This blog was supposed to be a “group” blog where several of us posted nutty, goofy, offensive and stupid crap. It should be obvious that content like that should be taken seriously.

Unfortunately, I was the only one posting and the others were not. Since I already have a few other like minded blogs I maintain, it’s just too much work to be doing for stupid crap.

Microsoft has a way of fucking itself in ways that most companies don’t seem to be able to (more likely they’re just smart enough to avoid it).

Microsoft SongSmith is shaping up to be the new Microsoft Bob as far as I’m concerned. Take, for instance, the Billy Idol song White Wedding. This is what SongSmith came up with using Billy Idol’s original vocal track:

A local radio station playing punk, indie, alternative, electronic rock, etc. is calling it quits.

Let me be the first to say that L.A. Radio sucks shite, and thank Indie for trying to do something different and real and fresh. Unfortunately that sort of thing never lasts for very long in Southern California.

It’s a station that counted amongst it’s hosts Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Henry Rollins of Black Flag-Rollins Band-and solo success, Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction and solo efforts, and Joe Escalante of the Vandals. Sad to see it go…

The good news is that Indie is sticking around as an internet only station and can be found at www.indie1031.com. So far the only confirmed name above that will stay on is Henry Rollins (you gotta love Rollins, he’s not turning down an open-mic, regardless of where it goes), but many of the other hosts are staying on board to bring you the music they (and we) love.

If this is the kind of music you love, support them, before we all get Britney’d, Beyonce’d, and P-Diddied to death.
