Date: Thursday, December 15, 2011
Place: 3123 West Kennedy Blvd, Tampa FL
Time: 7am-6pm
What: An unwrapped new toy, slightly used toys and canned food.
Items needed include: Canned Green Beans, Peas, Corn, Baby Formula. Complete list of needed items.

The Good Samaritan Mission is a non-profit charitable Christian Ministry located in Wimauma Florida.

Ever so often I run a test on my mobile uploading after software updates. Not always have I had success with mobile blogging, yet as you can see the last two post were sent via mobile. The pix were the ones I could never load without alot of background coding...thus I am happy with these results.

Egypt Liberated Feb 11, 2011

I had kept a very close eye on the Jan 25, 2011 events. A day also known as the day of rage/anger in Egypt. Tweeters began adding the #Jan25 twibbon on their profiles to show their support for the Egyptians. All throughout, day by day the situation became less certain except for one constant. The Egyptian will was not to be divided nor swayed.

The following sites have chronicled the events that launched Egypt to stand firm arm and arm for change after 30 years of overwhelming unemployment, poverty and horrific crimes against everyday citizens.

It is something to be said that today on the anniversary of the birth of Thomas Alva Edison a man credited with inventing the electric light bulb, that the nation of Egypt sees a new light, the light of possibility and a better future for it's people.

Okay not all parents are created tech savvy equal. Just last night my mother called. When her opening line to the conversation is "Do you have a minute, are you in the middle of something?" I know it's going to be computer related and it was. Which bring me to this wonderful website: http://www.teachparentstech.org

I found this or should I say it found me when I opened my browser to check my email this morning. It was right there, on the left side of my login with two videos all set up in a form of a post card. Love it! Now if I can only get her to open her emails, jk....she's a pro at that already.

Call to parents. They slept through the 1am eq. When I called they were watching channel 6 (local) where no reports of casualties, fallen buildings or residential dwelling had been filed at that time. Although many after shocks had occurred. See maps link below for detailed quake activity.

Haiti's Plight

Devastation of catastrophic proportions feel upon Haiti on Tuesday Jan 12, 2010 via a magnitude 7 earthquake. What has happened since can only be described as unimaginable. Loss, hunger, despair, pain have been a main theme a week later. Aid is arriving however it's trickling effect I fear will be the demise of many. What does not surprise me is the extraordinary out pour of monetary donations I believe is a first for our global community. People want to help in any way they can for the most part. I am not going to talk about the anti-support for Haiti that I have seen this past week from several attention addicted radio hosts, to so called Christians and others. Focusing instead on Haiti's long term needs. I am concerned that as weeks go by Haiti will be less spoken about causing care and support to dwindle. I hope I am wrong, that those who care will make it their personal commitment to be there long term. It's the basic principle to help those who can not help themselves.

Endurance and the will to make things better than when they were found are driving factors that humanity has proven they are capable of, I am hoping that will prove to be true again in this case. Time will be the witness.

Las tecnologia es uno de esos temas que siempre me captura la atencion. Cuando encuentro un enlace que pienso que disfrutaran al igual que yo, pues lo comparto aqui lo cual es el caso con el siguiente enlace: http://tecnomagazine.net/
