why I still shoot film

I love digital photography but I still shoot film for special pictures.

Compare these two images, which is film and which is digital?

Both do the job but I can see the difference. I can see positives in both but I know which I prefer.

What do you think?

All the King's Horses

All the King's Horses and all the the King's men and women came down to Polzeath for some fun. Never taken photographs of horses before but enjoyed taking these.

Surf and warm weather for the Jess Memorial

They'll be a small wave over the weekend for the Jess Memorial and really warm weather.

If you surf then why not enter, no matter what you level you are as it's all for the children's charity CHICKS. You register from 9pm at Wavehunters. Entry fee for adults is £15 and juniors £10. There's also a sandcastle competition at 11:30.

At the end of the day its all upto the Waterfront where they will have a live band from 6pm. Tickets £10

I think everybodys noticed that theres been less holiday makers here in Polzeath this summer just gone, as it looks as if the recession is set to continue. It's not unsurprising then that plenty of surfers have opted to use our Surfboard Ding Repair & Intermediate to Expert Surfboard Hire services to make sure they keep they're existing equipment in good condition or to hire alternative boards when the surf conditions aren't right for surfboards they have.

Half way through the summer we added a couple of things to help you all further, which we've now decided to extend. And that's

2. We've discounted a whole heap of surfboards and have put online all the Second surfboards we have. Check the Surf Store SALEs department and get a bargain add to your quiver.

Here you can find more easily all the Second-hand surfboards and offers on stock that we currently have.

If you're one of those who's lucky enough to have put back a few a pennies then Autumn is traditionally that time of year when we feel we haven't had enough summer to see us through the year so it's time to book a surf trip to warmer climates.
