The first year of (almost) daily meditation

Today is my first anniversary of daily meditation practice. It was almost (92%) daily, as during the first month after the birth of our baby whenever I found a quite time I felt asleep. Before the birth it was much easier to find time for my practive, after it was possible but usually challenging. All in all I want to continue. In short: I feel calmer and more aware of my mind patterns during a meditation session and in daily life.

What is luck? Is it something magical or maybe it is just a question how we perceive things that happen to us? Maybe it is just something we have “control” over in that sense that we can consciously focus our attention on positive sides and accepts negatives not dwelling in them?

buy or look inside Knowing about Natural Infant Hygiene before being parents was very important. It is actually not so important which book you read, much more important is just to be aware of the fact that it is possible already at the beginning. After reading this book we decided to give it a try.

First few weeks it did not work at all. At 6 week we started to use reusable diapers and after two weeks we got 70% of effectiveness in elimination communication! Our baby still needs a diaper however most of time she uses a toilet (washbasin to be precise)! And this is really fascinating to observe how she can let us know about her needs.

Happy Parenting

Since the end of 2011 we are happy parents!

As for now we are sure that this is one of the most significant experiences in live. And like with all significant experiences you have to make it to understand its meaning. We are at the beginning of this path and we can already see that parenting even helps us growing: being more cheerful, mindful and loving. It is simply great and fascinating! We would recommend it to everybody, especially late and aware parenting.

The only disadvantage is that we have less time for different projects. We will probably from time to time post something here – especially related to our new hobby. If you are interested in any form of contribution to the positive source we are open for any kind of co-operation.
