right from the beginning.

In the last month or so, we've seen the reveal of the Konkr Pocket Advance, a new Android-based GBA clone from Ayaneo. It turns out we hadn't seen the full line-up of options until now, though, with the introduction of a limited-edition model that's even more similar to its Nintendo handheld inspirations. Yes, it's translucent! The new color option, Onyx Ice, is a true throwback to the heyday of the Game Boy Advance, which remains one of the best retro handhelds of all time in our opinion. The original GBA was famous for having translucent color options, such as the Glacier colorway I had as a kid, but this black version looks more like the Japan-exclusive King of Fighters special edition model from 2002. The reveal of the new limited-edition Onyx Ice version comes with some caveats, though. For a start, it's slightly more expensive, with pre-orders starting at $109 for the 3GB+32GB version or $129 for the 4GB+64GB version. Not only that, but this model is limited to 500 units outside of China, and shipping kicks off in October rather than this month. The introduction of this model also comes just days after Ayaneo added a Peach variant, which, in reality, looks more like a pink colorway to the Pocket Advance line-up.

Beginning August 12 - the same day Genshin Impact's update goes live - until September 22, 2026, you can get some cool in-game rewards to help you settle into Snezhnaya, thanks to your Crunchyroll membership. For the first time, you can get the Neo Terminal: Floating Leaf Model gadget in-game in the US, and have it float around after you as you explore the frosty landscapes. Previously, it was available as a reward from Genshin's collabs with KFC in China and Japan, FamilyMart in Taiwan, and Mom's Touch in South Korea, but now Crunchyroll brings it to North America, Canada, and some Latin American territories.

For just over a year now, Valve has been updating its SteamOS software, the operating system preloaded on the Steam Deck, to make it compatible with more handhelds. Well, the latest SteamOS beta continues this rollout, bringing improved support for MSI and OneXPlayer handhelds, as well as initial gamepad support for the Konkr FIT and the Ayaneo Pocket S2. This is a pretty big deal for anyone with an MSI or a OneXPlayer device, as SteamOS is widely considered a superior operating system compared to the Windows equivalent. Not only is Valve's software easier to use, but tests comparing the two while using some of the top picks from our guide to the best handheld gaming consoles, including the ROG Xbox Ally X and Lenovo Legion Go, suggest that SteamOS also offers performance benefits compared to Microsoft's pre-installed software. It's also of note that the new SteamOS beta update introduces controller support for some Android devices, including the Konkr FIT and Ayaneo Pocket S2 we mentioned earlier. So far, we've only seen Valve bring its operating system to handheld PCs, but, and this is purely speculation at the time of writing, this could be a sign that SteamOS could be an option for ARM-powered Android handhelds before long.

In 2024, the entire Pocket Tactics team fell in love with Little Kitty, Big City, with the adorable feline strongly resembling our very own Xiao. Now, in great news for cat lovers everywhere, Double Daggr Studio is bringing the adorable adventure to the small screen, with a mobile launch for both iOS and Android. Without question, Little Kitty, Big City was one of the best Switch games in 2024, and this port means it'll likely be one of the best mobile games this year, with it due to release in late 2026. Better still, the game offers a try-before-you-buy initiative, letting those of you unfamiliar with it get a feel for what it's about before you commit. In a move we always think is a winner, it's then just a one-time purchase to access the full game - don't you just love knowing you don't need to worry about microtransactions jumping at you every five seconds? There's even something on offer for returning players, as, beyond experiencing the adorable adventure again, there are mobile-exclusive augmented reality features, allowing you to bring your favorite feline into your world. Just think, you can put the cat in your favorite snazzy outfits, then summon them next to your actual pets. That sounds delightful if you ask me.

Between the brilliant Bubbly Basin DLC and the new 2.0 update, Pokémon Pokopia continues to swim laps around its competitors.

Despite releasing so early in 2026, Pokémon Pokopia quickly became a solid contender for my game of the year. It still remains high on my list, even after we've seen so many top-tier releases. The past few months have thrown quite a few challenges and trials at me, and I've not had much time to play, but I always looked forward to heading back to this cozy, Pokémon-packed sandbox as soon as life settled down again. Well, things haven't quite settled down yet, but the Pokopia Bubbly Basin DLC came along and pulled me back in anyway - and I'm so glad it did, as it turns out it's just what I needed. When I heard Pokopia was getting a DLC expansion pass with three waves of content, I knew I was going to be pretty easy to please. As long as they gave us more of what was already there - new areas, more 'mons, and additional cute items and materials to decorate with - it would be a recipe for even further success. However, I still find myself absolutely delighted with the sheer amount that Bubbly Basin brings to the table, and even more so with the free update that arrived alongside it. As you likely know, the base game features four main areas with their own questlines and stories, not including the expansive blank slate that is Palette Town. The Bubbly Basin DLC adds a new, aquatic location to this list that's primarily located underwater, where the remnants of a human town appear to have sunk below the surface.

We've all seen those horror movies, right? The ones where ominous people knock at the door, the foolish protagonist opens it, and you're left shouting at the TV, "They're going to kill you!" Well, now we all get to put our money where our mouths are on Roblox, and Keep the Door Locked codes certainly offer an advantage. While some of the people who knock at your hotel door clearly have some diabolical intentions, some are genuinely in need of help - can you tell the difference between them, or has evil laid claim to your room? Luckily, we can spot the signs so far.

The topic of 'best video game soundtrack' is always a hot debate, but have you noticed that the same few names come out on top, time and time again? And more specifically, most, if not all, of them are in the Nintendo Switch family's library. This isn't just our own conjecture - there's a thread on r/AskReddit where gamers are nominating their favorites, and the top choices feature those you may expect, with some other curveballs.

Asobi: Remote Play is a new app that enables streaming your favorite PlayStation games on Valve’s handheld gaming PC.

It seems like every week, there's a new app or some fresh software that makes the Steam Deck an even better option for handheld gaming. Now it's the turn of Asobi: Remote Play, a new app for Valve's handheld that supports not just remote play for PS4 and PS5 games, but also streaming PlayStation Plus Premium without the need for a PlayStation console. Better still, it's currently available to check out for free as part of the play test. For those who don't know, the PlayStation Portal is the current go-to for those looking to stream PlayStation games. However, compared to the picks from our guide to the best handheld consoles, including the Steam Deck, it doesn't have much to offer. Valve's handheld, on the other hand, is already a beast - though, a more expensive beast than it was this time last year - so Asobi: Remote Play is another string to its bow. The basic version supports 30fps streaming up to 1080p, with automatic bitrate adjustment dependent on your internet signal strength. You can check out the full details on the Steam listing, where you'll also find the option to request access to the play test. However, you'll need a PlayStation Network account and a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription for access to cloud functionality.

Ah, dinosaurs. How cool are they, eh? And Jurassic Park, what an epic franchise! While we all know that running a dino zoo can go a bit pear-shaped, it's sure fun to try your own hand at it, like in Jurassic World Evolution 2: Complete Edition. I tried it out on Nintendo Switch 2 to see how the port performs, and I'm in two minds. Jurassic Park (and World) is a favorite franchise of mine. I've seen the films, read the books, played the games, got the rare 1990s plush - you name it. So, when Jurassic World Evolution reared its head, I was excited. The first game got me stuck into it for hours and hours, as did the original release of 2 on PC.

What sets this game apart from the other sniper games is that oftentimes, you need to run away instead of fighting back. That being said, it'll be your turn to take down some unsuspecting runners soon enough, so you'll need your Snipers vs Runners codes to make sure you can do it in style. Codes are good for plenty of cash, which you can use to buy new melee, weapon, and effect cases. From time to time, you can also get free cases too, so you're never going to be without some swag to take down your enemies.

As Pokémon Go celebrates its 10th anniversary, I spoke to Jack Wilcock, head of EMEA marketing, about the exciting events and what’s next.

It's hard to believe that Pokémon Go has been a part of our lives for ten years now. I remember anxiously waiting for its launch back in my tiny hometown, just a couple of months before I was due to head off to university, unsure of its staying power. But now, as we just celebrated Pokémon Go's 10th anniversary, it feels like the future is still bright for Pokémon and Niantic's - now Scopely's - location-based mobile game. As part of the anniversary, I got to speak to Jack Wilcock, head of EMEA marketing for Pokémon Go, about the ongoing celebrations, specifically highlighting the United Kingdom's growing number of events. From last year's Pokémon Go Road Trip and EUIC's long tenure at the Excel Center in London, to this summer's collaborations with the National Trust, the game's physical presence in the UK has really ramped up. I asked Jack how it felt to be involved in this process. "I'm really proud to be a part of it," he said. "I remember living in London when Pokémon Go came out in 2016, and meeting up with friends in Regent's Park to catch Pokémon. For that to come full circle ten years later is very pleasing." London in particular is a growing hub for Pokémon Go activity, with 2026's Summer Quest event taking place in Shoreditch's Boxpark, the aforementioned EUIC tournament, and the city hosting a Go Fest back in 2023.

Longtime developer HandyGames, a subsidiary of THQ Nordic since 2018, is rebranding as THQ Nordic Mobile. As the name indicates, this publisher is all about bringing premium experiences to the small screen. Your favorite PC and console games could end up on mobile very soon. That's the whole point of this transition: there's a team whose sole purpose is to speed up the development of mobile ports. Of course, THQ Nordic is no stranger to seeing its games end up on the small screen, with SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom being a prime example of porting an adventure to the small screen. THQ Nordic Mobile will work to bring other games from the THQ Nordic portfolio to mobile. It's a move that's becoming increasingly popular among publishers and developers, with triple-A games like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, and Death Stranding all getting ports to the small screen.

If you're a fan of the iconic shooter DOOM, you won't want to miss this. The legendary franchise is coming back to life in the form of the new Evercade Nexus DOOM Edition, complete with a DOOM-themed Nexus handheld, a cartridge packed with classic games and maps, and a bunch of other collector's edition items. You'll have to act fast, though, as the run is limited to 3,000 units. For those who don't know, Evercade is a brand dedicated to physical gaming, with a massive catalogue of nostalgia-inducing games ported to Evercade cartridges and its own line of retro handhelds. The Nexus itself hasn't launched yet, but this version matches DOOM's unmistakable aesthetics, with metallic red buttons, grey thumbsticks, and a shell that recreates the iconic DOOM games' UI. I'm not even a massive DOOM fan, and this thing has me tempted. As for the new DOOM Collection cartridge, it comes with both DOOM and DOOM II, two absolutely groundbreaking FPS games, plus six map packs to keep the beast-slaying fun going and a collection of Deathmatch levels. Even if you've played the first two games before, these versions are worth revisiting for their unique modifiers, including Turbo Monsters, Double Monsters, Vampire Mode, and more. There are also a few new violence settings, so you can amp up the gore to your heart's delight.

As the builder of the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Genshin Impact's Kaveh is cautious and meticulous in his work both as an architect and on the battlefield. If you want to know more about him past his relationships and storyline, though, we've put together a guide on how to build him to get the best use out of his kit.
Call of Duty Mobile adds another epic franchise to its roster with Honkai Impact 3rd.

Well, we didn't really expect a Call of Duty Mobile x Honkai Impact 3rd collaboration, but here we are. Announced during Call of Duty Mobile's season 7 livestream, the partnership goes live later this year. Details are currently thin on the ground, but we know that the collab arrives in September 2026 and will likely feature skins of three classic characters. A short video on CODM's social media shows the Hyperion Bridge Elevator from HI3, and the Bilibili account posted a graphic showing three silhouettes of the characters likely coming to CODM. The three characters seem to include Kiana Kaslana, Bronya Zaychik, and Raiden Mei, appearing as what we assume to be skins for three CODM characters, Siren, Kestrel, and Rin Yoshida, respectively.

It's fair to say that Moonlight Peaks' Rei is the least dramatic of the mermaids in town, with her brother coming off as vain and her sister quite literally leaving a man at the altar. As such, you may want a friendship (or something more) with her, which is why we want to tell you everything you need to know, from what gifts she likes to where you can find her. But before we get into all of that, make sure you check out our full Moonlight Peaks characters guide, where you can learn who all of your neighbors are. Meeting Moonlight Peaks' Orlock is certainly an experience.

Can you believe that we're finally setting foot in the long-awaited Snezhnaya: the home of cryo, the Tsaritsa, and the Fatui. I got to hop into Genshin Impact's 7.0 update - the big one - early, and had a blast. An icy blast. The next Genshin Impact update brings us, finally, into the eighth region of Teyvat, where the Tsaritsa reigns, and all the lore we've ever wanted to learn awaits. Now, don't expect story spoilers here - that's all up to you to find out on your own. I don't want to get on the Fatui's bad side, after all. But what I did experience was miles of beautiful, frozen landscapes to explore, with new enemies waiting to feel my fury, and overworld puzzles at every turn.

If you've spent the last couple of months waiting for more BALL x PIT content, we've got good news: it's finally here. Yes, as of today, August 6, you can check out the BALL x PIT Naturalist update, the last in a long line of free content offerings from developer Kenny Sun. That means new passives, characters, and balls to check out, combinations to unlock, and high scores to absolutely shatter. For those who don't know, BALL x PIT is a top pick from our guide to the best roguelike games, combining brick-breaker-style gameplay with city-building mechanics to offer an almost dangerously engaging experience. The base game, which is available on mobile, Steam Deck, and Nintendo Switch, got a nomination for Best Independent Game at the 2025 instalment of The Game Awards. It's only got better since, with free updates arriving in January, April, and August. In terms of new characters, the Naturalist update introduces two. First, there's the Ballbearer, who forgoes passive items to double up on balls. Then, we've got the Hoary Hoarder, an ideal pick for testing out new evolutions with their ability to carry twice the normal amount of passives, at the cost of only saving space for two balls. Those are two very different styles of play, but there's a lot of room for synergy by combining the Ballbearer and the Hoary Hoarder with some of the characters already in the roster.

As I found out in my Onimusha: Way of the Sword preview, defeating the game’s bosses is no easy task - fans can relax.

The demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword might have seen you instantly deflect arrows and take on one of the final bosses with a mere flick of some buttons, but some more time with the game in my Onimusha: Way of the Sword preview showed me just how careful and deliberate you'll need to be in the full game. It's a dark, gory, and distinctly Onimusha game, and I think the full game will prove to be a hit for new and old fans alike. This is, at its core, not just a good Samurai game, but a totally immersive experience. Way of the Sword owes that to its stellar worldbuilding. The writing is compelling, with its story and characters being believable while entertaining, and the art direction for the environment is incredible. I'll get back to this, because I know you want to know about the combat first, the difficulty of which is currently the topic of hot debate - is it easy enough? Is it too easy?

Mike Hobbs, from the UK, sat down with us after winning the tournament on July 30, following a tense finals matchup that went the distance. In case you missed it, the Pokémon Champion of Champions competition saw Hobbs go up against other champs of niche varieties, such as record-breaking air guitarists, whistlers, and doers of nothing. I was keen to know more about Hobbs' experience with the event, how he got involved, and whether he thinks his usual hobby of eating stinging nettles is harder than grinding out Pokémon Champions.

Roblox has a game that's proving to be a fun time for fans of Sword Art Online, and we're sure you'd agree, though it's admittedly even better when there are Grand Alfheim codes for you to grab. These are especially handy if you plan to head into PvP combat, as nobody wants to be the one to lose. However, if you ask us, it's the MMORPG's vast open world that steals the show, giving you much to explore, while also allowing you to get some great abilities. The only downside to the game is that it's in early access, and the general public can only play the demo. However, with these handy freebies, you might earn your place in the early access crowd by competing in the White Room.

Sonic the Hedgehog is officially 35, with his first game having been initially released in June 1991. 35 years. That's a long time, and a worthy reason to celebrate the Blue Blur. Sega's beloved mascot and videogame icon. While this serves as a reminder of my age and the vendetta that time clearly has against me, it also swells my heart - I've been a Sonic fan for as long as I can remember. I'm not just talking about the Sonic games, though, of course, I own nearly all of them (Unleashed, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Black Knight all hold a very special place in my heart). I'm also talking about the comics, movies, TV shows, Funko Pops, collectible figures, the whole nine yards. There's a very impressive Sonic collection in my house with some rarities that other collectors dream of having, and I'm a shameless Underground fanatic who longs to see that show make a comeback - did Sonic, Sonia, and Manic find their mother? Tell me, Sega. With such a long history spanning many forms of media, it's no surprise that the Blue Blur remains an important figurehead in the realm of videogames. He's made a lasting impact in the world of music, too, with some absolute bangers belonging to his adventures - Unleashed's Endless Possibilities and Sonic Adventure 2's Live and Learn are among my favorites (and two of the most recognizable in general), though Sonic 06's His World is also up there, and is perhaps the best thing about that game. But, beyond those tracks, Sonic has some highly recognizable tunes from his early days; I still panic thinking I'm about to drown in pink water whenever I hear Chemical Plant.

After weeks of teasers, we've finally got all the all-important details surrounding the new Anbernic RG SP, the Chinese tech brand's homage to the iconic Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP. The headline is that it's now available to order, and not only that, but if you pick it up before August 8, you can get it for just $57.99, saving you a cool $7 on the regular price of $64.99. As an ultra-affordable option to some of the top picks from our guide to the best retro handhelds, the RG SP looks like a great option for anyone looking for a dose of nostalgia without breaking the bank. Its specs aren't all that much to write home about, with just 1GB of RAM and a pretty basic Allwinner H700 chip, but that should still make it capable enough of running homebrew games and the like. The real highlight of the RG SP is the design. It looks just like the original GBA SP, save for a couple of modernizing touches, such as some additional face buttons and a slightly larger display. Outside of that, it's a dead ringer for the classic handheld. As for colorways, it's available in four metallic designs: Graphite, Platinum, Pearl Blue, and Pearl Pink.

Across the years, despite flipping back and forth between brands, I always find myself checking in on Logitech. The long-running tech giant fueled my Modern Warfare 2 sessions in 2009 and kept me connected with my friends during the rise of Warzone. Now I find myself back in its orbit after spending some time with the Logitech G325 Lightspeed headset. If you're in the market for a new set of cans but don't want to break the bank, there's a lot to like here.

Soulslike fans - this one's for you. This week, we've got a Lies of P: Complete Edition giveaway, which will give two lucky winners a copy of the game on Nintendo Switch 2. Lies of P is one of the best games like Dark Souls out there, recently earning a 9/10 from our resident Soulslike enjoyer, Kayleigh, in her Lies of P review. The game is based on the story of Pinocchio and introduces you to a Victorian setting where familiar names, like Gepetto, appear. But all is not as it seems... Our giveaway of the Complete Edition includes the game's Overture expansion, so there's even more to sink your teeth into.

In Moonlight Peaks, Dragan is tall, dark, and handsome. He's good at sensing auras and finds you intriguing. This is excellent news as he's a candidate you can choose to pursue. He does spend a lot of time playing cards, though, so keep that in mind. Make sure to pore over our Moonlight Peaks review to see if it's going to be your new favorite farm game. It should be, as it's got a lot to offer - including the handsome Dragan.

We’ve collected some of the best Splatoon Raiders builds you can use in the game for different situations.

The question of what the best Splatoon Raiders build is can be hard to answer. Really, it all comes down to what your preference is in terms of how you deal damage. Do you prefer all ink, all the time? Or do you want a single laser-focused beam of ink you can control? Remember that each of the three tanks has different Splatoon Raiders gadgets you can use, and you can equip up to three at a time. As you level up, you unlock the ability to use a gadget from a different tank on others. To make that a bit clearer, if you have the Power tank equipped, you can use a Speed gadget. If you have the Tactical tank equipped, you can use a Power gadget, and if you have the Speed tank, you can use a Tactical gadget.
