Il primo muffin è come il primo bacio, non si scorda mai!
Un luglio bollente, Londra, 16 anni, un caschetto rosso fuoco e tutta l'energia del mondo racchiusa in uno scricciolo, un inglese sbilenco e un dolcetto mai visto prima che attrae la mia curiosità, punto quella specie di fungo con l'indice seguito da un cafè au lait e da un please!

E' facile dire food blog, ma poi quando si va a sviscerare la questione ci si accorge che ci sono migliaia di sfaccettature, e ahimè, non tutte sono lati brillanti, ci sono deludenti zone grigie.

E di colpo arriva l'autunno vero, quello di novembre dove inizia a far freddo, con quell'aria frizzante che stuzzica  le narici.
Mi piace passeggiare per le viuzze del centro come se fosse primavera, scorgere qualche timida e solitaria  lucina già accesa, preludio del Natale che si avvicina.

Anche se non lo ammetto agli altri, e in fondo anche a me stessa, spesso mi manca casa, e mi mancano gli affetti, le mie cose. Qua mi sento a mio agio, ma so di essere una straniera che prima o poi andrà via, che ritornerà sui suoi passi e a ritroso ritornerà nel posto assegnatole dal destino.

Quando La Cucina Italiana mi ha comunicato che avrei fatto parte delle 25 blogger scelte per partecipare al Desco a Lucca, sono stata davvero felicissima, ma non nascondo che per un pò di giorni anche molto preoccupata, perchè ero entrata nel pallone e non sapevo cosa preparare per essere all'altezza della situazione, soprattutto dopo aver conosciuto i nomi delle altre blogger

Il baccalà è parte fondamentale della cucina lucana, tanto che a fine agosto nel paese di Avigliano si tiene una sagra tutta a lui dedicata.
E tra "strettole", viuzze, scalini si trovano in ogni angolo deliziosi piatti a base di baccalà.

Chi crede ancora che il sogno di ogni donna sia un uomo, il matrimonio e la casa nella prateria si sbaglia, e di grosso!
Il sogno di noi donne è mangiare senza ingrassare! E ovviamente quando dico mangiare intendo proprio mangiare come si deve: dolci, pizze, pasta e fritture, perchè della carotina lessa ne faremmo volentieri a meno.

Finalmente è arrivata la pioggia.
Il grigio intorno esiste per esaltare meglio gli altri colori, per i particolari.
Il rombo del tuono sottolinea il silenzio.
La malinconia è solo uno spazio di libertà tra il mostrar gioia e il dovere di essere felici.


E adesso come se nulla fosse, del tutto slegata dal resto, ecco la mia vellutata.

TORTINO DI ALICI E MELANZANE

Ingredienti:
- alici
- melanzane
- salsa di ciliegino Agromonte
- scamorza a dadini
- parmigiano reggiano grattugiato
- cipolla
-basilico
- sale
- olio evo monovarietale lucano Calandrone

Lo so è autunno, e al mercato dovrei trovare le zucche, e ancora invece trovo i fiori.
Non ho resistito e li ho presi, loro così belli, colorati, grandi.

Ed ecco il post che sancisce l'inizio delle vacanze mie, del blog e dei fornelli! E spero anche vostre, perchè un pò di meritato riposo fa bene a tutti!

Dopo il grande successo ottenuto dalle polpettine greche ( trovate la ricetta qui), ho deciso di continuare a cavalcare l'onda, e di preparare un cartoccio, tanto semplice quanto gustoso, con la feta.



FETA AL CARTOCCIO

Ingredienti (per un cartoccio):
- 100 g di feta in un'unica fetta
- 1 fetta di pomodoro
- 1 sfoglia sottile di cipolla
- 4 olive nere
- origano
- pepe
