Issues and Update

2012-01-04T19:21:00.000-08:00

Well I finished the scrip for the first episode of Blast From the Past and sat down to record the game footage. about 12 hours later I realized my recording stopped at the 3 hour point and I lost 9 hours of footage. For this reason the first episode wont be out for some time. However I am also in the works of doing a 10 part review of one of the worst RPGs of all time and hope to have part one out in a few months. As for my minimalist pony art, I am still working on it but I have upgraded Photoshop and it took longer then it should have for me to get a hold of Adobe and get the student discount, but yesterday I finally got an E-mail from them and now can use Photoshop and will have my next piece out by the 15th

Plans for this blog and explanation for slowdown

2011-11-29T04:44:00.000-08:00

I have plans to change up this blog a lot by adding more then just my minimalist artwork, I would like to have blast from the past a monthly show once it gets rolling and I want to have more artist post there work here as well. You may have noticed a slow down in my posting recently and i think that deserves an explanation. First off I am currently writing the script for episode 1 of Blast From the Past. Second, all of my future art projects are going to have more work put into them. Third, I have bin really busy with school and family and probably will be until the holidays are over. I would like to get one more pony done before Christmas but no promises. So until then I hope you all have a happy holiday.

Mr. Cake

2011-11-18T14:07:00.000-08:00

Here is my newest minimalist piece. For Mr. Cake I wanted to do something slightly different so I chose to just do a outline and have the background color his mane color. I also took his cutie mark and included it in the image.

Pony RP adventure

2011-11-16T19:45:00.000-08:00

I am putting together a online pony RP (role playing) game. If you are interested in joining leave your Skype name and a summary of your pony persona.

AppleJack

2011-10-27T08:13:00.000-07:00

Look and behold AppleJack has arrived. I went with AppleJack because I find her color pallet one of the most pleasing to look at. This time I took what i learned for my previous pieces and apply them, like the hay stalk form big mac and the hat Bareburn. I know that three of my current five pieces are from the Apple family, The reason being is again that I am fond of there color pallet. However I hope to move past this Apple family fondness and branch out to more border pieces in the future. Until then hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment and share.

Blast From The Past

2011-10-17T14:23:00.000-07:00

I would like to stray away from only doing art, so I have decided that I would take a look at games that I loved as a child and see how they are later in my life. will they be just as I remembered or will it be a horrible disappointment.

For my first look back I will being doing the Sly Cooper series.

Every bit of feed back helps please leave any and all comments on this idea.

DJ-PON3

2011-10-11T17:57:00.000-07:00

Here is my next piece requested by Cake Patell.
For DJ-PON3 I went with a simple recolor of her brief appearance in the show. I have future plans to redo this in a much bigger way. Since I was away for when I made this I had to use pain instead of Photoshop.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated for my future projects.

Requests

2011-10-11T14:21:00.000-07:00

Hello everypony if there is a character that you would like for me to make please leave the name of it in the comments.

Bareburn

2011-10-07T16:19:00.000-07:00

For Bareburn I decided to have more of his head in the image because of the look of his unique mane. I also chose not to tilt his head due to the curve of his neck and chose to leave off part of it so if it because the fade into the body would be distracting.

Big Mac

2011-10-06T19:54:00.000-07:00

I'm back for my second piece and this time i decided to go with Big Mac one of my personal Favorite characters. I chose the same style as i did with Dr. Whooves for the same type of effect.

Dr. Whooves

2011-10-06T19:52:00.000-07:00

Hello everypony this is my first fan art and i hope to continue my work. For my first piece decided to go with Dr. Whooves, who is my Favorite background character due to the fact that I am a Dr. Who fan. I chose i simple style and chose to leave out detail in order to get a clearer idea on how the head is shaped. Then i decided to add in a closed eye in order to show a simple expression and emotion without taking away from the shape.
