In fact, it has become a big household name. It's not in my nature to criticise a man's hard work but with M.I's repertoire, this is quite disappointing. I am a great fan of Jude but this did not catch my feelings at all. I can not even remember anything in the song after three listens. This remains the biggest song of 2 Baba’s career. It was a known fact that back then almost if not all Kennis Music Videos were shot in-house. However we all expected that the bosses of the label at least go the extra mile in bringing out a video that will match the potential of the song which nearly everyone termed as a future classic. Unfortunately this didn’t happen.&nbsp;The <i>African Queen</i> video is the greatest letdown of all time in contemporary Nigerian music video history. The video is all shades of wrong. The video is too bland and uninspiring. It&nbsp;doesn't&nbsp;match the epic nature or the grandness of the Tu Face ballad. Ideally the video should have been shot in locations with great and natural scenery. Somehow the video took place in a studio which looked like a large closet. Rather than shoot a proper and solid video, M.I accepted the poor animation video of <i>Action Film</i> from a fan. The animation is so poor and amateurish. In a classic example of “watch me f*ck myself up” 9ice released the video to <i>Gongo Aso</i> in a compilation VCD with other songs from his second album nearly two years after. Hmmm…<i>Gongo Aso</i> was no longer hot we know but if you are to release a video two years after the song dropped at least make sure that the video is out of this world. <i>Gongo Aso</i> is a shabby video. It lacks a coherent theme and direction. Oleku- <i>Oleku</i> is one of the biggest rap singles of all time in Nigeria if not the biggest. In 2010 Chocolate City had become one of the country’s biggest labels. Despite not having a good track record with music videos we all had a feeling that they were going to go all out on this hit track. They chose MEX to direct the video. MEX made his name in the directing game by directing special-effects videos. His work for M.I on Safe still remains M.I’s best video. The whole industry showed up for the video and we all expected a good video. Three months later bullshit raised its ugly head. A rough version of <i>Oleku</i> got ‘leaked’ to the internet. Pissed to the high heavens, all parties involved swore that the real <i>Oleku</i> video was better than that. A few weeks later the ‘real’ video dropped with little difference with the ‘leaked’ version. People tore the video a new a**hole on Twitter and on several blogs. With so much label bureaucracy MEX’s vision somehow got lost. Months later the popular MNET soap opera Tinsel created a TV ad with Oleku as the soundtrack. It wasn't interpreted accurately and the picture quality was low. When the video came out, people online tore it a new rectum.
