The Romani singer, rapper, voice actor and guitarist Joci Pápai from Hungary rose to fame internationally through his entries in Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and 2019. Now he returns with the stripped down single, Hova Tűnt.

Noa Kirel - 'פאוץ

2019-08-04T14:56:00.000+02:00

What's this? Some cool, urban music from Israel in Hebrew. That's all. And we're so here for it.

Robin Bengtsson - Dark Angel

2017-10-14T15:23:00.001+02:00

Dj Kayz - Jugni Ji (feat. Mister You, Dr Zeus & Sophia Akkara)

2015-07-15T19:35:00.001+02:00

Yes please! More Indian influences in western pop music, thanks! Perfect song to rock out some dance moves to this summer.

Troye Sivan - Happy Little Pill

2014-08-25T12:52:00.001+02:00

Australian actor and popular youtube-videoblogger Troye Sivan is about to release his first solo EP after signing with Universal Music. The second single from the EP baptised TRXYE is the song "Happy Little Pill", and it very good indeed. It's a bit dark downtempo RnB, soul and electronic all at once. A mix we happen to love. If that's also your cup of tea we're

Melisses - Ena

2014-07-16T13:35:00.000+02:00

I don't understand why this band hasn't made it internationally yet. They're keep putting out stellar and hit-worthy singles in their native Greece that makes us feel great. And even though it's a pure dance track that has been in our headphones on repeat for the past two weeks, the singer Chris Mastoras delivers deepth and emotion to the vocals. Melisses(=the Bees) keep our interests up and we

Dolcenera - Niente al Mondo

2014-06-28T13:08:00.001+02:00

Dolcenera is back after two years of abscence. And what a lovely comeback it is. Niente al Mondo(~Nothing in this world), that is the title of the song, is perhaps one of her best tunes to date. The song is built up by a band, with primarily focus on drums, think marchingband in a fast pop-/electronic tempo(almost a bit SafriDuo-like). Bluesy tones mixed with Meaditerranean ones&

BoA - Masayume Chasing

2014-06-19T15:56:00.000+02:00

Asian MEGA-star BoA's latest single is somewhat different to what she's done before. Maybe mainly because it's the openening theme song to the Japanese Anime "Fairy Tail". So well, yeah, expect it to sound like just that - a bubbly, catchy anime tune. The song premiered with the first episode in the beginning of april, but it's just now that she's released an accompanying music

Michele Bravi - Non Aver Paura Mai

2014-06-18T15:44:00.000+02:00

Michele Bravi won the 7th season of X-factor Italy last year, and a week ago he debuted his first album titled "A Passi Piccolo"(~ "In small steps"). On this album we found this little gem called "Non Aver Paura Mai" (~"Never ever afraid") written by no other than our favourite Italian artist: Tiziano Ferro(co-written with Emanuele Dabbono)! It's a cutesy little number that takes our imagination

Max Barskih - Отпусти

2014-06-16T11:45:00.000+02:00

I don't speak any or the Slavic languages and it's the wrong season(winter has passed since this came out in February), but there's no doubt in our minds that Max Barskih is a East European superstar and that this song needs to be mentioned on this blog. Instead of his usual dance floor hits, this single is a suggestive and haunting ballad that builds towards it's epic climax. This

David Carreira - Boom

2014-06-15T09:00:00.000+02:00

Portuguese David Carreira that we wrote about a year and a half ago (here) continues do put out music in French. This time it's the great R&B track"Boom".

Nicole Scherzinger - Your Love

2014-06-14T19:30:00.000+02:00

Nicole Scherzinger is treating us to her latest music video. And although it might not be that special or non-typical type of video for her(directed by Dawn Shadforth), the song kinda is. It's still infections comercial pop, but it's a new direction and a sound that feels more international, more european and contemporary if you will. She collaborated with the talented song writers The

Nazan Öncel - Hadi O Zaman (feat. Tarkan)

2014-06-14T16:26:00.001+02:00

Time for some wonderful dance beats from Turkey again! Diva Nazal Öncel has written "Hadi O Zaman" that bascially means "Come on then!" And we surely can see ourselves on the dance floor trying to get our friends to come over and shake their asses to this beat. Featuring on the track is Turkish pop king Tarkan whom Nazal written songs to before.

Robin - Kesärenkaat

2014-06-14T16:16:00.001+02:00

15-year old Finnish pop-chap Robin is giving us the song "Käsenrenkaat" with accompanying music video to promote the use of condoms(!). Great track though and in the same sound as his national mega hit "Boom Kah", but is still not featured on his album. PS. Is it only us that gets disturbed by the different colored shoes...?

Miley Cyrus - Jolene

2014-06-05T15:20:00.003+02:00

Miley Cyrus is actually very talented, too bad she doesn't get more hit songs of her own. Here's an amazing rendition of her Godmother Dolly Parton's epic classic "Jolene". Miley is currently touring around the world with her show the Bangers tour, in which she's also performing a shitload of different covers like this.

Indila - Dernière danse

2014-02-14T12:43:00.000+01:00

Beautiful French girl Indila has previously been working with huge French R&B/Hip-Hop acts who we love like M. Pokora, Soprano and Youssoupha. In December Indila released her first solo single and we love it. Like most of France also seem to do. The single is called Dernière danse(=last dance) and has reached top 2 in the French single chart so far. I'm not gonna go on about the song itself,

Clean Bandit - Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne)

2014-02-04T16:14:00.000+01:00

The ones that's been following my blog and/or know me, knows that I have a weak spot for strings. This lovely pop/dance track from british group Clean Bandit pulls on my heartstrings and makes me happy and makes me wanna get out of my chair and start some spontanous dancing! "Rather Be" is the fourth single taken from the groups upcoming debut album called "New Eyes", and features vocals from

Elisa - Ecco che

2013-12-06T08:55:00.005+01:00

Elisa has released a new song in Italy and it's climbing the charts and seem to be becoming a rather hit. It's traditional Italian pop, but wrapped in a rock coat. Maybe not the type of music we listen an awfully lot to, but this one has something. It's a decent pop song and has a rather infections vocal melody.

Eros Ramazzotti - Io Prima Di Te

2013-11-14T22:27:00.000+01:00

Latest single from famous Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti is at one hand a classic melody-infectious Eros-track, but in one hand a modern popsong. It's a bit more uptempo than his usual stuff and the production sounds more contemporary, with a gorgeous synth melody in the intro and in the chorus accompanying his lovely voice.Yes - we admit that we're fans. And this is a song that doesn't

The return of the saxophones

2013-11-10T19:42:00.000+01:00

For me saxophones takes me back to my childhood in the 90's, and I'm happy it is making a return in more and more contemporary songs. We had a huge hit in the eurodance song "Mr. Saxobeat" by the romanian singer Alexandra Stan 2011. And this year we got two more fantastic dance songs incorporating the lovely instrument that the saxophone is, albeit with a more updated modern sound obviously.

David Carreira - Obrigado la famille (feat. Dry)

2013-11-08T16:01:00.002+01:00

22 year old Portuguese artist David Carreira reached number one with his debut album back in 2011. He's born in Dourdan, France and is making a career there as well. And that explain this mix of languages that we've never heard on a record before, namely Portuguese and French! And we love it! This is a very catchy R&B-number that reminds of us of what we consider to be classic French R&

Priyanka Chopra - Exotic (feat. Pitbull)

2013-11-08T10:59:00.002+01:00

In early summer Priyanka Chopra - this Indian supercelebrity and actress/singer(and Miss World 2000)released this RedOne penned hit of a single that invites you to dance the summer away. The winter is almost here, but it's no shame in drifiting off for a few minutes and let everything go and dance your feet off for approx 4 minutes!! We only wish we'll be treated to the album soon,

Vinsten - Luckiest Girl

2013-01-12T10:41:00.000+01:00

Luckiest Girl by Vinsten got a lot of attention as the theme for a Swedish web-series a couple of weeks ago. That has now led to a contract with a record label for Vinsten(a duo consisting of Calle Wachtmeister and Niklas Benjaminson) and the release of Luckiest Girl as a single, while they're working on a upcoming album. We definitely understand why they got a contract, because this song is

Party Friday: The Saturdays - What about us

2013-01-11T17:24:00.001+01:00

Here's a happy return by our favorite Saturday-girls(even though it's Friday). The group is set to conquer America with their music and a reality show on E!. This is their brand new music video and first US single for the girls ever. It does not disappoint and makes us wanna head out dancing right now. So yeah, we are... see ya on the dance floor!

Aynur Aydın - Ayrılıklar Mevsimi

2013-01-11T16:43:00.000+01:00

This video ain't brand new, but it's a great track and Aynur Aydın is climbing the charts with this wonderful ballad in Turkey at the moment, and at that we've listened to Aynurs latest album quite a lot in the past few months and feel that we have to mention her here, but she's a Turkish popgem not to be missed in our opinion. 25 year old
