Although there’s a small city in Indiana of the same name, Kokomo is actually the former name of a real island off the Florida Keys, just like the Beach Boys sang to us in the 80s. That island is now known as Sandals Cay. It would’ve been nice if they kept the old name, huh? Then we can get there fast and then we’ll take it slow. (This one is a redesign.)

If you don’t know what that means, don’t fret. Old time ’80s revelers will tell you that it doesn’t really mean anything! It’s really just a lyric in Wang Chung’s (yes that’s the singing duo’s name) 1986 hit “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” but obviously the phrase has surpassed the actual song in terms of popularity.

The Rubik’s Cube took the world by storm in the early ’70s up ’til the ’80s and then it disappeared. I’ve seen some computerized versions of this 3-D puzzle game pop up in recent years (I even have one on my iPod touch!) but I’m sure you’ll agree that no digital counterpart is better than the real thing, however old-school-clunky it may be. I never had the patience to solve it though. How about you? (This is another redesign.)
