“Senate Democrats have now received an updated version of the GOP’s bill text. That includes new language in the Senate Homeland Security and Judiciary titles of the package, according to sources familiar with the process.”

“But the latest text Democrats received didn’t include new language on $1 billion in security funding for President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project. The Senate parliamentarian ruled over the weekend that a portion of the bill didn’t comply with reconciliation rules. Senate GOP leaders were already reworking the language at that point and plan to continue as needed.”
