Thick fog this morning but I think there are some nice waves 2 stars

Polzeath Surf Report 7.15: Actually too foggy to be able to tell you what is going on. It is high tide right now and there is only a very light wind, the waves look to be about waist to chest high, could be a bit bigger not sure. The fog will clear this morning as the wind although staying light in strength will swing in direction and come from the North. With low tide at about 1.30 I would think that surfing will be fun this afternoon as the tide gives a bit more push to the waves. Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: It’s looking quite nice this morning with a small clean swell coming in sets of about waist high. There is a light frost this morning but the air temp is at about 2 degrees. The wind is supposed to be blowing from the South West but at the moment it is very light and appears to be offshore, I guess that will change as the day goes on. Low water will be at about 10.30 and high tide this evening at 4.30. On your way to the beach, drop in and grab a different board to try short boarders will love the 5-8 Funk and the Vulture 5-11 or 6-1, and for those looking to down size from Mini-mals or mals we have a selection of Peanuts. Cold onshore wind, rubbbbish 1 star only

Polzeath Surf Report 8.15: Yesterday the wind was blowing from the South West today it’s coming from the North West, the result is the same: the surf is knackered. Coupled with that, the chill factor is very obvious, as we appear to have lost about 6 degrees in air temp, so I’m not sure that there will be many takers for what’s on offer today. Low tide will be at about 10 and high tide this afternoon at 3.45pm. The tide is fairly neap so you can surf all the way through if you really want to, you may find the conditions at Harlyn a little more interesting. Shoulder high onshore not good 1 star

Polzeath Surf Report 7.40: Sadly the surfing conditions are not good again today. There is a strong cross onshore wind blowing up waves of maybe shoulder high as you ride them, the period is very tight and the paddle out would be ‘up hill’ as you fight both wind and wave. Low tide will be at 8.40 and I would guess that as the tide pushes in the wave size may increase slightly and maybe they will also become slightly more organised, but as we move towards high tide at 2.40 the conditions will again deteriorate. The wind is going to swing from South West to North West this afternoon, and become colder. Ultimately you may prefer to check out other more sheltered surf breaks but I think you may struggle to find anything of quality on the North coast. Small onshore rubbish no stars

Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: Sorry guys but it really is pants today, small waves, onshore wind, no shape no power. High tide will be at around midday with low tide this evening at 6.30. The outlook for the weekend is not great as far as the surf conditions here are concerned as the main feature will be the strong onshore wind which arrives on Saturday. Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: Still featuring a strong cross shore wind which has driven the swell we have, there are some faces of waist to chest high, but the space between the waves is very tight so there will not a load of power in the waves. High tide will be this morning at 10.30 with low water this evening at 5.00. The surf conditions are not going to be classic here today but you’ll get a ride if you are patient and desperate. Cross shore waist to chest high tight period 2.5 stars

Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: The cross shore North wind has reduced in strength a little overnight, but it is still making it’s presents felt. The waves are about waist to chest high with a tight period but there are some faces worth having a go on. High tide will be at 9.30 with low tide this afternoon at 4.00pm. Expect the waves to get slightly bigger as the day goes on and the wind will swing more onshore during the next 48 hours. Check out the video surf report on our Facebook page. Onshore small, cold and grey, half a star

Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: The strong North-Northwesterly wind has complexly screwed the waves up, there’s no size or shape so frankly don’t bother at least until maybe this afternoon. The wind is going to increase in strength and thus the size of the swell will be augmented but it will still be of the onshore variety. High water will be this morning at 8.45 with low tide this afternoon at 3.00. I’ll up load a video report on to our Facebook page. Grey sky, cold rain, chopped up waist high, 2 stars

Polzeath Surf Report 8.45: Cold with a bit of sleety rain and grey sky. Waves of about waist to chest high chopped up by the onshore wind. Low water will be at 2.30 ish. Not as classic as yesterday but still worth it if you’ve got a bigger wider board to use. The beginning of the week is going to feature Northerly winds which are going to be strong from tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday. I’m going to post a video surf report onto our Facebook page. Waist high fun for all 3 stars

Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: Nice looking waves despite it being very much high tide right now. As the tide goes out the swell should become more lined up as the offhshore wind grooms the faces to a steep finish. Low tide will be at 1.45 and as the tide pushes we should get a little more power. All beaches on the North coast will be working today, with the bigger more exposed breaks offering a bit more size and power, Watergate, Constantine, Fistral , Perranporth, etc. Tomorrow not looking quite so good at the moment but still a small swell and although the wind will be blowing from a more Northerly direction there should still be enough to please the weekend warriors amongst you.
