title="Mayhew Kempster Pop Culture" /> Tom Mayhew (from the Tom and Jon Takeover Your Ears Podcast) and mate Dan Kempster get together every fortnight to mock and slowly destroy from within elements of modern day popular culture that they find ridiculous.

In their new podcast Mayhew Kempster Pop Culture the pair target topics such as the sleazier side of internet dating, buzz word job application questions, the tabloids non-news journalism and taking aim at certain members of the community that annoy them beyond despair.

Unedited and raw with a huge dose of silliness and an air of a student bar conversation after 5 snakebites, the show is sarcastic, funny and satirical with an element of truth in their rants.
Charlie is a long time comic book fan and is the founder of comicrelated.com and seasoned podcaster who hosted the first 300 episodes of the comic book review podcast The Related Recap before moving onto podcast pastures new.

He now works with go-go girl Ginny at Pandora Promotions who organize Steampunk, Cabaret and Sci-Fi themed events in Kentucky. With such cool hobbies, work and interests the chat is always entertaining with a great mix of serious and frivolous social commentaries and personal stories and opinions from the fun loving pair inbetween downing shots and music from Doctor Bombay and the Atomic Bachelor Pad. Check out their Facebook page and site www.charlietonic.com for show notes, additional blog posts and to say hi.

Meet the Comedians: Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle

As part of Apple's Meet the Comedian series, British jokesters Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle descended upon the Apple retail store in London's Regent street on 21st November 2011 to discuss their upcoming tours, dissect each others style and answer some interesting audience questions.

They are both known for their unique deadpan styles and unapologetic often controversial content, but they have entirely different deliveries and personas - Jimmy the well spoken, quick witted one liner, - Frankie the pessimistic aggressive Scot - but as any 8 out of 10 Cats fan will confirm they compliment one another exceedingly well.

While there are funny moments the intention of the event is for the audience to get an insight into the comedy philosophies and future projects of two of Britain's most edgy comedians by giving them a stage to talk openly and honestly without the pressure to perform and make a paying audience laugh.

AdoramaTV

Located in Manhattan, New York, Adorama is one of the largest specialist stills and video camera shops and mail order websites in the USA - known for their wide selection of equipment, accessories and knowledgeable photography loving staff.
He began uploading videos to YouTube in 2008 and has since been picked up by new media giant Revision3 who distribute his shows as a podcast.

The videos are the classic vlog format with Mark being recorded by a webcam in his room and edited with cutaways as he gets hands on with the latest phones, tablets, computers and must have gadgets. But don't mistake the lack of a traditional TV Style set for amateurism, in fact the simple style is more authentic which his 300,000+ subscribers can easily relate to.

Mark is enthusiastic, genuinely likable and trustworthy with valid well thought out and unbiased opinions on the products he reviews which makes for an engaging, entertaining and informative show that has seen incredible success and makes Soldier one of the most influential tech reviewers vlogging today.

Podrunner Workout Music

Los Angeles DJ Steve Boy has a novel approach to his podcast DJ mixes, tailoring high energy dance tracks to create one hour fixed tempo and interval workout music mixes designed to motivate walkers, joggers and runners.
Since then he has written every day - making it one of the longest running daily blogs worldwide.

Spanning everything from his stand up shows to his relationships, social commentary and comedic take on the mundane hum drum of life, his writing is witty, often sarcastic and self deprecating but always brutally honest and a cathartic release describing the highs and lows of his life that spawns ideas for his future TV/Radio/Stand Up material that push the boundaries of comedy to the limit.

If you prefer listening to the man himself or just too lazy to read the blog, Rich releases a podcast version of the Warming Up Blog. Strangely entertaining with a feeling of stalking a man who wants to be stalked.
Each episode is around 10 minutes long and contains an unedited monologue from Michelle who talks honestly about what is on her mind - from beginning to date again after a decade absence to describing her personal philosophies and lessons learnt along her life's journey and her cathartic confessions of balancing providing for her child with fulfilling her career goals.

Her anonymity adds to the mystery and the topics discussed are sure to resonate with women worldwide in a similar situation. It is ultimately an example of the power of podcasting where an individual whose initial intention was to express her feelings online has found a voice and audience.

X-Play's Video Podcast

X-Play is American cable channel G4's flagship video game review show hosted by Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb.
It is natural to want to become the best we can in our careers, finances, personal life and ultimately finding a balance between them all - that is true success.

Experts agree that the best and fastest way to learn success principles is to emulate what already successful people do and it is no accident that these people apply many of the same key skill and mindsets. So whatever your starting point there is a general formula with age old and time tested principles to follow to become more successful.

Kris Gilbertson explains these principles in an easily understandable, concise, inspiring and entertaining way as well as interviewing top achievers from a range of industries on her Secrets of the Extraordinary Successful podcast. Kris is also very active on social networks so check her out on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin and her own site for more info.

Paul Van Dyks VONYC Sessions Podcast

As one of only a handful of DJ's to be voted "World's Number 1" multiple times, winning the title in both 2005 and 2006 as well as being the only DJ to be in the top ten consistently since 1998, Paul van Dyk is one of the most successful and critically respected DJs of his generation.

They feature classic characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Betty Boop, Popeye and Superman but before you start playing them to your toddler as Nick Jr replacements be aware that they are of a certain era and some include 2nd world war propaganda, racial and sexual stereotypes - hence the podcast's explicit tag in iTunes.

However as a glimpse into early animation style and how the days current affairs, erroneous consciousness and government disinformation became subtle and sometimes not so subtle undercurrents in essentially children's cartoons they are curious to watch if you think of them as historic relics rather than humorous modern entertainment.

Increase My Small Business

Following a 30+ year career as an accountant and CFO for a number of companies Mark Stowers took the leap in 2005 to become a business owner and manager, becoming a franchise holder of Comfort Keepers, a home care business in Wisconsin which has seen extraordinary growth and success.

Originally they were suppose to be temporary presenters filling in for Rickey Gervais' Saturday show in 2003 whilst he filmed the 2nd series of The Office but when Gervais left the station shortly after, the pair took over the slot staying for 3 years before moving to BBC 6 Music.

The show consisted of the inventive pairs musings and silliness with regular features such as Song Wars where the pair write and record a themed song and listeners vote the winner. The banter is genuinely funny, witty and engaging and although there are plenty of "in" jokes that regular listeners will appreciate, new listeners will not feel excluded. All in all some of the finest comedy radio broadcast in the UK in recent times which podcast subscribers can relive.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt 2 Podcast

To celebrate the theatrical release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 2, the final installment of the phenomenally successful franchise, British radio station Absolute Radio released their red carpet interviews with the stars of the film as they attended the UK premier in 2011.

The podcasts do not contain any extracts or in fact much info about the book instead featuring personal pleas to buy the book from from the grumpy, disillusioned and dry witted comedy legend. However they are short and fun enough to spend a few minutes watching and give a taste of Jack's style to anyone unfamiliar.

The autobiography itself is a journey of Jacks early life with hilariously frank accounts of short lived jobs and his eventual stumble into comedy in the late 1980's. An unabridged audio book version read by Jack is available in iTunes.
