The Raja Rajeshwara Temple is a famous Hindu temple located in Taliparamba, Kannur district, Kerala, India. It is one of the ancient and prominent temples in the state of Kerala and is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped here in the form of Raja Rajeshwara.

As per the dress code, women devotees should wear saris with blouses or churidar with proper dupattas. Girls aged under 12 can wear gowns up to their feet.

## Punakha Dzong Punakha Dzong stands at the confluence of two rivers the Mo Chhu (Mother River) and the Pho Chhu (Father River). Punakha served as Bhutan's capital for over 300 years and the first king was crowned here in 1907. Basically the term "dzong" is the Bhutanese name for a building which in other countries would be called a castle or a fortress. They were built as a means to govern and protect a region and each was the residence of the regional governor. A dzong is usually divided into two parts - a secular adminstrative section and a religous monastic section.

## Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Bhutan's fine architectural and artistic traditions and the only one of its kind in the world this temple is located in north of Punakha, about 30 minutes drive from town. From the parking, it is another 45 minutes uphill walk through the rice fields and the return portion downhill takes around 30 minutes.

Basically Delhi (India) Kathmandu (Nepal) bike ride was a promise that we made in 2014 on our come back journey from White Rann of Kuch (Gujarat) towards Delhi.

The promise was to take another long bike ride next year in 2015 longer then what distance we covered in Delhi -Rann of kutch.

It was just coincidence that first destination that came to our mind was Nepal with an excitement of crossing international borders over bike.

Initially June 2015 was decided for our journey from Delhi to Nepal but but due to April earthquake we have postponed our plan to 2016.

This year (2016) we have chosen Holi long weekend in order to avoid extra office leaves. A fix date was set to leave Delhi for Nepal on Tuesday night at 10 P.M with a bikers prayers that we use to sing before every road trip.

For whole trip we just have 120 Hours and 10,000 Rs/- in hand. Apart from 5 years old friend Raja I have my 8 year old 125 cc Bajaj XCD which is no more in production since 2010.

By 11 am Tuesday, 22 April night we were on NH24 moving towards Bareily. The idea was to reach Pilibhit via Bareily early in the morning and then towards Banbasa border as soon as possible.

The world’s largest Hindu temple is about to open in Robbinsville, New Jersey.

The Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Shri Swaminarayan temple, known as a Akshardham Mandir, is a 162-acre complex which broke ground in 2009 and is set for completion in 2017.

When completed, the mandir will be larger than its parent structures at Delhi and Gandhinagar in India.

According to sources, 2,000 artisans in Rajasthan are hand-crafting the temples in Italian and Rajasthani marble. The finished pieces are then assembled in New Jersey by a team of master craftsmen.

The first phase of the project, The Great Prayer Hall -- with seating for 1000 people -- and Shikharbaddh Mandir temple will be inaugurated in August 10, 2014.

Remaining construction includes a youth activity center, visitor’s center and food court, and a second, larger temple, the Great Akshardham Mandir, expected to be completed in 2017.

The 54 metre tall gopuram (gate-tower), 1220 metres of magnificent corridors and the flamboyant columns embellish and render fame to the temple. The water in each of the 22 sacred wells in the temple tastes different.

About 3 kms from the Ramaswamy Temple is the Gandhamandana Parvatham, the highest point in the island. Climb up to the terrace and a wonderful sight awaits you as the entire island is visible from this vantage point.

The Howrah Bridge is a cantilever bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. Commissioned in 1943, the bridge was originally named the New Howrah Bridge, because it replaced a pontoon bridge at the same location linking the two cities of Howrah and Kolkata (Calcutta). On 14 June 1965 it was renamed Rabindra Setu, after the great Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore, who was the first Indian and Asian Nobel laureate. It is still popularly known as the Howrah Bridge.

The bridge is one of four on the Hooghly River and is a famous symbol of Kolkata and West Bengal.
