The Swingset is Up!

Thanks to Meema, Peepa, Annie Danie and Penelope, our kids now have a new swingset!

Okay, now let me just say that I consider myself pretty handy (although my wife may disagree at times), however, after 12+ hours of coating the wood (2 coats and hundreds of pieces), 2 days of building and leveling (thank you Joe and Hank), I’m so glad that this project is complete!

It is beautiful outside today in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Today’s song is a summertime groove by Speech of Arrested Development. While this is just the music (there is no video for this particular song) I hope it puts a smile on your face and a groove in your step like it does for me.

Today’s song is Wasted on the Way by Crosby, Stills and Nash

I heard this song a few weeks back and it’s stuck! Beautiful song about getting the most out of life, friends and family. Not sure why the crowd felt the need to clap along – maybe Crosby, Stills and Nash were having rhythm issues, um, no, probably not.

With the re-release of Beauty and the Beast, or as we call it at our house… BATB, we had a few moments to snap a few pics with the Lorax, the Chipmunks and Pirates.

If you haven’t seen BATB, it’s pretty good, I think it may stick around for a bit.
