IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE IT WAS WRITTEN BY A YOUNG PERSON - A STUDENT!!! WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I'LL VOTE FOR HIM.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, and Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot, and will not, ever agree on what is right for us all. So. let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to “irreconcilable differences” and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

--Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy. Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

--We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.

--You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.

--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.

--You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

--We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street.

--You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies, and illegal aliens.

--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's, and rednecks.

--We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

--You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.

--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.

--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bills.

--We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

--You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.

--We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

--We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."

--I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kumbaya" or "We Are the World".

--We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle-up poverty your best shot.

--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name, and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

Sincerely,

John J. Wall

Law Student and an American

P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, & Jane Fonda with you.

P.S.S. And, you won't have to press “1” for English when you call our country.

Joint Statement from Governor Jan Brewer, Secretary of State Ken Bennett

Ruling by U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Opens Door to Voter Registration Fraud

The Ninth Circuit Court Appeals has struck down a simple, common sense protection approved by Arizona voters requiring that all individuals provide evidence of U.S. citizenship prior to registering to vote. This decision is an outrage and a slap in the face to all Arizonans who care about the integrity of their elections.

Arizona voters approved this critical election-security requirement in 2004. We have been vigorously defending its constitutionality and the will of Arizona voters. This law has previously been upheld at every level and by every court, including the 9th Circuit, despite numerous lawsuits and challenges filed by activist groups.

Today’s decision should not impact the election on Tuesday, but could impact our registration requirements and the integrity of local elections being conducted beginning as early as this spring, as well as statewide elections in 2012.

That simply cannot be tolerated. Arizona voters have made their will crystal clear – non-citizens do not have the right to vote. GOP candidate: I can't rule out violence

Texan Stephen Broden says there needs to be a change at the top

By MELANIE MASON Dallas Morning News

Oct. 22, 2010, 9:49AM

WASHINGTON – Republican congressional candidate Stephen Broden stunned his party Thursday, saying he would not rule out violent overthrow of the government if elections did not produce a change in leadership.

In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising "is not the first option," but it is "on the table." That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks "inappropriate."

Broden, a first-time candidate, is challenging veteran incumbent Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson in Dallas' heavily Democratic 30th Congressional District. Johnson's campaign declined to comment on Broden.

In the interview, Brad Watson, political reporter for WFAA-TV (Channel 8), asked Broden about a tea party event last year in Fort Worth in which he described the nation's government as tyrannical.

"We have a constitutional remedy," Broden said then. "And the Framers say if that don't work, revolution."

Hugo Chavez Foreign Tour Against US 'Imperialism' Includes Visits to Iran, Syria

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has arrived in Syria for talks with his Syrian counterpart, Bashar al-Assad, the latest stop on a foreign tour intended to counter what he calls U.S. imperialism.

Synopsis

Since its inception, Al Qaeda and its affiliates have carried out terrorist attacks in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Conspicuously absent from the list of locales in which it has killed and maimed innocents is Latin America, often considered the possible “last frontier of international terrorism.” Although Al Qaeda has yet to strike in the region, it has not been for a lack of interest; indeed, South and Central America would appear to offer the network an ideal staging ground given its attractive brew of lawless frontiers, anti-U.S. sentiments, expatriate Arab communities, robust narcotics industry, and homegrown rebel movements. Perhaps the greatest attraction of Al Qaeda to Latin America is the region’s geographic proximity to the United States and the prospect that its porous southern border holds for again hitting “the Great Satan” on its very own soil.

Lying at the epicenter of militant Islamist activity in Latin America is an area known as the Tri-Border Region, a veritable no-man’s land where the borders of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina converge and where tens of thousands of illegal Muslim immigrants live, among them many Lebanese. Surrounded by unpatrolled waterways and unregulated and hidden airfields, the area—known for its lax border security—has become the perfect hub for smuggling, document forgery, and weapons and narcotics trafficking. Radical Islamist outfits, including Hamas and Hezbollah, have been active across the region, exploiting its unregulated financial networks and free trade zones to engage in various money laundering schemes. Estimates have varied on the extent of the illicit cash funneled back by operatives to their parent organizations in the Middle East, but approximations have put the annual figure in the tens of millions. While there is also concern that Al Qaeda may seek to form an unholy union with drug cartels for similar purposes, there is little evidence to date that it has forged such alliances, though a lack of ideological kinship does not seem to be an impediment. (Nor, for that matter, do sectarian considerations appear to preclude cooperation in Latin America, although there is no proof of an Al Qaeda-Hezbollah nexus at present either.)

The Tri-Border Region is not the only area in Latin America where Al Qaeda may try to establish a foothold: Venezuela’s Margarita Island and southern Colombia’s ungoverned expanses could also provide Osama bin Laden’s global network with ample opportunities to set up shop. The U.S. Government has already detailed explicit cases of business owners on Margarita Island funneling money to Hezbollah. In southern Colombia, Arab Muslims—many of whom are of Lebanese, Palestinian, or Syrian descent and immigrated to Latin America in the 1960s and 1970s—constitute a small portion of the population, but recent immigrants to the country have tended to exhibit more religiosity than previous generations of their kinfolk.

Although the radicalization of Latin America’s Muslim community, including many new converts, may be a long-term goal of Al Qaeda—there has been a noticeable proliferation of Salafist mosques in Latin America since the early 1990s and an increasing proselytization campaign on the part of Wahhabi and Saudi-funded nongovernmental organizations like the World Assembly for Muslim Youth—the most immediate threat posed by the group is more likely to come in the form of its exploitation of Latin America’s loosely-regulated financial institutions, easy access to forged identification documents, and the drug trade to raise funds for the group’s operations. Despite Al Qaeda’s history of raising funds through the narcotics industry, no proof currently exists that Al Qaeda has entered into any marriage of convenience with movements such as FARC, the oldest insurgent group in the Western Hemisphere that currently controls large swaths of Colombian territory and survives off the narcotics industry.

To date, the strongest potential Al Qaeda link to Latin America has been Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, a Saudi pilot and known Al Qaeda operative. Though the mastermind of 9-11, Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, is believed to also have spent time in the region—he once encouraged alleged dirty bomber Jose Padilla to enter the United States by way of Puerto Rico or Mexico—concerns over an Al Qaeda presence there truly rose to the fore in June 2004, when Honduran authorities spotted Shukrijumah in Tegucigalpa and accused him of forging links to some of Central America’s most notorious and brutal criminal street gangs—gangs that also operate many of the smuggling routes between Mexico and the United States. Shukrijumah, Jose Padilla’s onetime accomplice in an Al Qaeda plot to simultaneously blow up apartment buildings in various U.S. cities, is also thought to have spent time in Panama prior to 9-11 conducting surveillance of the Panama Canal.

Wood also revoked Mendez’s probation for a prior burglary of a habitation conviction from her court, giving him five years for that charge.

Because his sentences will run concurrently, Mendez could be paroled in 9-1/2 years, the minimum he will have to serve because he used a deadly weapon. Without that enhancement, he could have been eligible for parole in about five years, a quarter of his longest sentence.

Ligon, as well as HPD and Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are angry that Wood didn’t give Mendez, of Porter, an illegal immigrant, a stiffer sentence.
Read the intelligence article and there is a link for PDF version of the mag at the bottom. Amazing how many born and educated in US.

http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/25449

The authors also collectively appear to understand the politics and current divisiveness within the U.S., even taking a swipe at Arizona’s attempts to secure its southern border by the passage of a state law that will take effect at the end of this month.

Interestingly, in an article written by Anwar al-Awlaki titled “Shaykh Anwar’s Message to the American People and Muslims in the West, he complains about Barack Hussein Obama’s attempts to disassociate the murderous actions of Nidal Hassan at Fort Hood from the Muslim religion.

”[The Obama] administration, tried to portray the operation of brother Nidal Hassan, as an individual act of violence from an estranged individual. The administration practiced a control on the leak of information concerning the operation in order to cushion the reaction of the American public. Until this moment the administration is refusing to release the emails exchanged between myself and Nidal. And after the operation of our brother Umar al-Faruq the initial comments coming from the administration were looking the same: another attempt at covering up the truth.”

Magazine “is proof positive that al-Qaeda and its affiliates have launched a direct appeal for Americans to launch small-scale attacks here at home.”

According to U.S. Representative Pete Hoekstra, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, the magazine “is proof positive that al-Qaeda and its affiliates have launched a direct appeal for Americans to launch small-scale attacks here at home.”

Based on our analysis, we certainly agree.

A final commentary concerning the man behind Inspire, an English language terrorist tool: Anwar al-Awlaki. Born in 1971 in New Mexico while his father was in the United States on a diplomatic posting from Yemen, al-Awlaki holds an engineering degree from Colorado State University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Education from San Diego State University. He attended George Washington University for a PhD in Human Resource Development on a scholarship provided by the Ministry of Education in Yemen. He fraudulently received $20,000 in scholarship money from a U.S. government program for his schooling in Fort Collins, Colorado by misrepresenting himself as an international student.

From 1996-2000, he was the Iman at the Rabat mosque in San Diego, California, which was the “spiritual"home to two of the 9/11 hijackers. While in San Diego, he was twice arrested for soliciting prostitutes in August 1996 and April 1997. Previously, he had been in contact with an associate of “blind sheik”Omar Abdel Rahman, the terror leader whose followers were convicted of the 1993 bombing attack of the World Trade Center. He had direct ties to the Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia. The Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center has been described in official U.S. reports (Traveler Enforcement Compliance System [TECS] reports) as having been “under numerous investigations for financing and [providing] aid and comfort to bad [organizations] and members, and as “a mosque operating as a front for Hamas operatives in [the] U.S.”

About a week after the attacks of 9/11, al-Awlaki was in the hands of investigators, being questioned about his terror ties. A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2002, and investigators had him in custody at JFK Airport that October. In other words, we had Anwar al-Awlaki, and could have prevented him from his facilitation of terror. The magazine Inspire might never have been published. More importantly, many American citizens might still be alive.

At the direction of David M. Gaouette, a former assistant U.S. attorney in Colorado in 2002, the warrant was pulled, most likely at the direction of the former administration or the Department of Justice. Investigation reveals that at the time al-Awlaki was about to be arrested, he was reportedly working at the Saudi Embassy under the protection of then Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar (bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud), husband of Princess Haifa bint Faisal. Haifa bint Faisal indirectly funded at least two of the 9/11 hijackers.

In 2008, David M. Gaouette was appointed by the Obama administration to the position of U.S. Attorney in Denver within the Holder Justice Department. Prince Bandar was elevated to the position of Secretary-General of the National Security Council in Saudi Arabia. A headless man was found in a Chandler apartment, and a drinking buddy has been arrested in his death and decapitation.

The victim, who has not been identified, and the suspect, Crisantos Moroyoqui, who is in the country illegally, had been drinking together at 4:30 a.m. Sunday. At 5:30 a.m., some men who had fallen asleep in the apartment awoke to find the man's beheaded body in a large pool of blood, according to police reports.
Most gangs in Texas call Houston region home

Intelligence report puts members in the area at more than 10,000
HOUSTON CHRONICLE

Oct. 10, 2010, 4:24PM

Violent gangs and drug traffickers in the Houston area are growing stronger and more international, spreading into the suburbs as they bulk up on newfound connections with Mexico's lucrative and brazen organized crime syndicates.

The region is home to far more gang members than anywhere in Texas, according to the National Gang Threat Assessment.

As of this year, there were 225 documented gangs roaming the area, according to intelligence reports, the biggest being the "Houstones," with at least 2,233 members that have been confirmed by police.

Their soldiers alone equate to about 43 percent of the number of Houston police officers.

"Due to their sheer numbers, they (gangs) have a propensity to create a large number and wide variety of criminal acts," according to a report reviewed by the Houston Chronicle and compiled by the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, a coalition of law-enforcement agencies that stretches from here to the coastal counties, an area that includes 6 million people.

Those criminal acts include home invasions, robbery, kidnapping, murder, extortion, money laundering and drug trafficking at a level alarming even to law enforcement.

"As gang members and drug traffickers become more violent and brazen, they pose a rising threat to law enforcement now and in the future," notes the report, which states that gang recruitment is at an all-time high.

"Gangs now have a younger, more violent membership."

Gang membership in the United States was conservatively estimated at 1 million members as of September 2008, based on analysis of federal, state, and local law enforcement reporting--an increase from an estimated 800,000 members in 2005. Current estimates include approximately 900,000 gang members residing within local communities across the country and more than 147,000 documented gang members incarcerated in federal, state, and local correctional facilities, according to state and federal corrections data. Increased gang membership is most likely the result of gang recruitment efforts and the release of incarcerated gang members

I told you before that I was one of the administrators on the FB page. This requires me to keep the over 12,000 members up to date on news.

Normally I just print what is in the local Houston news, but today I ventured to the Texas, New Mexico Border. 10 minutes in and posting on our page, I realized that the problem is so bad, that trying to do a National story is impossible. The problem has reached epidemic proportions.

Having served in 2 wars, Viet Nam and Iraq, I actually felt safer over there. Mexico, Central America, and some of South America will fall. The question is will we do something to stop us from falling also. The actors who are brining down those countries are already in this country by the millions.

Just look at Texas alone. For that matter, just look at any city alone.

Example: Houston Over 200 different gangs, 20,000 members

This Texas report is 3 years old and if it doesn't make you think, you have your head in the sand.

Moscow, Russian Federation (AHN) – Russia has announced plans to supply enriched uranium to Mexico. Russian Federal Atomic Agency Rosatom’s Head Sergei Kirienko disclosed that they were considering selling $20 billion worth of uranium by the end of this year through export contracts.

The deal will include uranium supplies to Mexico, Switzerland and South Africa, of which the latter two have already signed the contracts.

Kirienko added that a U.S. firm called Nukem Inc. would act as a mediator between Russian exporter of nuclear materials OJSC Tekhsnabexport and Mexican company in supplying Russian uranium production. Kirienko’s comments came during a meeting of the Russian Government’s Presidium on Tuesday. The contract is expected to satisfy Mexico’s enriched uranium demands.

Rosatom head also considered this year important for his company as it made significant entry to the U.S. market. Tekhsnabexport has already inked $3 billion worth of contracts with American companies and Kirienko hoped that the figure should reach beyond $4 billion by the end of this year

http://blogs.chron.com/immigration/archives/2010/09/fingerprint_che_1.html

All 254 Texas counties are now signed up for the federal government's Secure Communities program, which automatically checks the immigration history of suspects booked into jail.

Texas is the first state in the country to have all of its counties on board with the program, which was first launched in Harris County's jail in 2008.

ICE says the program has led to more than 56,000 deportations of illegal immigrants nationwide, including more than 16,000 in Texas. In Harris County, the system led to the removals of more than 8,000 illegal immigrants, including more than 1,800 people ICE classified as "aggravated felons."

But critics of the program say that along with hardened criminals, Secure Communities has swept up minor offenders and people without any criminal records.

Since the program launched in 2008, only about 12,000 (20 percent) of the 56,000 illegal immigrants identified and subsequently removed using the system nationally were classified by ICE as "aggravated felons," as defined under immigration law. During the same timeframe, the system led to removals of more than 14,000 non-criminals.

NOGALES, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - FBI agents have arrested the mayor of Nogales on charges of corruption, money laundering and fraud.

A spokeswoman for the city of Nogales told KGUN9 News that several agents arrested Mayor Octavio Garcia-Von Borstel in his office this morning.

A short time later, the office of Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard issued a statement confirming the arrest. The statement read in part, "'Today's arrest of Mayor Van Borstel has been a collaborative effort with the FBI's Southern Arizona Corruption Task Force and the Arizona Attorney General's Office," stated Nathan T. Gray, FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Division. 'When a public official allegedly commits criminal acts it erodes the public's trust. The FBI and our law enforcement partners are determined to address public corruption at all levels of government.'"

According to the press release, agents began investigating Garcia-Von Borstel five months ago. The release stated that mayor was "soliciting Nogales businesses to hire him as a business consultant as early as February 2009. At least one business admitted to the FBI that it was paying the mayor to use his official position to obtain business contracts and, specifically, to obtain new City of Nogales contracts, circumventing either open bidding or proper application processes

In a flabbergasting request, a coalition of Mexican lawmakers has asked the United States to stop deporting illegal immigrants who have been convicted of serious crimes in American courts.

The preposterous demand was made at a recent southern California conference in which the mayors of four Mexican cities that border the U.S. gathered to discuss cross-border issues. The only American mayor who attended the biannual event was San Diego’s Jerry Sanders, evidently because his city hosted it this year at a fancy downtown hotel.

The number of major cities times number of gang members plus the amount of drugs and guns for each. I bet it is a gigantic number.

Experts say the Houston area has more than 200 gangs with 10,000 members. Almost half of their criminal activity is related to drugs.
Now what is the name of that firm that takes homes away from deployed military who does tax collections all over Texas? Heck, Blair owns some of that bank.
Montgomery County Judge Alan Sadler's businesses log almost $300K in unpaid debts, Sadler cites "tough economic times."

By Steve Miller

Three Houston business enterprises connected to Montgomery County Judge Alan B. Sadler have racked up nearly $300,000 in unpaid property tax debt for 2008 and 2009, records show.

Most of the debt has been amassed through Development II Partners, a company Sadler started in 2007 with partner Aslam Kapadia, records show. Filing documents show the two divide ownership equally.

Records also show unpaid taxes through Kapadia Sadler Development and Sadler Kapadia Investments, partnerships owned by the two men.

The company debt is spread throughout five counties; Hays, Galveston, Harris, Grimes, Henderson and Fort Bend. The amounts range from $13,335 in Harris County, to $113,010 in Galveston County, which includes $34,219 in penalties.

“Let me be forthright. These are tough economic times,” said Sadler, who is running for a sixth term in one of the state’s fastest growing counties. “We are paying on this.”

In Henderson County, Kapadia Sadler Development owes $62,222 on 10 properties, records show. In Grimes County, Development II Partners is $39,170 in arrears on three properties. In Fort Bend County, the tax bill is $29,616 including $28,328 owed by Sadler Kapadia Investments.

Court records in Harris County show three active tax cases against Development II Partners. Among the plaintiffs are Harris County and the City of Katy. All three were filed in August.

Gas stations and convenience stores are the primary enterprise of Sadler and Kapadia’s ventures, all headquartered at a ground floor office at 10101 Southwest Freeway in Houston, state filings show.

They jointly own 19 properties, Sadler said, and all are for sale.

“We are moving toward a positive outcome on this, and we are on active negotiations to sell all of the properties," he said.

Hurricane Ike knocked many of his Galveston County properties offline when it roiled through in 2008, he added, and five stores were closed for at least four months.

Sadler, a Montgomery County native son who was a bank executive before being elected judge in 1990, won the Republican primary in March by 14,000 votes and is opposed in November by Adrian Heath, an independent who will be working uphill to unseat the longstanding incumbent.

The fiscal problems are not the first for Sadler and his business endeavors. A year ago a local watchdog operation in Montgomery County found federal and state tax liens filed against Development II Partners.

In April Texas Watchdog reported that Sadler received a $500 donation from Kapadia, who was accused in a federal indictment of being part of a money laundering ring. Kapadia pleaded guilty to a single charge in April.

The case was finalized earlier this month, and the verdict is sealed. A call to the U.S. attorney’s office was not returned.

Kapadia is free, although he did not return calls.

Sadler was a bank executive in Houston before being elected in 1990. He is a director on the board of the First Bank of Conroe.

Money magazine in 2008 named Montgomery County as one of the best in the U.S. for job growth. Its population has grown 52 percent in the past decade
