Responsible in assigned units for identifying and meeting patients psychosocial and post-hospital needs related to illness and hospitalization, spanning all age groups and disease entities. Facilitates the safe movement of the patient through the continuum of care, while ensuring appropriate utilization of acute and post hospital services. Represents department as member of specialized team and in professional organizations. Provides group services and education. Act as department liaison with community social and health services. Participates in department activities and programs. Maintains accountability and performs administrative and other tasks specified by director.

Manager Rehab Registration/FT - Days

Responsible to assess, plan, implement and manage all aspects of the business for the Davis Center for rehabilitation, including but not limited to all insurance verification, admissions, registration, payment collection for inpatients and outpatients of the rehabilitation department. Maintains understanding of all regulatory and legal requirements applicable to rehabilitation services and considers these parameters as well as JCAHO, CARF and other payor standards in managing the department. Plans and develops the budget for the business administration of the Davis Center for Rehabilitation. Keeps abreast and maintains good relationships with peer business administration of the Davis center for Rehabilitation. Keeps abreast and maintains good relationships with peer business managers in the community and hospitals, as well as, those in physician offices. Responds in a timely manner, and positively resolves patient, visitor and physician complaints. Functions with limited supervision, demonstrates leadership abilities and utilizes independent and collaborative input into decision making.
