Sogrape, Portugal's largest wine company, has made a full acquisition of wine merchant Stevens Garnier.










Stevens Garnier is one of the UK’s most-established wine merchants. It began in the 1970s and now has a portfolio covering all of the world’s major wine regions.

The Chinese government has finally approved the first-ever Chinese investment fund specialising in wine.

"The Dinghong Fund (Dinghong means 'In Red') plans to invest in €110m on wine over a five-year period starting this year, according to a representative from Bordeaux negociant Vintex &amp;amp; les Vignobles Grégoire, which will manage the fund’s wine buying." - Say Decanter.com
