Durante o caminho um carro invade o acostamento, atropela dois ciclistas, um deles vem a falecer posteriormente. Este foi o segundo caso em pouco mais de 30 dias na mesma estrada.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Cancellara estava num grupo de aproximadamente 12 ciclistas e atacou forte. O grupo se partiu, foi possível ver ciclistas sobrando de roda, outros furando pneu, alguns "furando pulmão", queimando as pernas e por aí vai.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

No grupo de cinco ciclistas, Tom Veelers (Project 1t4i), Flecha (Sky) e Cancellara ameaçavam Boonen, Steegmas sobrou, mas dessa vez não houve erro na medida do "Tornado" que fez um estrago de grandes dimensões num sprint nervoso. Boonen fechou a etapa com a velocidade média de 48.3 km/h, Cavendish, Renshaw, Gilbert e outros ficaram no corte e só viram a chegada pelo telão. Com a vitória, Boonen fica mais próximo de conseguir o quarto título.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Na frente um seleto grupo de aproximadamente 30 ciclistas ganhou força e a equipe mais numerosa era a Garmin Barracuda com seis ciclistas, dentre eles Murilo Fisher, mas isso não foi suficiente para que a equipe alcançasse a vitória nesta manhã.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Flecha e Eisel entraram em sintonia, posicionaram o melhor do mundo e ele não decepcionou, enquanto Boonen calculou mal o tempo do sprint, Cavendish veio de traz, liberou o "nitro" e passou sem dar seta, só restou poeira do deserto para os demais.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;A primeira etapa do Tour do Catar reuniu alguns dos principais sprinters do mundo, ainda mais depois do fim da equipe HTC que distribuiu velocistas para todas as principais equipes World Tour. A expectativa era grande em volta das equipes Sky com Cavendish e Rabobank com Renshaw, mas na prática a teoria foi outra.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;No domingo quem triunfou mesmo foi o belga Tom Boonen da Omega Pharma Quick Step tricampeão da prova, que após dois anos problemáticos reapareceu com força total: "&lt;i&gt;Ano passado eu sentia muitas dores no tornozelo, não dava para fazer força, mas este ano está tudo dando certo...&lt;/i&gt;". A chegada de altíssima velocidade foi emocionante, a pouco menos de 100 metros para cruzar a linha o embalador Gert Steegmans deixou a ponta livre para Tornado que atacou tão forte que os demais sentaram, ninguém conseguiu se levantar do selim (que cena linda!). Só para constar, esta foi a 19ª vitória do ciclista no Qatar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;No desenrolar da prova, a pouco menos dois kms do final, o ciclista brasileiro Murilo Fisher tentou colocar ordem na equipe Garmin Cervélo que levava Tyler Farrar para chegada.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Murilo não estava nada feliz com a "tranquilidade" de seus colegas de equipe que &amp;nbsp;nitidamente fizeram corpo mole (estavam mortos) na hora de posicionar Farrar. Ao final, Farrar ficou em quarto lugar, Sagan foi o Terceiro e Adam Blythe da BMC (nunca ouvi falar) foi o segundo. Cavendish terminou em 49º lugar, já Renshaw terminou em sexto.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Corri oito quilômetros empurrando-o na cadeira de rodas. Claro que ficamos para trás, mas não fomos os últimos. No fim, Rick me agradeceu e disse: "Pai, quando corro, minha deficiência desaparece". Aquilo mexeu comigo. Desde então, empresto meus braços e pernas a Rick para que ele experimente a sensação outras vezes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Em 1992, atravessamos os EUA em 45 dias percorrendo 6011 quilômetros.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Ele começou a se apresentar como "Free Bird" (pássaro livre, em inglês), eu deixei o sedentarismo. Era difícil achar tempo livre para praticar esportes: casei aos 20 anos, tive mais dois filhos e conciliava três trabalhos para sustentar a casa e pagar as despesas médicas de Rick. Depois da primeira corrida, passei duas semanas de cama por causa das dores. A maior dificuldade não são os 58 quilos do meu filho, mas a dificuldade de conduzir a cadeira em linha reta.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Quando nos interessamos pelo Triatlo, desenvolvi outra para fixá-lo à frente da minha bicicleta. Para nadar, visto um colete com uma corda que me prende ao bote salva-vidas onde está o Rick. O mais desgastante do Triatlo são as trocas de modalidade, porque nesses trechos preciso correr com ele nos braços.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Sofremos só um acidente até hoje: no Ironman de 2002, caímos da bike e tivemos de abandonar a competição. Rick cortou o rosto, sangrou bastante, mas felizmente não se quebrou. Foi um ano azarado. Cinco meses antes, eu &lt;b&gt;enfartei sem perceber durante uma prova. &lt;/b&gt;Só sobrevivi e pude continuar competindo porque minha condição física é excelente. Tenho de estar 100% atento, pois Rick não controla os movimentos - se eu caio, ele vai junto. Gostaria que meu filho se aposentasse comigo, pois não acredito que outros terão o mesmo cuidado. Ele costuma dizer que, se deixasse de ser deficiente, a primeira coisa que faria seria me empurrar. É esse sentimento que me faz seguir em frente.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Como o Cabeleira é muito legal, ele me levou numa trilha que ele disse que era fácil, a trilha da Taboquinha, Conhece? Bundinha, Abelhas... fácil?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;A covardia começou logo no início da trilha quando os dois colegas tiraram suas Felt Six Team de última geração do carro e eu com uma Specialized ano 98 e emprestada pelo Marconi, uma verdadeira Tetéia das trilhas (nos anos 90) que está no canto direito da foto... Detalhe que o Paulada e o Cabeleira utilizam essa bike pra treinar (treinar = moer).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Saímos da Vendinha, um pequeno trecho de asfalto, veio o estradão e tome trilha, descida das abelhas, um single track bem técnico que me deixou com as pernas bambas e as mãos doloridas. Inseguro, desci com o braço mais tenso do que os cabos de aço da Ponte JK, quando terminou foi um alívio só!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;O Marconi como sempre, descendo liso igual sabonete em chão de banheiro molhado, parecia que a trilha dele estava asfaltada, já a minha tinha buracos, galhos, pedras soltas de todos os tamanhos e presas também, fora as valetas de chuva e um penhasco que ficava me olhando e falando: VEM AQUIIIIII Wander! Eu ficava dentro das valetas, saía, batia numa pedra, voltava pra valeta, saia e raspava numa árvore... que briga!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;No sobe e desce deu tudo certo, senti falta da tranquilidade do asfalto, na trilha é diferente, se você desviar o olhar um segundo do seu caminho, pronto, está fora do single e pode até catar uma pedra camuflada no mato ou mesmo descer a "pirambeira" que sempre te acompanha de um lado ou de outro, é necessário concentração total para fazer uma boa trilha.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Subindo e descendo em estreitos singles matamos mais de uma hora de trilha, eu me achando o máximo, nenhuma queda, eu sou demais! Um pouco mais à frente vem uma descida média num estradão de cascalho branco, depois dela começamos a subir, momento que fui pedalar em pé para aproveitar o embalo e a corrente pulou. Pedalei no vazio e, e, e? LONA! Comprei um lote na subida (ainda bem que o embalo já estava no final), a "Tetéia" "zerada" não parava na coroa maior e ninguém me avisou, ficou o batismo! Legal foi quando o Valderi chegou: &lt;i&gt;"filmou? filmou? Tava filmando?&lt;/i&gt;" Eu lá espalhado no chão e o cara perguntando se estava filmando. "Obrigado Valderi! "Eu estou bem, não foi nada não..." hehehe.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Foi isso, trilha é trilha, tem que rolar um batismo, no domingo vai ter mais se minhas batatas pararem de doer porque o Cabeleira insistiu muito em nos levar para conhecer quase todas as subidas que existem na Taboquinha, no final deu quase duas horas de trilha. Está bom para voltar a se animar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
