Since I haven’t updated in a while, I have a ton of updates to bring you.

Another update coming today on new articles and poems added to the PoemofQuotes library:

Short Love Poems – A list of 10 short romantic poems for those who love poetry and those who need an easy read for school.

Love Poems by Classic Poets – This one is pretty obvious. PoemofQuotes has plenty of love poems, but this page puts most of them together quite nicely. Now, not all the love poems are on there (because that would take an incredibly long time), but it is definitely a great place to start if that is what you are into.

Hopefully I have some more things for you guys to look at tomorrow or in a couple days.

TV Quotes Get a New Home

Although I am away from home (and will be for several more weeks), I am still attempting to update the sites as much as possible (on an extremely slow dial-up connection no less).

This update comes as no surprise as PofQ has been increasing its quotes since day one.

New TV shows will be added ASAP, although, who knows when that will be.

To hold you over, here are the TV show quotes currently available.

As another short note, the Poetry Book Recommendations page has been renovated. I have been planning to do this for a while but it is finally completed. Basically, the amount of books is shortened with each having a description and purpose for being there.

After a few weeks of great movies this week cools off quite a bit, at least in my estimation. Which film will be tops? Probably none of these three. However, it is likely one or more will catch the eye of many viewers and have a nice showing in their own right.

The Hangover
A man is getting married, but his groomsmen lose him during their night of drunken misadventures. They try to discover his whereabouts by retracing their steps from the past night.

This film sounds a lot like “Dude Where’s My Car”.

Will Ferrell stars in this comedy about a man who is stuck in a space-time vortex alongside his assistant and a survivalist.

This film sounds funny but looks stupid. Who knows which way it will go.

My Life in Ruins
A woman who is in a crossroads in life sets out to become a tour guide in Greece. As she tries to rediscover her life, she finds herself in many embarrassing and wonderful situations.

This film stars the actress from My Big Fat Greek Wedding and is already being seen as a success internationally, especially Greece.

I’ll make this short since this is about a week late.

Drag Me to Hell
A movie about a woman who is looking to move up at her workplace and is forced to decline a loan extension to an elderly woman. The woman, of course, curses her.

This film has received great reviews but will most likely debut poorly due to the many great films already in theaters.

Pixar’s first animated 3d film. A 78-year-old man sets out to see the world by tying thousands of balloons to his home. A 8-year-old is mistakenly taken along with him and is inadvertently taken along with him for the trip.

5/22/09 Weekend Movie Releases

You can tell summer has begun because of the several weeks of blockbusters. This week, two potential films are coming out which are looking to reach the top of the charts. Although, Terminator Salvation has a large advantage. The only question is, how much will the recent Terminator film make?

Battle of the Smithsonian
Larry Daley goes to the Smithsonian to rescue Jedediah and Octavius who were shipped there by mistake. The idea sounds pretty stupid, but the clips look hilarious. Robin Williams returns as a different, bodyless and horseless Teddy Roosevelt along with Owen Wilson as Jedediah. A great cast with hopefully a funny script.

Terminator Salvation
John Connor attempts to save the last survivors of a nuclear holocaust. After all the time travel, nothing changed. Skynet is as evil as ever and terminators are still alive and seem to be more powerful than ever.

If it wasn’t for Christian Bale, I would see this film as soon as it came to town. Sadly, he is. And no, it isn’t the fact he yelled at the art director, but it is the fact that I think he sucks as an actor.
