Hi, folks --
After several years here with LiveJournal I've decided to move the Poopsheet blog (only out of convenience, really, because I've got a blog built into my site).

The new blog is at the Poopsheet Foundation and for those who use readers outside of LiveJournal the feed is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/poopsheetcommunityblog

Speaking of that, if there's anybody who'd like to create a syndicated feed of it here at LiveJournal I'd appreciate it greatly. That way our LJ pals could still follow along here (the Friends page is my very favorite feature). If you're able to do that please drop me a line.

2) Been to www.poopsheetfoundation.com lately?

The main site was relaunched earlier this year as a mini-comics history archive with articles, bibliographies, a cover gallery and more. The mini-comics community at large is welcomed with open arms!

I've been tweaking the site a bit recently in order to make it more interactive – sort of a self-contained social-networking-site-slash-history-archive. The whole site is visible to anyone so it's not necessary to register but registered members do have the ability to post in the blog, upload photos, comment on articles, etc. We'd love to see you there (and please drop by the forums and say hello!). Suggestions for site improvement are always welcome.

Recent site updates include new resources added to the Links page, updates to "Comix World Newsletter Logo Artists" and two new photo albums ("Reviewzines" and "Reference Publications"). Lots more on the way!

3) Got comics to sell?

If you've got comics or related items you're ready to part with please drop me a line! I'm always interested in mini-comics of all decades (and related items), especially whole collections or large lots. But I'm also interested in underground comix, fanzines, alternative comics, portfolios, art zines, and more (even some mainstream comics).

I've also got a large tradelist (over 1300 items at the moment) if you'd like to exchange goodies. That list is here.

On a related note, one area of the Shop I'd like to expand is original art sales (alternative, UG, mini-comics, mainstream, etc). Got art to sell? Let's talk!

(Midnight Fiction)

This title of Bob Vojtko's actually goes back to 1979 and has the distinction of never having been published twice by the same publisher. The previous four issues' publishers, in order, were Artie Romero's Everyman Studios, Clay Geerdes' Comix World, Brad Foster's Jabberwocky Graphix and Jim Ryan's Anarchaos. Anyway, this new issue's got wacky bug-themed comics by Bob Vojtko (Low Budget Funnies) and Richard Krauss (Midnight Fiction).
