Bag Slot and Synthesis Dilemma

"What should I do with this items? My bag full of useful yet useless items now.. lol"

Sometimes we see someone or maybe ourself thinking or talking like this on in-game chat. At least, there're two basic problem of this issue. Maybe it's because we don't have another bag slot, or we don't know what to do with those items.

1st Solution: Buy Additional Slot Bag

Well, I don't want to think that my bag is a zoo like that picture, lol. So, buying additional bag is a must if u're someone who always stock/keep useful items for the future. Try to buy the 3rd slot bag for 188g, and if you still have some gold left, won't hurt if you buy the 4th slot bag too for 288g.

If you're addict jar smasher or wanna try to collect some outfit for your outfit collection, it's good thing to expand your wardrobe to until you can get 10-15 slots for your outfit.

2nd Solution: Item Grouping

Try to group some items with your creativity, synth them so you can group them. This example need two 1s as catalyst:

Synth hp/chakra bag, element potion and konoha to toad arcanum.
Synth pet food (21) to exp mark [1.6].
Synth pet food (23) with low satiety until you get pet food (23) with 180 satiety or watermelon (32)/little bean (32) to feed your pet.

Optional: You can synth exp mark [1.6] to pet food (32) / exp seal [2.0] if you gonna use it to create demon proofs (must have hand grenade). Keep any pet food (8) with 80 satiety is good to feed your pet too, but discard any pet food (8) with low satiety.

If you don't need pet(30), you can synth pet food (21), hp/chakra bag, or element pot with two pet(30). Or try to create demon proofs by synth: hand grenade + pet food (32) + pet(30). And you can use pet(40) like 3s so try to synth orange outfit, or even new 4s using it if you don't need pet(40).

What to do with 2s, 3s, or 4s gears?

Well, 2s is good to create demon proof or blue outfit, you can combine it with pet food (32) or enchanment stone (32) as catalyst.

If you need to keep any 3s or 4s as future catalyst on your bag, try to cycle it until you get an accessories item. So you can have more slot for another item on your bag. To cycle 3s item, synth: 3s + 1s + 1s, and to cycle 4s item, synth 4s + 1s/2s + 2s.

3rd Solution: Keep Unbound Items at Market.

If you're not gonna use any unbound 2s/3s yet, it's good thing to keep it on market. Just sell then withdraw it but don't claim it yet. Best if you already got high synth cost, and want to keep your bag from those slot-bag-eater items. Don't forget that you can't claim your items when the market on maintenance.

4th Solution: Put Gear or Talisman on Armory

Well it's kinda the most extreme solution, but if you need space on your bag, it won't hurt to do that. But don't forget your gears. lol

Ofurotenani Fansite Review

I created this post while waiting for the new patch of Pockie Ninja implemented after the server maintenance ~~tomorrow~~. So let check out this fansite called ofurotenani.

Actually I like this site, because there's so much info about the existing and future features on this site, cool new S-rank outfit, pet skills, village system, and so on.

As you can see, there's some new male outfit (and female outfit too) that explained so well on this site. The bmv, what weapon they can use, skill release, even you can see the clip of their normal and advance special secret tech.

Based on the new patch & hotfix thread, The developer will add 10 more Mystery S-Class outfits and 5 more Rare Outfits. I wonder who they are, lol. Oh, and you can raise your pet to +27 too as I wrote that on previous post. Well, I think we need to be prepared for this, so check the new outfits first and plan what to do for your character.

There's a forum about this game on ofurotenani, but not too active though. Visit it sometimes, there's good chat system on it.

Last, this fansite has mumble server that we can use. It's a voice chat system like Ventrilo and Teamspeak. Just check it out on the main page of this site.

Transfer Shop vs Manual Synthesis

Lots of people think that cycling pet or outfit using transfer shop is more costly than using manual synthesis. So let's do some simple math using both method to cycle pet or outfit and compare it cost.

Transfer Shop

I tried it once and I need to pay about ~750 stone each time I use this feature (maybe it depend on our level too). Choosing auto menu won't get us better chance to get pet or outfit you want faster/cheaper. It's just give us easier way so you can do another things while wait till the cycling done or till it eat all of the stone we spent on it.

If we're lucky we can get pet/outfit we want just by doing it once, or we won't get it until we're out of stone. It's the same when we using manual synth to do this, so it's not the pro or cons.

Manual Synthesis

Let's see how much stone we need to do manual synth. I need to pay for about ~400 stone to buy two 1s from item shop just like this picture.

Now we know using manual synth is cheaper than using transfer shop when the synth cost is less than 350 stone. But as we know, we always need to synth something everyday such as synthesizing iron ore, toad acranum, pet food (32), high level 4s gears, orange outfit, demon proof, etc.

Conclusion

I think this transfer shop features really helpful for me because I always need to synth something everyday, and I tend to have more than 600 stone synth cost everyday. It's good way to cycle the outfit/pet, but it cannot help us if we need it to be unbound. I tend to put like 100k stone to cycle 5-8 outfit I want.

How to Raise Your 2nd Pet

Hi guys! Long time no see. Sorry again for the late new post on this blog.

There're nice discussion thread at forum about raising fantastic pet on pockie ninja. Check this out first:

What do you think? And there's a rumor that there'll be update patch where we can upgrade our pet to +27 later. Now, we can only choose 13 skills for our pet at +18, but we'll have 16 skills at +27. Because of that, choosing good pet skills from now on can be a big investment for future patch.

Well, why i wrote 2nd pet on this title post? It's just because you'll need another pet while you try to raise the "perfect" pet you want. I have my old riceball+18 as my primary pet now, so I think I'll try to raise another pet for the next patch. I choose dragon for my later pet and for example on this guide.

This is what I do to get all pet skills I want to have on my 2nd pet from scratch. Hope you stock a lots of pet food, because this is really take times and resource to get the "perfect" skills you want.

First, I prepared my pet to have 2-2-3 or 2-3-2 skill slot at +0. I tried to find my first 3 passive first (the un-buy-able or expensive one). Why? check the 3rd thread above. I used 1 pet skill lock to find the passive on each discovery, but you can use 3 pet skill locks to lock 2 skills, if you have much gold/coupons to do that.

After I got the passive skills exactly like I want, I tried to work on the aid skills. I tried to find 4 un-buy-able aid skills first at +6, just like the picture below. It's hard to maintain 4 pet skill slots with just 1 pet skill lock. You may need to lock 2 skills on each discovery to do this.

This is why you'll need another pet, because there's no active aid skills yet that really help during battle on this phase. Different pet can be raised with different path, just plan what skills that you really want first.

Upgrade it several times then i bought the attack and block skills, and put it on my last aid slot. You may try to find the advance aura at +9, but it gives you not much different boost than the elementary one. I can use my pet now. It's good enough to assist me on battle.

After failed several times to upgrade, i got my final dragon+18, and put the buy-able skills on my passive. Thanks to the late event that give me common valhalla crystal, so I can buy 1 passive skill. Up until now, I still working to find the expert aura, so I'll using my old pet until then. Hope I'll find it soon.

Last, this is my dream pet at +27. I wonder how many times do I need to upgrade it till I get it, lol. But it's really worthy to try. Please don't mind about the pet evolution picture :p

I think this is the easiest way to buy golden beans for this game if you're not have any credit card / paypal. Ok here's the brief guide about how to buy Ultimate Game Card voucher (UGC) then exchange it to gold.

The exchange rate is $1 UGC = 1 golden bean = 20 gold + bonus gold from event. You can see the current bonus gold at the moment is 20 gold for 1 golden bean. So $1 UGC = 40 gold till the end of this month (July). And there's a bonus for the first top-up as you can see it on official website.

Troubles Playing on Different Time Zone

Hi guys, I'm playing Pockie Ninja on different timezone. My timezone is GMT+7 where the server timezone is GMT-5 (as described on another post). It's 6 hours different.

It's give me some trouble like this:

I can't see my ninja diary progress, so i need to write down somewhere or remember what just i did today for my liveness. And here's the second trouble:

Somehow I can't bet on the final rounds or another ronds at World Cup. When I ask my friend, he/she can bet on it easily and there is no problem with him/her.

SIMPLE SOLUTION: Change your current timezone on your computer/laptop to GMT-5 (US/Canada).

After I did that, I can see my ninja diary progress nicely.

And now, I can bet my medals without problem.

Understanding How The Event Works

There's lots of event that you can participate when playing Pockie Ninja. Here's one example of it. It's double exp event, I got the picture from the main site.

Let see, there was double exp event on May 13 09.00-11.00 (CST). FYI: server time zone is GMT-5. You need to convert it to your time zone. Example: my time zone is GMT + 7. So, I need to play at 21.00-23.00 at my place to get double exp from this event.

How to check if I play on the right time?

Test it by fighting any outdoor monster. If you are in the right time, you'll see the bonus exp when you done fighting monster. Example: 314 Exp + 314 Bonus Exp (without VIP and Exp Mark/Seal). There's a server time too in this blog on the sidebar that will help you to know what time's now on the server.

When you are sure that you're on the right time, use all our movement point to fight demons (using demon proof) and fight the highest outdoor monster you can get. Best to use Exp Seal (2.0) + VIP, so you can get 3.3Exp from beating the monster.

Calculation of Exp:
Normal Exp(1.0) + Event Exp (1.0) + Exp Seal (1.0) + VIP (0.3) = 3.3 Exp.

Share: My Daily Leveling Guide

Hi guys. I've been playing Pockie Ninja for ~2 months. Now my character is level 58 (need 200k exp to hit 59). I wanna share what I always do everyday. I divide my routine in two days work and always using VIP Card.

My First Day (240-290 Liveness)

Assumed I get 101 movement when the server restart (you can see why if you read this article until the end). I tend to use 3-5 of my movement for my apprentices to get some exp. Then get 2-3 bounty quest at town every hour (I tend to choose the S, A, or B quest, when I see C quest I'll wait for the next hour), and always choose to auto-complete (it takes 30 minutes) for "Demon Elimination" and "Collect Foreign Matter" so I can save up some gift coupons.

Don't forget the new "Pet Tracing" system to find some pet foods and pet eggs.

Then do some exploration (I always replenish it 1 time for 12 gift coupons). Doing this will give me more chance to get some Demon Proof, or another usefull items. Then do Valhalla dungeon with friends. Sometimes, I'm to lazy so I just do Valhalla Camp Hard, lol (You'll still get item from the flip card if your level is too high). After that I'll fight the monster at Las Noches 2 times.

While waiting the exploration refresh. I tend to do 10 slot (machine) on this day (I'm using 30 movement for this). Hoping to find some 3s unbound to sell it on the market, or synthesize it with blue outfit to get orange outfit first then sell it on the market.

Let's end this day by sleep at Hall (buy a special training card at Item Mall so you can get 130% Exp) and fight some people at arena. If I have much gold I'll break 5 gold jars to fulfill my 290 Liveness, or just skip it if I've got too many unbound outfit that I need to sell it first.

At the end of this day I still get ~70 movement point. If my movement is higher than 70 I tend to do more slot, so I can get ~200 movement point for the next day (by using VIP Card you can get 130 movement each day).

My Second Day (190-240 Liveness)

Now I get ~200 movement point after the server reset on this day. I'll do the same routine just like on my first day. Do bounty quest at town, exploration, run Valhalla, and go to Las Noches. But I'm not doing slot on this day. Because it's my leveling day. ^_^

Preparation:

Find or synthesize toad arcanum, and demon proof.
Buy or synthesize Exp Seal (2.0)

Use Exp Seal (2.0) and go hunt demon monster using demon proof in outdoor map. Then fight the highest level monster outdoor you can find (use your toad arcanum to replenish movement point). Exp Seal works for 3 hours, so you can use normal attack if you wanna save some gift coupons. I tend to use normal attack until I only get 1 movement left and use instant chain-attack 30 movement for the last one, so my movement point at this moment is -29, and I'll only get 101 movement on the next day.

After done all hard work for this day, let's sleep at Hall and do Arena for a bit. My Liveness should be 220 now, I could break some gold jars if I want to reach 240 Liveness.

I changed my second day routine to do lots of slot using Exp Seal (2.0). It gives me lots of enhance talismans, hand grenades, and some 2s/3s. I tend to use 2s to create demon proof and use 3s to create orange outfit/pet(40). It's a good routine if you guys wanna save some coupons/gold. It still give you huge amount of Exp if you create lots of demon proofs from doing this. Save them up till you get 50-80+ demon proofs to use it later.

Synthesis Formula (Reff: Santuary):

HP/Chakra carrier Bag + 1s + 1s = Element Potion (purple color)
Element Potion + 1s + 1s = konoha arcanum (+5 movement point)
konoha arcanum + 1s + 1s = toad arcanum (+10 movement point)

Pet food (21) [Fresh Beer, Sausage, etc] + 1s + 1s = EXP Mark (1.6)
EXP Mark (1.6) + 1s + 1s = Pet food (32) / EXP Seal (2.0)

How to Do Fast Slot (Skipping Scene)

Doing slot is the most time-consuming when playing this game. You may beat the enemies but there's low chance to get loot. So, here's a little tips for you to skip fighting scene when doing slot. You can do it with your friend, or solo it yourself.

Get your teammate and fight the enemies at the slot as usual.

At the loading screen like the picture above, reload your browser. Doing slot like this is faster than to wait all three fight. Remember the enemies you're fighting before, and see your HP after you return to the game. You win if you have some HP left and have different enemies for the next slot.

Let's check the next enemies. There's two Gaara. You should get a gift box from slot by now (if you are a leader). Let see your bag pack then.

Choose: Team Stone, Enter Lounge, Restore HP and Chakra. It's cheaper than using any pots. You may want to do exploration between the slot fight.

Why we can do slot like this? It's because all variable (win/lose, reward, skill movement) processed before the animation begin.

How to Create and Manage Team at Valhalla

Many people tend to wait invitation when he/she is going to do Valhalla dungeon. But actually, become a leader means more chance get loot items. Because it requires more effort and knowledge. But don't worry, here is the basic knowledge that Pockie Ninja players should know.

Invite Team Member

When you are in Valhalla, you'll see two menus on the right of the screen. The bottom menu is used to request entry into the team, while the top menu is used to invite others to join your team. You can win Valhalla Hard Camp with three people level 21+ in your team. So choose wisely your teammate. Always ask people who joined your team whether he/she is gonna do the same dungeon with you.

Switch Team Member

If one of your member get low of HP/Chakra, switch him/her down so he/she can regain some HP/Chakra for the next battle.

When he/she got full HP/Chakra, you can switch him/her back to the top if you want to, or switch another person.

When you master this switch skill, then you'll have more chance to win at any dungeon. It come very handy when one of your teammate suddenly gone (maybe it's because bad connection).

Change Team Leader

You can change leader when you tired. First, ask someone in your team who wants to be a leader. Then click the "refresh like" button to change leader before fighting another monster.

How to Earn and Spending Gold Without Buying It

Based on Genma's guide about "Gold Spending and Earning Tips", you can make profit (get more stone/gold) by using 90+ gold. Lately, I also did the same experiment. I usually get one orange and some blue/gray outfit out of 10 times the mystery jar is opened each day. The cost to open one mystery jar is 18 gold, so I need 180 gold minimum to do this.

The question is, how can I get that 180 gold?

Well, it's a bit tricky because the bound/unbound system. Here's some example what you can do:

Be patient.
Find some 2s/3s equipment (unbound), you can get it by running any Valhalla dungeon (Hard), or doing Slot Machine.
Save up your stone until you can buy grey/blue unbound outfit on the market, grey cheapest price is 15,000 stone and blue cheapest price is 40,000 stone (maybe lower/higher).
Synthesize it to higher outfit level (remember the bound/unbound rule).
Grey + 2s + 2s = Blue (70%). Blue + 3s + 3s = Orange (80%).
Then sell it at the market with only accept gold payment. Blue for 40-60 gold each, and Orange for 125-150 gold each.

Hope you can get 180+ gold now. Then go break some mystery jars (you can stop if you get orange outfit before the 10 times). Sell the outfit you get for gold/stone. You can save some grey/blue outfit to synthesize it later with another unbound equipment too.

Yeah, it's based on luck, you may get profit, break event, or broke. But the good thing is, you can save up your medal every day by doing this (for fulfilling your ninja diary), and get some enchantment stone, or any gift. You can get more Exp bonus doing bounty quest (using gold), or buy a new VIP card too.

Leveling Tips (Newbie) part 2

This is a continuation of previous article "Leveling Tips (Newbie) Part 1".

Next Day

I hope you're having fun playing Pockie Ninja on the first day, and learned some basic game play. Actually, this guide is for player level 16+. You can use this guide on your first day playing this game too.

Important Note!

Save your movement point, and do not use all of the following items yet, before read this guide:

Any elemental focus potion (color: purple)
Fresh beer
Demon proof of suppresion
Konoha/Toad arcanum
EXP seal/mark

First of all, claim your exp at hall (if you put your character in there), do main quest (if you have). Then do Valhalla dungeon (hard is always better), bounty quest, exploration, slot, and Las Noches to fulfill your ninja diary.

You may need to see Synthesis Formulas Guide by Neliel to learn some definition and synthesis formulas.

Preparation

Synthesize [Fresh beer + 1s + 1s] to get EXP mark (1.6), or you can buy EXP seal/mark at Item Mall
Synthesize [elemental focus potion + 1s + 1s] to get konoha arcanum
Synthesize [konoha arcanum + 1s +1s] to get toad arcanum
Synthesize [anonymous card + 1s + 2s] to get hand grenade 90% (Optional)
Synthesize [hand grenade+ 2s + 2s] to get Demon proof of suppresion 60% (Optional)

Fast Leveling Guide

Use all Toad arcanum you got, to restore some movement point. Then use EXP seal/mark to get more experience. Let's find and fight some outdoor mini boss first to use Demon proof (Always check you HP/Chakra, and use high-damage/disabled skill). You can get huge Exp, and get some nice loot items by doing this.

After that, use all the remaining movement point to fight the highest level outdoor monster you can find. I usually use instant chain attack to do this. Hope you can level up by doing this and do some quest to get more Exp/gift coupons/stone.

End of The Day

Let's get some rest at the Hall, do some duel at Arena, and use all free duel to complete your ninja dairy. You can register at World Tournament (guide by widower666), raise your pet, selling unbound things at the market (level 25+), or do some synthesis to end your day playing Pockie Ninja.

How to Synthesize Iron and Rare Ore

Synthesizing iron ore is very basic knowledge that every Pockie Ninja player should know. If you read the bounty quest explanation, you'll understand how to do it very quickly. But synthesizing rare ore is a bit tricky.

SYNTHESIZING IRON ORE

The recipe says that to create iron ore you need an item and two disassembler scroll. And there's three type of disassembler scroll: weapon, armor, and accessory. You can get it from item shop that show randomly.

After that go to bag interface, click rapid to use synthesis interface. I'll use weapon type for example.

It's easy, isn't it? Now you can get 2000+ stone every hour.

SYNTHESIZING RARE ORE

You can get hand grenade from slot or exploration easily. The hardest things to create rare ore is to find mysterious disassembler scroll at black shop (refresh once an half hour). Find as much as you can until you get three different types. It will takes a lot of time, be patient.

The recipe says that you need to synthesize item + mysterious disassembler scroll + hand grenade. Let's do some experiment then.

Choose armor as an item, and use one of mysterious disassembler scroll. Usually, the type that you'll find a lot are for accessory disassembler, so choose another scroll to test it. If you fail, you'll get a feather. Now you know that scroll is not for armor item, maybe it's for weapon. Then do one more synthesis with weapon. Hope you get the right choice now.

After you know all type of scrolls, arrange them like the picture above. So you can easily remember it. Do this bounty quest can give you 5000+ stone.

We can't tell the difference between weapon and the other scroll now. So you need to test it first.

Leveling Tips (Newbie) part 1

There's a nice leveling guide by Genma at the forum. It's very deep and really good for a long-term play. I use it as my reference.

LEVELING GUIDE

This Pockie Ninja's guide is made for player who can spent 4-5 hours a day to play based on ninja diary system (check ninja diary guide by Kirvin). Don't mind about your build/stat or skills now. You can go for your build or resetting skill after you reach level 31+.

First Day

Choose your avatar and village then follow the quest tutorial (see the guide to choose your village by 3zycupid). After you can freely move, go accept all the quest and finish the talk-quest first. You'll get 2 quest that need the same monster to kill. Use instant chain attack for fast leveling.

Always use 5 multiple chain attack if you want to use gift coupons to instant it (cost 1 gift coupon).

At level 10, get bounty quest (refreshed once an hour). I always claim 4 quest per hour, so I can get 20 quest for playing 4+ hours. You can't synthesize iron ore now though, but claim the quest first.

Here's tips for carrier bag quest. Click the box near HP/Chakra status, just buy HP carrier bag only. So you only pay for 5 gift coupons. It's expensive, so you shouldn't buy it from now on, except you're rich.

At level 15, you can use synthesis. Find some disassembly scroll to make iron ore by refreshing item shop. Then go to bounty quest menu, and finish the quest.

Don't waste time to fight monster for bounty quest. Use instant complete for only 2 gift coupons. You'll need 20 gift coupon (minimum) to complete one day bounty quest, if you get 4 quest per hour.

If you stuck at your level, go fight highest level monster outdoor, sleep at the Hall, wait until next exp bounty quest, or fighting monster at Las Noches (need 1000stone).

Here's nice tips. Go to Las Noches, fight some monster. then leave it to finish some quest or exploration. After that you can continue Las Noches's challenge on the same floor number.

This tips is pretty good if you want to clear exploration diary (need to replenish it for 12 gift coupons) or to buy pots when you have low of HP/chakra. You can clear the "10 floor level Las Noches" like this too.

By the way, you can solo decadent nest at levle 15. So you should reach level 16 by then.

After you reach level 16, go fight slot at Crossroads 10 times with team. You can go fight at Valhalla hard now, but you'll need help from level +26 player to cover your lack.

Last, but not least, go to the Hall after you finished all quest and leveling up. Find some room (always choose full room like 6/8 or 7/8 so you can get +5 exp bonus). Then go fight at the Arena to increase your rank. Break 5 jars daily, and do some duels to fulfill your daily ninja.

Gift Coupons

Gift coupons are a player life in this game, more gift coupons means more chance to survive. It's a must saving it for a player who wants to avoid purchasing gold. Be patient and leveling up.

Stone

It's the main currency in Pockie Ninja. You'll need stone for leveling up at Las Noches, enter the Hall, buying some equipment, synthesizing something, etc. Save it always so you can keep leveling, and never synthesis unnecessary.

Gold

Gold function is like gift coupon, but more exclusive. Player can buy any items that need gift coupons, buying VIP Card, get unbound items, and smash exclusive jar to get Outfit (unbound).

Medal

Player can get medal from arena, and cash it for exp, equipment, and jar. Save it for higher rank (except for breaking 5 jar daily), so you can get more exp, and more chance to get nice outfit from jar.

Welcome to the blog about the experience of playing Pockie Ninja.

Pockie Ninja is a flash based game, where we can just play it online using an Internet browser. This game is very fascinating because we can play our favorite characters from two famous manga-anime in Japan, which is naruto and bleach. the characters have a tiny body (chibi) and very cute.

The game is still Open Beta though, got some music background but no sound effects. But this game had a lot intention and a lot of people play it. You can register and try to play it online at ninja.game321.com.

You, can check another screenshoot, video, wallpaper, etc at the main website. And here's a video trailer. It's really cute and simply amazing.
