The most obvious symptom of a person with this ailment would be a lack of

A young filmmaker just left my house. He had a rough script that had NFVF backing, he had a good story, and he did not know where to start. He was sent to me to make sense of the script he was and to start fresh. This is a big job for someone without experience to pull off. But it can be done. Young filmmakers are always anxious to get the script, but it takes hard work before you can do that. The following will help you do things in the right order.

write a great Letter of Motivation

• Synopsis: A one-page outline of your story; its characters, the plot of the story, and what the action is. No plot equals no story. Something has to happen, there is conflict, you try to resolve the conflict, have things going wrong, you reach a crisis, resolve the crisis, and resolution. This synopsis tells the people backing the story whether they are interested in making your vision a reality.

• Letter of motivation: Why should they back your story?

• Character Bible: Make as many notes as you can about your characters. Flesh them out. Develop each character and do a character bible of each one. A good sample goes something like this; Samantha, 20s, bubbly, talkative, likes the color red, has a twitching eye, or something like that. We want to know the inner character, and this kind of information is better than just listing a name and age of the person.

• Outline/Treatment: What your story is about, and a step by step outline of how the story will progress. The script will be very close to the outline.

• Wants and needs of your characters. This is where you state what the character wants, and what the character needs to do to overcome the problem. In most cases the need to do of the character is psychological or emotional. In other words, the character has to be prepared to do something to satisfy the want. An example: the character wants to sing on stage. The father does not want her to sing in public (the inciting incident). The character needs to rise above disappointing her father to be able to sing. This is the conflict and the heart of the story.

write and rewrite

If you have done a good job with the outline and/or treatment, you then come to the good stuff where you can finally start the script. Crossroads, my next film, starts out with the sound of running feet, and when the screen opens, sees a young drug dealer being chased across the field. The story starts out with a bang. I am trying to rope in the viewer in the first minutes of the film – very much like a writer who does this with a narrative hook when writing a book, meaning, grabbing the viewer’s attention and not letting go until the story is told. Be prepared that you will make many, many revisions of the script along the way.

The commercial stands are made to take the stresses of the normal fish tanks and would support the weight of the water, coral, etc., with no trouble. Other aquarists are contented with a commercial black metal stand, others the fancier wood-grained models, and still others use cement blocks combined with heavy wooden boards. The cement block stands can be left as it is or covered on the front and sides using a cloth or even wood paneling. For those on an unlimited budget specially built bases such as those used for room dividers or merged into part of the wall can be considered. The crucial factor is strength, beauty having to be a secondary consideration.

Today I had a meeting with my boss and said I was unhappy with my workload. She breathed a sigh of relief, saying she thought I was going to tell her I had a new job... apparently I had been looking so unhappy and withdrawn that she presumed I wanted to leave. And she wasn't entirely wrong. I have been feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work and I miss some of the direct contact with charity beneficiaries. In fact, I felt so unhappy about it I even considered (in a moment of madness) quitting to become a farmer! Now as I have an amazing boss, she listened and not only said she would support me in making the workload more manageable, but that if I did want to move on at any point - in eighteen months say - she will help me develop useful skills and contacts. And apparently she really doesn't want me to go!

So it got me thinking - I'm not in the ideal job, but I'm in a pretty good job. And I have been in awful ones in the past. So what are the signs that you should change things?

1. What is it you dislike about your job? If it is small aspects, almost everyone has bits of their job they don't like, providing the good parts outweigh the less interesting. If the bad outweigh the good though...

2. Is there a need to take things beyond your line manager? For example, are they not responding to points you raise? This is especially important if you are facing any form of bullying in the workplace which is not being appropriately responded to. If there is not a 'solvable' reason though...

3. Is work making you ill? No job is worth your health...

If it is more than just a niggle, here's some questions to ask yourself in thinking what to do next:

1. What were your childhood dreams? What inspires and motivates you now?

2. What are your skills? Think outside the box

3. Do you have the ability to develop additional skills in your spare time?

Yes we are in a recession and definitely do NOT quit your job without having another to go to, but it is worth recognizing that change is possible. Try looking at job websites to see what inspires you, study to boost your knowledge and employ-ability, and talk to friends in careers you might be interested in.

I found that simply by acknowledging that I want to change jobs in the next one to two years has taken some of the pressure off. Yes I have bills to pay and don't want to leave myself financially vulnerable, but changing jobs - and even career paths - can be a relaxed and learning experience. So though farming may not really be for me, I might at least look into how a country life could fit in with my career.

Beauty and appearance

You are being unrealistic if you deny the fact that most people really look at the outward appearance and give a higher value on looks. It goes to say that those with beautiful faces and bodies are the ones with higher chances of finding love than those with simple or plain look. It seems to say that if you will marry a beautiful person people will congratulate you but if you marry someone ugly you would probably be ridiculed or made fun of. But that was long ago, our values have changed and looks sometimes are just first impression that sometimes does not really last.

Looking Perfect In Pictures

Other people have issues with the way they look on pictures. When they get ugly shots in their photos, they think they are very ugly after all.

One must remember that cameras are not perfect too and it only captures 2D of the real you. Sometimes to look our best at photos we need to exert a lot of effort and really prepare for it. Since most of the time, some pictures are stolen so there are chances that you would have a worst angle or look of yourself. However, it does not mean that we are ugly with those few photos when we have good looking pictures at the same time.

Physical Flaws

If you watch too much TV and makes celebrities and commercial models as your point of comparison you would surely find so much physical flaws on yourself. The media is the one that dictates what’s beautiful and what is not. However, in reality even the celebrities we admire also have physical flaws and when they are not on spotlight they also look plain and looks very much the same with anyone else. You would then realized that it’s just because of all the effects of makeup, cosmetics and surgeries that they achieve that almost perfect features, perfect skin and perfect body.

So, what are these physical flaws that we are complaining? Most of us have problems about our skin acne and skin color. This makes us less confident of ourselves and we feel horrible about our skin problems. Others have problems with their figure; they are either too fat or too skinny. Others complain about their facial symmetry or the shape of the bones of their face including the height of their nose. We also worry about the shape of our eyes, lips, nose and ears as well as the texture of our hair.

Flirting and Laws of Attraction

When it comes to flirting and laws of attraction, attractive looking people do have a lot of advantage than their plain looking counterparts. Perhaps this is the real purpose of beauty, it acts like bait. When you see a beautiful person there is a higher chance that your head will turn back and have a second look. It’s normal for humans to value beauty the same way that we appreciate the beauty of nature and creation.

However, physical looks are really superficial, it creates good first impression but there are really so many things to discover in a person than his or her looks. One can look angelic on the outside but in the inside a monster could be hiding. But it is not always the case, there are people too that does not look good and also does not have good heart or a completely evil person.

We cannot deny the fact that beauty and appearance is important. So now it’s still important to focus on beauty but also focus on other aspect of your personality. If you think you are not beautiful, don’t regret that and you can help yourself by believing and feeling good about yourself. There are many successful people out there who just have average look and even funny look but still make it to the top. Therefore, chance is equal for both the beautiful and not so beautiful to find perfect love.

Gause’s ‘’Competitive Exclusion Principle’’ states that two closely related species competing for the same resources cannot co-exist indefinitely and competitively inferior one will be eliminated eventually. This may be true if resources are limiting, but not otherwise. The species facing competition might evolve mechanisms that promote co-existence rather than exclusion. One such mechanism is resource partitioning. If two species compete for

the same resource, they could avoid competition by choosing, for instance., different times for feeding or different foraging patterns. MacArthur showed that five closely related species of warblers living on the same tree were able to avoid competition and co-exist due to behavorial differences in there foraging activities.

Competition is a process in which the fitness of one species is significantly lowered in presence of another species. The Abingdon tortoise in Galapagos Islands became extinct within a decade after goats were introduced on the island, apparently due to greater browsing efficiency of the goats. Another evidence for occurrence of competition comes from in nature what is called competition release. A species whose distribution is restricted to a small geographical area because of the presence of competitively superior species is found to expand its range dramatically when competing species is removed. Connell’s elegant field experiments showed that on the rocky sea coasts of

Scotland, the larger and competitively superior barnacle Balanus dominates the intertidal area, and excludes the smaller barnacle Chathamalus from that zone. In general, herbivores and plants appear to be more adversely affected by competition than carnivores.
