“Ms. Nixon defeated Alex Vindman, a former national security official who was a top witness in President Trump’s first impeachment trial. His entry was largely welcomed by Democratic Party leaders hoping to make Florida at least competitive this fall. He far out-raised Ms. Nixon and had been seen as the clear front-runner in the race.”

Voters went to the polls today in Florida, Wyoming and Alaska, with several important races that could help shape the November midterms. There’s also a special congressional election in California to fill the seat for former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA).

Said Ossoff: “I don’t think anything illustrates the times more aptly than that the draft-dodging, crook president, who has plunged our nation recklessly into a war he knows not how to end or to win, tried to imprison this man, who embodies American heroism.”
