May the light piercing through the darkness inspire hope for a better tomorrow and gratitude for the coming day. This is not only my first podcast, but I believe it's the first specifically pro-migrant podcast on the worldwide web, if there's any way to state that humbly. The written word is powerful, but it's not everything. In an attempt to reach more people with the intimacy of voice, I'm going to start producing Podcast Orange. Podcast Orange will be a summary of the news and my thoughts from the previous week. Forgive my primitive tools and underdeveloped artistic nature, because I'm only going to speak this first podcast out in in boring monotone. For this initial podcast, I will restate the goals that I have been trying to achieve through Immigration Orange at immigration.campustap.com My goal has always been unifying humanity through the development of a global citizenship. For the anti-migrant advocates out there, that doesn't mean erasing national boundaries, it just means that we have to expand our minds beyond them. Everyone has the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and the sooner those rights are guaranteed to every person on earth the better off all of us will be. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are not absolved of responsibility just because injustice occurs in a different nation than our own. This is especially true if we have influence over the entities that commit those injustices.
