This project is about educational architecture design. International Maritime College has setup the TOR to invite architect firm in Thailand to join the competition.

The purpose is design the new education building for student and staff in IMC that increasing year by year and the old building is not enough for student, staff and new education technology.

We have only one week to create the preliminary design of sixth storey building fit to 28 x 50 m. connect to 80 m. long buliding (one storey) that envelop by hillside and PODS got assigned to prepare all of the presentation include preliminary perspective rendering, preliminary building layout, elevation, section and verbal presentation have to show up in presentation day.

New IMC building need work shop, office for all staff, lecture room, student studio, obsevatory lab, some of specific technology of maritime learning room, library and the design concept have to respresent the iconic of international maritime and concern about sustainable architecture design.

Because of the diversity and large numbers of the program and requirement inside that make PODS've to conclude the image of whole project so quickly.

PODS got casual idea that come from the concept of container ship by use the idea of modular design by compartmentalize the program into module form (Box form) by one box interpert as one room like this picture below.

Pepper Lunch

This is proposal design project for Pepper Lunch the japanese teppan restaurant by CRG (Central Restaurant Group) at Center One shopping mall near the Victory Monument in Bangkok .

Design idea is transition of japanese traditional style to japanese modern style by use the minimalism design (Zen) combine with contemporary design together. The space planing use the eating pavilion to separate eating area and main circulation.

Nithi House & Homestay @ Phuket

PODS design house for Mr. Nithi at Phuket Thailand by the location is near golf club and envelop with tree and hillside. The programe inside if residential unit for the owner himself and use for homestay or for rent in some part.

Design of this project have two schematic, this first scheme use modernism style by have simply layout design with begin with one large space for living and dining in some area link to main corridor that take bedroom, and small swiming pool with pool pavilion on the outdoor space.

This project design by PODS while study in SOA+D. The project is about space renovation by have concept of new spa design.

Main idea of project is how to design this spa difference to other spa in present day. That make programe in this spa have to evolution by design the empty space for client who have stress disorder problem but we have no staff, aroma or a therapist.

I've design pure space inside as a therapist by using the sence of peaceful, calm and silence atmosphere and natural lighting let the client using the pure space revise their mind and psyche and make them bright when they get back to work and get ready for new day.

This is the Competition in Thailand by TIDA ( Thailand Interior Designer's Association ) that allow for all of young interior designer in Thailand not over 35 yr.old. The competition assign designer to design food or beverage outlet for vender people in Thailand especially in Bangkok Metropolis.

By TOR we have to design the space for food shop that not over 8-10 sq.m. and use concept of Kinetic for Life.

Under the concept of Kinetic I choose Thai food shop to be my business, I have design the space that use the modular concept for easy to transporting to other location and the main material is wood pallet for support the whole space ( wall, floor, & ceiling )

More over, I have design the installation system and packing system to make the user easy to construct the shop by themselves. Other that, I have design the area for stuff that increasing in every day and become the main problem of Thai vendor.

Mille Malle
(Community Mall @ Sukhumvit 20)

Metro Mall now change to Mille Malle. The whole project design to be the community mall for support the people around the district by the program of restaurant, shopping center and other facilities locate on Sukhumvit 20, Bangkok near the Millenium Residence. The architecture and planning design part have done by SH Architects.

PODS have the responsibility to design the building envelop and facade design concept. The perspective below is the one of 5 schematic that PODS design for this project.

This is the final design of Mille Malle that under construction and plan to open at December 2011.

Parikarn Spa Logo Design By PODS

Parikarn Spa is house renovation project for traditional Thai spa in Chachoengsao. The shop have area requirement of 50 sqm. within the owner house. We have the problem of lowcost budget because the client have only 300,000 ฿ (15,000 $). That make it have to optimise and utilize the space for spa fuction and aesthetic.

PODS design the small stroage by use the wall for advatage and layout fit to spa function. Main area inside are reception area, living area, retail area, Thai masage room, natural foot massage walk way, locker room, two stream room, and three private spa room.

Now, the shop open near Don Thong Temple in Amphur Muang Chachoengsao.

Kasetsart University (KU) Sriracha campus Swimming Pool Building Final Develop

After preliminary presentation we have develop architecture and interior space planing of the building , and now we have the final develop model with nice interior space and facade design.

Finally, we create the constuction drawing for the owner (KU Sriracha) and they already prepare the tender document and look for the contractor to construct the building.

Kasetsart University (KU) Sriracha campus Swimming Pool Building Competition

KU Sriracha has invited SH Architects and ETPRO Sumit Design (Engineering Firm) to join the competition of new swimming pool building.

PODS have responsibility to design the first preliminary design to present at the presentation day.(29/July/2010)

The design strategy of this project is try to observation the context and use it to develop the program within swimming pool building.

From the analysis of site surrounding and context make the planning of building have 3 main part. First, is the entrance hall from tranfer user to other program. Second, is the locker, bath room and activity room that connect to the entrance hall and pool deck. Last one is the pool deck that connect to the 1st and 2nd part.That make all of the program link together and easy to control the user.

Design of architecture of the project try to merge the building to the environment by use shape and form of the hill side to create the form of building and roof structure. (Space frame Structure)

The picture below is the preliminary perspective of project by now the project has developed and ready to construction part that I'll show you the final design later.

The concept of this design is the cutting-edge geometry follow the concept of Millenium Residence and use Perforated to be the main material because of it characteristic that can make the different visual perception from inside and outside.

But, in finally this design have to use high budget that make some of the client not convince to use this one.

Beard Papa's Siamkit Building By PODS & SH Architects

Beard Papa's is cream puff bakery shop branch from Japan.

This project is restuarant design under authority of CRG Thailand (central reataurant group) that PODS have design by the name of SH Architect's co.,ltd.

The design concept is follow the color pantone of original beard papa's original logo.

Other design concept is try to explore the color code to various material such as artificial stone, stain glass, wooden laminate, frost glass, steel and some lighting design.

Now this shop open in Siamkit building at Siam Square, Rama 1 Rd., Pathum Wan, Bangkok.

Proud To Steak By PODS

This project is steak shop in Chachoengsao province. The shop have area requirement of 7m.x7m. and the problem is the lowcost budget because the client have only 150,000 bath (5,000 $). That make the design of stucture and whole shop have to use the lowcost material.

The whole structure of the shop use steel structure and viva board to built wall panel. That make this project look like the prefabrication project that can finish in short time and on a budget.

The design have two schematic by first is two storey but it high budget.That make it decrescent to one storey.

Now, the shop open near carrefour department store in Amphur Muang Chachoengsao.

CCCL PODS Thesis Project

CCCL stand for Chachoengsao Cultural and Community Library this is my thesis project and the last project at SoA+D

The project is about the community development by concern about knowledge of people in Chachoengsao Province that have their own life-style.

The purpose of this project is try to create the gathering place of life-long learning that support Thai government policy for longtime but have no one can make this policy to the tangible.

The project try to research and observe the learning behavior of people and create new architecture to support them.

Concept design is try to use Chachoengsao town image to create character and identities of architecture and interior design.

That I've conclude follow the presentation below.
