Maison Martin Margiela is always very high-touch and artistic. This collection: fur, . braided leather, suede, strappy leather. The hole-y knits were very Rodarte-esque and some of the leather was clearly inspired by Western leather tooling.

The Western pieces were not my favorites, but the body skimming leggings and tunics are very wearable.

Spring? No, ma cherie. It’s Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2011. With all the floral influences, it seems that John Galliano is in a spring-y kind of mood.

He turned models into living floral arrangements with cellophane-covered faces and sky-scraping hair that blossomed all the way up to the rafters. With punchy bits of aquamarine, purple, and marigold, this was a colorful way to kick off Paris Haute Couture.

Dresses and skirts were in full bloom with bursts of sculptural flowers and bud-like draping. Even the shoes took on the garden theme with strappy heels that twisted like creeping vines.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen florals for fall, but this is quite the explosion.

New year, new hair!

Hair guru Ken Paves worked his magic on loyal client Jessica Simpson and gave her a new hair style that is very blonde and very curly.

Jessica Simpson came out of the salon carrying the Louis Vuitton Monogram Leopard Stephen “Boston” handbag that we’ve seen her with before. This bag is from several seasons ago, but I still love it (leopard print!).

Kim Kardashian is selling it like the rent is due — reality show, exercise videos, teeth whitening, and now perfume.

Kim Kardashian revealed a toned and trim body in the retro-themed ad campaign for her new perfume. The fragrance is said to have notes of jasmine, tuberose, gardenia, tonka bean, and sandalwood.

If you want to wake up and splash on a little eau de Kardashian, you’ll still have to wait a little while. The perfume will be available exclusively at Sephora in February.

All jokes aside, I really love sandalwood and gardenia based scents, so I’d be willing to give this a try. Will you be buying Kim Kardashian perfume?

Images from the upcoming V Magazine “Size Issue” have been steadily leaking out and I’m almost afraid to look at them anymore lest I ruin it for the January 14 street date.

The “One Size Fits All” shoot featuring Crystal Renn and Jacquelyn Jablonski (see it here) was hot, but I was all agog when I saw these photos highlighting a few lesser-known plus-size models.

Candice Huffine, Tara Lynn, Michelle Olson, Kasia Pilewicz, and Marquita Pring were photographed by Solve Sundsbo in a shoot featuring Guess jeans, Gucci swimwear, and bare skin.

I love that this shoot puts the models in very body-con fashions and they aren’t trying to hide the body parts that make them plus-size models, but are actually putting those thighs, hips, and bellies on full display. So sexy!

I knew I was going to love these photos the minute I saw leopard print.

How did I miss this?

While Kanye West got his Cindy Crawford on for A Bathing Ape, his girlfriend, Amber Rose, snuck in a layout for the January 2010 issue of Vibe magazine.

The photo shoot, titled A Splash of Masculinity shows Amber Rose rocking what I can only describe as a tiny blonde ‘wiglet’ and giving the masculine clothes a feminine edge. I think her face looks absolutely gorgeous in the photo above. Her skin glows and I always love a ruby red lip.

You know, I didn’t pay that much attention to them before, but I’m starting to really like Kanye West and Amber Rose together. Individually, they can be a little bit too much, but together, it all makes sense.

Celebs came out for New Year’s Eve ready to dazzle and party their way into 2010. Christina Aguilera showed off her mean shoe game in a pair of Christian Louboutin Calypso shoes in red with a crystal toe.

Mariah Carey wore an silver mini on her bod and husband Nick Cannon on her arm, while Nick went for that Brat Pack, undone-bow-tie look. In Miami, Leighton Meester dared to be bare under a blue, silk tank paired with a sparkly belt and black miniskirt.

But Nicole Richie was my favorite look of the night. I love her with dark hair and her gold minidress and platform stilettos look chic and easy.
