Am I the Only One Not Dancing On Thomas Massie's Grave?

2026-05-20T03:30:11.373-07:00

When does a political movement become a political tribe? When do we favor proper nouns over principles? Does every political movement morph into The Democrat Party where every thug and loser is rewarded so long as they are blindly loyal to their leaders?

The ultimate insult is that Massie has been called a RINO, equating him with Cassidy and Romney and Thune. Those deceivers are Democrats in drag. They see the GOP as the Dems ' junior varsity squad, ever willing to step into the limelight to do battle with The Wretched Americans.

That would not be Thomas Massie. He has a voting record. He has cred.

Thomas Massie’s Turning Point USA Rating

Turning Point Action’s lifetime scorecard for Representative

Thomas Massie (R‑KY‑4) is 86.76 out of 100, with a

2026 live session score of 90.20 Turning Point Action.

This score reflects his performance on a range of conservative

policy issues tracked by the organization.

Key Issue Scores (Lifetime) Turning Point Action

American Culture: 88.24%
Big Tech & Free Speech: 75.00%
Border Security: 86.36%
Election Integrity: 85.00%
Educational Freedom: 100.00%
Second Amendment: 100.00%
Health & Medical Freedom: 85.42%
Taxes and Spending: 83.13%

Notable Points:

Massie’s highest scores are in Educational Freedom and Second Amendment,
both at 100%.
His lowest score is in Big Tech & Free Speech at 75%,
which may reflect more moderate or nuanced positions on tech regulation.
The 2026 live session score (90.20) is slightly higher than his lifetime average,
indicating strong performance in recent legislative activity.

I agree that Massie should have voted for the Save Act, and on this failure

alone he should have been challenged. But who would challenge Massie,

and what did he bring to the table?

Apologies for going to the AP, but the stopped clock was right once more:

"Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL,

ran on his military service and loyalty to the president..."

What else do we know about Massie's slayer? Nothing.

Or if there is anything else, he has kept it to himself.

The military service part does not matter. Trump Puppet was the

entirety of his campaign.

I am glad to see the Crenshaws fall by the wayside, but Massie is not

Crenshaw.

If Trump Nation cannot make that distinction,

then a political movement is now a political cult.

Repost From May 17, 2025: In Defense of James Comey, The King Of Scumbags

2026-04-28T16:06:00.000-07:00

James Comey is a rotten human being and perhaps the best poster child for dirty cop disease, but I am of the strong opinion that he should be given a pass on the "86 47" post.

Had he posted "187 47," I might have seen this differently. "187" is a specific code for homicide used by many police agencies. I know of no other common use for this number.

"86" is a more flexible number. Its origin is imprecise, but it is at least a century old and probably stems from the hospitality industry. Anyone who has worked in a restaurant is familiar with the term. "Eighty-six shrimp cocktails" means the house has run out of boiled shrimp. Usually, "86" refers to something already depleted, but yes, it can be used to suggest that an item be temporarily discontinued. The wilted lettuce might prompt a "should we eighty-six the garden salad?" query. Taverns and casinos have generalized the term to reference persona non grata customers.

One can advocate for Donald Trump's removal without suborning homicide. Impeachment might be one such lawful maneuver. And one can legally make the case that Trump is a pariah, and could be expressed as "86 47". The numerical sequence might also reference a time after Trump departs from office in 2029. "86 47." Comey did not specifically reference homicide. Thus, leave James Comey alone!

I don't mind defending scumbags, but Comey makes this a nauseating task. I would much rather defend Diddy or Ghislaine, or Osama Bin Laden. Comey is just too too too fake suave. Look what James found while walking the beach in a moment of quiet reflection! The deep and earnest reflector reflected once more on his ponderous and reflective, and yes, reflective insights that he once more shared with humanity, however undeserving the naked apes might be. Thanks for the insightful reflections and reflective insights, you deep and ponderous and insightful and reflective giant piece of shit.

SPLC: Indicted!

2026-04-22T17:15:00.000-07:00

Happy Schadenfreude Wednesday, everyone!

SPLC was funding its own opposition? Not surprising. There was a certain someone long supportive of Democrat causes who happened to be instrumental in organizing Unite The Right! Remember?

There is so much to despise about the SPLC! Which is worse? Their vicious truth-be-damned character assassination or barely-concealed grifting? I say the character assassination is worse because it led to the literal assassination of Charlie Kirk. Who cares if George Clooney or Tim Cook or corporate big shots get duped? The victims have money to burn, and it is human nature to lash out at those who expose the flim flam instead of those who promote the fraud. Don't expect any high fives from the fleeced.

Oh, let's take a moment and celebrate this day! Yes, the suck factor is still at 9, but who cares? Today, the SPLC is being brought to justice. Let us all embrace the schadenfreude!

The Supreme Court Got It Right, Tariffs Are A Tax And It Is Okay To Disagree With Your President You Obsequious Jerk!

2026-02-22T08:25:00.000-08:00

1. Tariffs are selective sales taxes. The Peter Navarros who call tariffs "tax breaks" are outorwelling Orwell.

2. Only Congress can levy taxes per the Constitution. This should have been 9-0.

3. Trump's tariff by whim is reckless and irresponsible.

4. Mexico and Canada--especially Canada--do not deserve to be punished for trading with US consumers.

5. I dreaded the day when the neopopulists would root for proper nouns over principles. I am sickened by the fanboys who support anything Trump promotes. Tariffs are good not because we have evaluated the pros and cons of these selective taxes in detail but good because Trump installed them. Ugh.

6. Yo puppy dog, put down the Kool-Aid. It's okay to disagree with your president.

Rest In Peace, Larry Sinclair

2025-09-04T16:19:00.000-07:00

I am sad that Larry Sinclair has passed away. He is the most underrated historical figure of our era. Had Joe Biden not used his uber-corrupt influence to disappear Sinclair in 2008, America might not have coronated her first crackhead president. And if there had been no Sinclair, Scranton Joe would not have wormed his way onto the ticket and we would never have had the disaster that was the Biden presidency.

My first Kindle selction would be Larry Sinclair's only book. I hope to reread it and reprint the living hell Sinclair was subjected to for sharing his revellations. Rest in peace, Larry. You left us plenty to talk about. (And talk we will).

Homicide On The High Seas

2025-09-04T15:59:00.000-07:00

It was a nice honeymoon. I was no fan of the tariffs, especially those placed on Mexico and Canada but it was Christmas morning almost every day. Then we have homicide on the high seas.

You can call it what you like but it is wanton murder. Trump bounded the legal hurdles by designating bad people terrorists. It's still homicide no matter what else we call it.

Does anyone know the identities of the eleven victms? No, but we are told that they are terrorists. If we don't know their identities, then how can we know they are terrorists? And how can we be certain that they were transporting drugs on the high seas? The word of a deeep state thug? If there was any evidence of drug transport, it was destroyed with the act of homicide. Who cares? Shut up and wave the MAGA pennant!

We were warned that the "enemy combatant" thing was a slippery slope. We didn't care. Now it seems a president can murder anyone he deems a terroist no matter how flimsy the evidence. But if the homicide plays well at Gallup, I guess we can expect more widows and orphans.

Homicide does not set well with me. I am funny that way. Can't wait for another Trump fanboy to cheer on the murder and then proclaim his Christian faith in the nest breath.

I have long been critical of the brain dead Dems for their blind loyalty. From years of open espionage to blatant influence peddling to broad spectrum lawfare to martial law wrapped in a health care package, to the mandating of a highly toxic vaccine, there is never a jump-off point for the cow-brained Dems. They just keep on guzzling the Kool-Aid. Now I have to ask myself if I have a MAGA jump-off point.

And oh, by the way, will Venezuela be the next Iraq? It sure feels that way. Then again, it could be Mexico. Or any other Hemisphere neighbor who meets with the murderer-in-chief's disapproval. Wasn't MAGA about rejecting America's role as the world's police force? Another long, long war?

Honeymoons end.

MURDER BY ANY OTHER NAME

In Defense of James Comey, The King Of Scumbags

Donald Baby, Where You Been All My Life?

2025-02-18T11:31:00.000-08:00

Finally! We now have a president who is willing to tackle financial malfeasance, lock horns with the political establishment, dismantle the bureaucratic state, fire corrupt and/or incompetent personnel, drain the damn swamp, and step on the toes of our ruling class. No, he has not brought about world peace just yet, but Week 4 of his presidency isn't over.

Trump is doing what we hoped Reagan would do. He is doing what we thought Gingrich would do. He is doing what we were certain George Bush and both houses of Congress might at least attempt to do. Forget those disappointments. Trump is doing it.

As an aggregate news site editor, I have trouble keeping up with Trump. Yes, it is easy to find worthy news stories but each "breaking news" item is displaced by another headline an hour later followed by another and another and another. Perhaps more important than anything else, perhaps more substantial than anything else, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, Trump's greatest achievement is his breaking the news cycle and recreating it to his liking.

"Trump fires inspectors general." That might be the biggest story of another administration. The most substantial action spanning four years. For Trump, it was another day at the office. Not even a day. IG's equal old news, move on an hour later.

It is happening! It is finally happening! Searches for "bleach bit" are up and so is my mood. NGO's are falling like dominos and so too is my despair. It will only get better when Trump gets all of his appointments in place.

This isn't Utopia, this is something much better. Keep it coming, Donald. Keep it coming.

God Reigns! Trump Rules!

2024-11-06T05:00:00.001-08:00

Christmas in November! As we await the next Deep State countermove, we have to take some time to celebrate our collective efforts and our answered prayers.

Please enjoy our victory and, more importantly, our enemies' defeat. Schadenfreude might never again be so appropriate or taste so sweet.

We win!

Election Prediction: Tomorrow's Election Will Not Determine The Fate Of Our Nation

2024-11-04T10:05:00.000-08:00

I read "The Fourth Turning" a few years back and since then I have listened to several Neil Howe interviews and other discussions on the subject that did not include Mr. Howe. At times, Howe clarified, other times he speculated, and other times he put a finer point on a pointed topic.

I scratched the surface of other historical cycles, one being the lifespan of fiat currencies. If this pajama historian was more committed to academic rigor, he would be able to source all of his comments. I can't tell you where this number originates but I was told the average life of a fiat currency is 52 years. That sounds right. We might not be able to verify the number but we know that fiat currency always arrives with an expiration date.

On August 15, 1971, President Nixon via executive order, ended the dollar convertibility to gold, securing a legacy of significance if not outright malevolence. All of history, all of the world, and all of life can be viewed through the lens of currency. The strength of currency does not determine everything but it influences everything. Everything.

Birth rates, literacy rates, the number of women in the workforce, the viability of organized religion, short-term vs. long-term investment strategies, the likelihood of war, the pronounced skewing of income and wealth, national debt, the clout of the managerial class, the zeitgeist...all things shaped by the strength or weakness of a currency.

A lot of people are saying that 2024 is the most important election in history. No, that would be 2020. It was then that we learned that the deep state is deeper than we had imagined and that they are more vicious than we could imagine. It was a gut punch, a shock to witness a presidential election stolen in plain view. As stunning as the steal was, it did not prepare us for the follow-up mass censorship, mass cancellation, intimidation, harassment, lawfare, contrived litigation, and even incarceration inflicted upon those who investigated or reported or protested the steal. Oh and let's not forget the assassination attempts and the coordinated legal attacks directed against the unrepented denier-in-chief.

The deep state is brazen. Cheating has a way of escalating and even as the veil is lifted, the political thugs practice their craft for all to see. Just one example: when the voter rolls of a state or municipality exceed the adult population of a city or state, corruption has crept in. Dems are openly committing election fraud with no fear of consequence.

Had the deep state not stolen the 2020 election, would they be any worse off? Trump seemed to get played at every turn. Pence, Sessions, Barr, Wray. The shadow government had binders and binders of Quislings and shills and moles. So much for that business savvy that allowed DJT to look into a man's eye and read his character like Don Corleone. A second Trump term would have probably seen more administrative hobbling and we would be left to celebrate the professed effort more than the result. An echo of the Reagan years.

Leftists always overplay their hand. Why? Because they are Leftists. They will first try to inflate Harris's vote count and bury Trump votes. Should that fail they will disrupt the voting in Red areas. They will use every technique they used in 2020 and showcase some new tactics as well.

I strongly believe that if we had an honest election, Trump would win in proportion to the size of crowds at their respective rallies. An epic landslide. A Red Tsunami. Sadly, clean elections are long ago and far away.

Should election theft fail, Judge Merchan will send Trump to jail to better facilitate assassination. And there will be other assassination attempts as well. There will be efforts to decertify the election. The tail might wag the dog. It will not be business as usual.

Civil strife is preceded by enhanced bureaucracy and unmanageable government debt which are preceded by a failed currency. We have those things by the boatload. To paraphrase Rudyard Lynch, we are in a doctor's waiting room anticipating test results, and who knows what else? These things only happen to people of other times and other places. Probability? Inevitability? Fate?

Tomorrow's presidential election might not matter at all.

A COVID Story I Have Delayed Sharing

2024-08-03T11:14:00.000-07:00

"Bittersweet" does not quite capture the breadth of feeling. It was vaguely synchronistic. Yes, it was sad. Yes, it validated my perspective and made me feel a little bit proud. It is hard for me to explain the significance of the meeting and I might fall short in that effort. I found a new friend and the friendship lasted about an hour.

This writer does not ordinarily use his real name. I have not taken any measures to conceal my identity and a sleuth could reveal everything about me in seconds. It's not the sleuth that worries me. The nosy neighbor or the office politician is more concerning. In this story, I want to protect the identity of the Health Care Professional, hereafter referred to as HCP. We don't want to cause problems with HCP's coworkers or peers or superiors or subordinates or regulators. In protecting the identity of HCP, I am assigning the pronoun they and I have delayed telling this story so that Alice Kravitz will not be able to pinpoint the day in question.

Let me briefly restate my recent history. In December 2021 I was terminated from a job I held for thirteen years because I resisted my employer's vaccination mandate. Prior to COVID, I was not a vax refusenik. I believed that vaccinations, like antibiotics and chlorinated drinking water, were twentieth-century marvels. Then we were hit with the Coronavirus. Every facet--every minute detail of that narrative--was bogus. It was presented by the Consensus Media with enhanced consensus.

I played along with the herd, standing six feet from humanity and constantly wearing a snot rag on my face. Being a homebody, I did not necessarily feel inconvenienced by the shelter-in-place orders. Working on the fringes of health care I was deemed an essential employee which meant that I could legally drive through the empty streets with a sense of ownership I had not known since the days following the Marathon bombing. In some ways, COVID was even better than April 2013 because the police, possibly reluctant to don mask and glove and exchange paper with a doomsday vector, allowed the scarce driver to move as fast as he pleased.

Historians might refer to this era as the golden age of horseshit. Lie stacked upon lie, stacked upon lie. Dissidents would be silenced. Heretics would be canceled. Doctors with sterling resumes would have their practices threatened. Careers would be wrecked. Businesses would close. Surfers would be jailed. Churches would be regulated in seating and singing and parking and handshaking. It wasn't the worst of times but it sure as shit wasn't the best of times either.

I declined the mandated vax. I lost my job. I landed on my feet. I paid a lawyer and was able to recover my unemployment benefits. I would continue to see healthcare professionals (HCP's). One appointment stands out.

HCP started the conversation by telling me how much they respected me for rejecting the COVID vaccination. HCP then informed me that they had enjoyed a lifetime of good health but that changed immediately after they received their prophylactic regimen.

Here I have to explain that I used to work as a mental health counselor. For reasons that I partly understand and partly do not comprehend, people find me "approachable". Even away from the workplace, people sometimes share more information than I would expect them to.

HCP provided a lot of personal health data and I can usually hold my own in shallow medical conversation. What I can tell you is that HCP was hit with multiple, possibly unrelated, health problems, some more serious than others. HCP is enduring a life-threatening complication. The prognosis is grim.

HCP ignored some professional standards by sharing this information with a patient. That does not bother me. I am honored that HCP would treat me as an equal. Under different circumstances, HCP's behavior might be viewed as inappropriate. Under these circumstances, I regard HCP's advice and support as noble and brave and a display of the heights of healthcare delivery.

HCP would enter into the record that they had advised me to get jabbed repeatedly, but privately HCP confirmed the wisdom of my decision. The focus of the visit returned to the patient and I can say that HCP performed to the standard. The ice had been broken and I was unusually quick to reveal details about myself I might have otherwise abbreviated. We also discussed my own recent losses and concerns for my loved ones' emotional welfare, topics I always avoid.

We managed to discuss death and dying in an unusually relaxed and candid way. Not just mortal coil kinds of stuff but burial plot prices, tombstone prices, logistics...totally unexpected topics. When you share secrets, especially secrets regarding mortality, a bond can form. Instant friendship. Instantly old friends. HCP even ragged on me about inflating my current job title, something only an old friend or relative might do. It did not seem out of place.

I cannot tell you how often I have reflected on this meeting. The breadth and depth of feelings are difficult to summarize. Yes, I like to be right. Yes, I love to be right and I like confirmation that I am right, but on matters related to the vax, I want to be wrong! Tin foil hat kind of wrong, Flat Earth kind of wrong. NESARA/GESARA kind of wrong. My friends and relatives who got Pfizered or Modernaed outnumber the refuseniks by a factor of at least 20 to 1. Sometimes it sucks to be right.

I never again saw my instant friend, one of the best allies, colleagues, cohorts, and, buddies I have ever known. Health care professionals are stalked more frequently than most people and I would not want to set off any alarms. Also, private contact with a patient can land the HCP in trouble. I am concerned about HCP's welfare but frankly, it is none of my business.

I seem to have a talent for recruiting or attracting stellar treaters. This interaction was special. In an era when we can't trust most doctors anymore, HCP boldly delivered truth and candor. For that, I shall be forever grateful.

Fort Sumter?

2024-07-14T05:42:00.000-07:00

This writer is thinking 12 thoughts at once and that is never good. He has no sense of comparison but he would describe his inner monolog as orderly and repetitive and repetitive. If his inner dialog (usually a monolog but now and then there is some Q and A) were a cable TV station it would be C-Span II or C-Span III. Today, it is a press conference staffed with hecklers.

There is no shock this time. Who did not expect an assassination attempt?

The consensus media were slow to respond to the story and then they all reported that Trump was rushed offstage after hearing "loud noises".

Was the Secret Service complicit?

Clif High predicted a mega-event (I can't speak his language so I use the term mega-event) on or around July 15. He also said the release language will continue for several months.

The power of prayer. I don't have reliable stats but, Trump is possibly the most prayed-for person in history. Out of the blue someone texted me an Amanda Grace video this past Tuesday that was mostly a prayer service for Trump and his family.

And his family...this writer's wife, upon learning of Trump's close call, immediately voiced concern for the safety of Trump's family.

Is this Fort Sumter?

Happy Birthday, Bob!

2024-05-24T04:34:00.000-07:00

May 24, 2024, is Bob Dylan's eighty-third birthday.

I don't want to sound like an aged Boomer inflicting demographic imperialism on the rest of humanity one more time. This is a political blog and we try not to wander off the reservation too frequently.

Sticking to politics, I want to thank Bob profusely for many, many things especially his apolitical life. Too many artists and entertainers spew Leftist verbiage because they want to be stylish or because they happen to be idiot savants who know nothing about anything outside their polished craft.

I could name a dozen actors who I once admired and respected but who are now repulsive to me. Think Robert Deniro. "Taxi Driver", "The King of Comedy", "Good Fellas"...I can't even look at these masterpieces anymore. Deniro is a ruling class suck-up and his moronic comments taint his lifetime of work. He just had to go and ruin it for me.

Could there ever be a greater disconnect between a star's contrived persona and their true essence than what Bono has displayed? The compassionate, sensitive, Christian artist is also a World Economic Forum participant. Is a greater contrast between essence and affect possible?

Well yes, it is possible. Man of the people/blue collarish/Nebraska-folkie/if Pete Seeger-and-Bob Dylan-had-a-love-child, Bruce Springsteen seems to have topped them all. Witness his flying above all of us on Air Force One with America's first Soros-puppet president. Larry Sinclair did it better, Brucie. Oh and let's not forget the sweet time Brucie had with Barry and Tom Hanks and Richard Branson on Branson's private yacht. That was one exclusive circle-jerk. And I used to love your music. I used to think--get this--I used to think you were real.

I can't feel you anymore
I can't even touch the books you've read

That brings us back to Bob. Bob was on hand for Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech. It is believed that that was Dylan's last protest of any kind. He sat out the peace marches and the no-nukes fad. Rush Limbaugh once ignorantly, ignorantly, ignorantly stated that Bob was "some kind of big environmentalist". Not publicly, he wasn't. Bob has been politically agnostic since at least the mid 60's.

...Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull, I dreamed...

...Spouted out that liberty is just equality in school
"Equality," I spoke the word
As if a wedding vow...

...In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach...

Ah, but he was so much older then. We were to see another side of Bob Dylan that was no longer preachy, or sophomoric or even vaguely partisan. Interestingly, the same album that gave us "My Back Pages" also provided "It Ain't Me Babe", a song that could be read as a rejection of guru status. Bob kept things in perspective.

Thanks for not ruining the enjoyment of your life's work, Bob. Happy Birthday, friend.

Sometimes The Comments Are More Revealing Than The Video

2023-09-07T16:43:00.002-07:00

I for one would rather have a gay president than a cokehead-in-chief. Something about mixing nuclear codes and crack pipes that seems a bit offsetting.

So, Tucker Carlson interviews Larry Sinclair and the comments overwhelmingly focus on Obama's sexuality. Did you catch the part about you know who hitting the pipe? Did you catch the part about who supplied the powder for his playmate? Did you catch the part about whose alleged gay lover was murdered?

A distant second commentary is "why would Tucker talk to that guy?" Maybe because that guy has been ignored, cancelled, defamed and abused for fifteen years. Goes back to this editor's rule of thumb: Show me a story that is suppressed, and I will show you a story that is probably true. Extreme measures were applied to silence Larry Sinclair. Therefore, his story is likely truthful.

Not many comments about the tragic slaying of Donald Young. That is unfortunate.

Conspicuously missing from the interview is the Biden factor. That too, is unfortunate.

Once more the news coverage--or lack thereof--is the big story, but that too is missed by the pundits and commentators. There is depth and to the Sinclair saga, but "Brokeback Obama" is the depth of the tweets.

Larry Sinclair, Tucker Carlson, And We, The Scattered Davids Armed With Pea Shooters

2023-09-06T09:37:00.003-07:00

Errata: A previous version of this article erroneously stated that Larry Sinclair had not set foot in Delaware prior to his arrest in that state. The bogus charges brought by Attorney General Biden stem from a prior stay at a Delaware motel. Corrections made 9/7/2023.

1. Larry Sinclair might be the most underrated and underreported figure in US history.

2. Speculatively, I do not believe Obama would have chosen Joe Biden as his running mate in 2008 were it not for Larry Sinclair.

3. Had Biden never served as vice president, he would never have become president.

4. Had Biden never become president the US might not have blown up the Nord Stream pipeline, we might not be funding a proxy war in Ukraine, we might not have discussed the increased probability of nuclear war, we might not see a global de-dollarization movement, we might not experience runaway inflation, product shortages, and endure economic calamity on the home front. "Let's go Brandon" would not be part of the zeitgeist.

5. I am not entirely buying Tucker Carlson's newfound integrity, his midlife professional crisis, his great awakening or whatever he is now selling. Once a Foxhole, always a Foxhole. Thanks for coming to the party 15 YEARS too late, Mr. Moneybags Journalist!

6. The suppression of the Larry Sinclair story challenges the integrity of every Con, Inc. luminary, including Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and Mark Levin.

7. The Sinclair saga unmasked the news media as suppressors of truth. It would usher in an era where news media would attack independent voices rather than evaluate the legitimacy of their stories.

8. At this site, we posed the question "If Mitt Romney's choir director, who openly bragged about having sexual relations with Romney, was gunned down days before the launching of Mitt's presidential campaign, would the story make national news?" It's a rhetorical question. Kind of like asking do Black lives matter? Yes, Black lives do matter unless your name is Donald Young. Will Carlson "go there"?

An overview: In 2008, Larry Sinclair attempted to steal the national spotlight by declaring that he had twice performed oral sex on Barack Obama. More significantly, he reported that Obama smoked crack cocaine during each encounter.

The news media tried to ignore Sinclair. He would be dismissed as a Clinton dirty trick, sometimes referred to as "the Hillary guy."

Suddenly, Larry Sinclair was removed from the public's view, He would be transported to Delaware to face charges that he previously defrauded a Rodeway Inn. These charges would later be dropped but coupled with the hijacking of Sinclair's websites as well as the instant discontinuance of his Social Security disability payments, the Hillary guy would be silenced until after the November election.

Despite his wrongful incarceration and further abuses, Larry Sinclair would write "Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder?" It would be the first Kindle purchase and I have to say, it did not disappoint. In 15 years of media shunning and harassments innumerable, Sinclair has not changed his tune.

Here, I speculate a little bit. Why did Barack Obama select Joe Biden as his running mate? With a name like Barack Hussein Obama, the Dems wanted a mainstream white person to "balance the ticket." Hillary or Gore would have wrecked Obama's food-taster budget. Bill Richardson might have been a little too ethnic and Joe Lieberman was a little too tribe. Why not John Kerry? Or John Edwards? Why not some 40-year-old who would be well-groomed and well-recognized for 2016? Why Joe Biden?

Joe Biden performed terribly in his presidential primary efforts because he was not popular or particularly likable. Journalists who like the word "charisma" left it on the shelf when discussing Joe. Biden's intellect was not respected by his fellow senators. But Biden was a team player. And yes, Biden played ball.

In 2008, Joe Biden's late son, Beau, served as Attorney General for the state of Delaware. Would the Biden Family fabricate charges against an innocent man to silence him until after the election? Would the Bidens engage in brazen criminal recklessness to ultimately rig a presidential election? Is that how Joe Biden muscled his way onto the ticket?

Could I prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the Bidens conspired to illegally incarcerate an innocent man? I couldn't. Could I present a preponderance of evidence that would suggest that Joe Biden had used Stasi tactics to unlawfully jail a political dissident and help rig a presidential election, all for the price of becoming the Democrat vice-presidential nominee? It has already been done.

When Larry Sinclair needed a lifeline, Republican stalwarts and Conservative icons dutifully tossed him their bricks. We, the scattered Davids armed with pea shooters would be effortlessly ignored by the army of Goliaths. Larry Sinclair deserved better treatment than we could provide. Maybe, just maybe, the upcoming Carlson interview will provide a morsel of justice for this wrongly persecuted man. We can dream, can't we?

Strange things happen when one becomes a proper noun. There are vast differences between republican and Republican, democrat and Democrat, conservative and Conservative. Likewise, nouns and adjectives play under a separate set of rules. We bear witness to a Democratic Party whose raison d'être is rigging elections.

Whereas the Libertarians might not be as blatantly antithetical to their moniker as the Democrats, they are not what they used to be. This writer realizes the oxymoronic "establishment libertarians" have charted a different course in recent years, but he has not educated himself on the details.

Let's narrow our focus to Reason.com. "Reason" magazine was started in 1968. The Reason Foundation was founded in 1978. Unlike other magazines and other foundations, Reason transitioned and flourished on the Internet. Reason.com.

Checking in with Reason from time to time is like tuning into the History Channel after taking a Rip Van Winkle nap. The history has been replaced by pawn shop merchants, trash pickers and aliens. Yes, we can get glimpses and gleanings of history through antique and collectibles speculation but what happened to Genghis Khan?

Reason.com is as unconditionally anti-Trump as the mainstream media. They don't seem particularly sympathetic to victims of illegal alien violence. Likewise, they don't shed many tears for children who are groomed and conned and castrated. Reason.com is allergic to discussions of election fraud because they "believe in the rule of law".

Most disturbingly, Reason.com routinely attacks the designated enemies of the orthodox press. Trump, DeSantis and now Robert Kennedy Jr., have found themselves the target of a caged monkey tossing his droppings at passersby. Given the polarity of the times, hit pieces are also not what they used to be, and it might be preferential to be struck by Reason scat than by the emanations of an 800-pound gorilla. The action says more about the monkey than the sidestepping mark.

Reason.com posted "RFK Jr.'s long con" on YouTube.

Shortly thereafter, Tom Woods penned Respectable Libertarians Attack RFK and it was reposted at lewrockwell.com.

Reason itself interviewed RFK maybe two weeks ago and asked him about some of the very issues Wolfe raises in her video from yesterday, but the Wolfe video either ignores his responses or (in one case) actually misrepresents them.

RFK, she says, “frequently implies that the establishment is corrupt at best, evil at worst.”

Oh, no! How can he say such a thing about our beloved Jerome Powell, Nancy Pelosi, and Lindsey Graham!...

Then this: “He wildly extrapolates from little grains of truth” — and as these words are being uttered, his excellent book The Real Anthony Fauci appears on screen.

We encourage you to watch the entire video. The upshot is that RFK Jr., this establishment prince, has betrayed his tribe. Point taken.

Now, let's return to the simian casting feculence. When and why did Reason.com start parroting legacy media? When and why did they start pledging allegiance to the establishment? How and why did Reason.com morph into Ruling Class sycophants?

Killing Occluded Information Links

2023-07-04T11:12:00.000-07:00

Clickbait comes in many forms. Usually, it involves a deceptive or sensationalized link. Think of the old days when people physically shopped at grocery stores. The checkout line would offer "National Enquirer" "Weekly World News" or other publications featuring attention-grabbing headlines that often did not match with the embedded story.

The tabloids were notorious for their blunderbuss headlines. When you sell your product from a newsstand or vending machine you have to get the passersby's attention. Sometimes the article lived up to its billing and sometimes it fell short. The paying customer was okay with the pocket change risk. Ask Rupert Murdoch about this marketing scheme and the conversation might rapidly transition to his family's vast fortunes.

Seductive, sensational, and bogus headlines found greener pastures on the Internet, and it remains an endless summer. Let's sidestep the "I am shocked, shocked I tell you" phase and accept for now that deception is part of the terrain. Let's move on to a more obnoxious form of clickbait.

I hate occluded clickbait. That is, I hate titles like "Hollywood Reacts to beloved star's Death." The editor has intentionally withheld the star's identity to prompt you to click on the link. What is irritating about this ploy is that the site has already captured your attention but now the webmeister intends to maximize your onsite clicks. They are slowing down your consumption of information to improve their standing with search engines. That is rude and insulting.

This writer is especially hostile to slide shows. Slide shows disrupt the flow of information. Material that might take seconds to scan and possibly dismiss just as quickly becomes an ordeal. The slides are arranged in such a way as to maximize clicks. A scroll down a long article would probably yield one site-based click. Arranged into a slideshow, the site can record dozens and dozens of coins in this digital currency.

Imagine a restaurant where the waiter's compensation is based on the number of trips to your table. Instead of serving the entree and leaving, the waiter has divided your burger and fries into 30 equal-sized portions. Want another bite? Just summon the waiter.

You just wanted a quick lunch and then get back to work. Now, the afternoon is dragging on and you only tested a third of your food. Yes, the waiter is prompt and only a few times did he add a commercial message before delivering the next morsel but your time is limited.

You consider voicing your concerns to management, but you know the deal. Management supports the paid incremental service because it satisfies the search engine gods. Without search engine grace, no one will even know of the bistro's existence. The best way to satisfy the gods is to increase the number of "internal links". Rather than expand into desserts or takeouts or new product lines, management has chosen to prolong your dining experience. Waiter happy. Boss happy. Search gods happy. If you are an idiot, you might also be happy.

Slideshows are an elevated form of obnoxious. Occluded Information Links (OIL) are almost as bad. Yes, we expect this sort of thing from msn. We don't expect it from Daily Caller.

The following links are all from today's Daily Caller home page.

ESPN Laid Off Female Host Days Before Her Wedding To NBA Player

If the female host (you mean hostess?) was famous enough to be mentioned in your article, should she not be mentioned by name? Same for the "NBA Player"?

From the same page:

Former Member Of Popular Band Says He Wasn't Credited For His Contributions

We were nice enough to visit your site, and this is how you extend your gratitude? I submit that this is more than a personal annoyance. This shows disrespect for the reader and disrespects the information as well. Truth might not be assaulted but it is certainly insulted.

Back to the NBA, also from the same page:

The Plot Thickens! NBA Star Makes Cryptic Moves, Adding Speculation That Elite Talent Is Headed To Iconic Franchise

Speaking of cryptic moves, Daily Caller is hiding the info once more.

The unimpeded flow of truthful information is an ongoing struggle. Today's chosen battle is the shunning of Daily Caller. We will still link to them if someone else points us to one of their articles, but why, oh why, would we ever again visit their homepage?

Bye-bye DC.

What Is A Celebrity?

2023-07-02T15:07:00.001-07:00

Who said a celebrity is someone who is famous for being famous?

According to Bing:

The term originates from an analysis of the media-dominated world called The Image: A Guide to Pseudo-events in America (1961), by historian and social theorist Daniel J. Boorstin. In it, he defined the celebrity as "a person who is known for his well-knownness".

Hmmm.

Circa 1976, when most American homes still only had access to three or four channels, and the fuse was still burning on what would be a cable explosion, Dick Cavett mused aloud at the dilution of fame. He had watched a recent version of a delightfully wacky game show called "Celebrity Sweepstakes" that featured six--what else?--celebrities. Cavett stated that he could only identify one or two of the acclaimed celebrities while reminding the audience, "...and I'm in the business."

Then we had cable TV and The Internet and more Internet and YouTube and Twitter and even more social media. The celebrity concept seemed to change with each technological advance. An evolving paradigm, if you will.

Predictably, the species has grown to Malthusian proportions. The numbers swell with the absence of anything resembling excommunication or retirement. There are no ex-celebrities. In 1969, Pope Paul VI removed over two dozen saints from the canonical roster of holy people. Recently, we have seen monument toppling, renaming of institutions, and even disinterment of fallen soldiers. Cancel culture has not struck celebrityship. Even if you are the third banana in a short run sitcom that ceased production several decades ago, you are still in the club. Once a celebrity, always a celebrity.

With that in mind, let me direct your attention to GLAAD's recent call for censorship.

Let us put the content of the letter on the proverbial back burner and examine the celebrity signatories. Get ready to scroll.

Without consulting IMDB, how many of these names do you recognize?

I could identify 6 of these by name and the name produces a picture in my mind.

I could list a show or movie associated with 5 of the listed.

There are about a dozen names that are familiar but do not bring trigger any mental association.

I am not trying to be intentionally daft and granted, I do not consume pop culture as ravenously as I did years (decades actually) ago. Still, I could identify more YouTubers or Civil War generals or past winners of the Indianapolis 500 than I can name from this list.

How many can you identify?

There Is No Right-Wing Hive Mind, But There Are Dozens And Dozens And Dozens Of Echo Chambers

2023-06-26T10:35:00.000-07:00

Let me state once more that I believe strongly in the non-existence of a right wing. I believe in a Leftist Hive Mind but I hesitate to use the geometric term "Left" because that implies a spectrum concluding with a "Right Wing".

The forces who oppose The Hive are so vastly different from The Hive that they should not be considered the same species. The chicken is not a right-wing equivalent of an ant colony. Nor is the weasel, the lamb, the slug, the leech, the snake, the turkey, the pig, the badger or the buffoon. All creatures great and small might fear The Hive but the similarities end right there.

We do not envy the Hiver whose only point of reference is her flattering house of mirrors. As free thinkers we can explore nature's many, many echo chambers. Some of us devote our time if not our lives to such pursuits.

Unlike the phobic, brain-dead Hivers, we can entertain ideas without submitting to them. There is no danger in what we hear, but there is danger in what we don't hear. That which we no longer hear. The contradiction, the falsity, the duplicity, the deception. The bull shit.

As with things like transparency, capitalism, and republicanism, eclecticism's flaws are better resolved by more eclecticism, not less. Truth is not threatened by eclecticism, it is refined by it. Truth is brought into focus by varied perspectives.

There is no far-right, alt-right, or right wing. There are only echo chambers.

The Democrats' Tribal Morality

2023-06-22T12:52:00.000-07:00

What is good for the Democrat Party is moral.

What is bad for the Democrat Party is immoral.

That is tribal morality.

Groupthink. No think.

This brand of fundamentalism permeates the soul of every Democrat.

There is no sense of common good.

There is no sense of shared interest.

The Party and only The Party is significant. Other is evil.

We saw this ethos on full display during the recent Durham hearings. Thumbnail: Durham reported serious crimes committed by high-ranking Democrats and their henchmen. Congressional Democrats attacked and vilified Durham and impugned his testimony.

If you just returned from a long cruise you might say something like "The republic cannot withstand unconditional partisanship! Western Civilization cannot endure this toxic fundamentalism! Our nation cannot survive an entrenched political party that is unconcerned with the welfare of our beloved country."

To which we might reply, "That was one long ass cruise, buddy."

You would have witnessed something similar when card-carrying liberals, Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, were ridiculed and insulted by Democrat Representatives after exposing "Twitter File" censorship. Every Dem Congressman was uncivil to the witnesses. Zero exceptions.

This has been the state of affairs for a long time. January 6 insurrection hoax. Widespread election fraud. BLM riots. Hillary's espionage and brazen destruction of subpoenaed data...we could go back to the Lois Lerner coverup. Crime. Scandal. Lawfare. Homicide. "What" never matters to the Democrats. They are only concerned with "who and whom".

Tribal morality trickles down to the rank and file. What you might see as abnegation, they see as loyalty to Team Blue. If the minions do not possess the expertise to slay a enemy, they can certainly be counted on to rig a judicial proceeding in favor of the Dems. Their capacity for destruction is only limited to their skill set.

There is no middle ground with fanaticism. We can hope for some sort of mass deprogramming. We can hope for a resurgence of the Walk Away movement. We can hope that millions of cultists reclaim their individuality. We can hope but it won't happen.

What is good for the Democrat Party is moral.

What is bad for the Democrat Party is immoral.

A Message To An Old Lefty Friend: It's Not Just That They Stole Your Mind

2023-06-19T13:57:00.000-07:00

No, we don't talk much anymore. Funerals and weddings maybe. I appreciate it when you text me that a mutual friend has passed away. In the old days, that would have triggered a phone conversation or maybe even a communal cup of coffee. No more.

Discounting the brutal effects the aging process has inflicted on this writer, I submit that I have not changed all that much. You, on the other hand, have undergone an ugly metamorphosis.

The Kool-Aid has been unkind to you. It has not turned you into a bad person and it certainly as not turned you into a good person. The Kool-Aid turned you into a non-person.

You are an empty shell of the human being we knew and loved. You are much like the aged relative wracked with dementia. Yes, we still love Uncle Harvey and we want to make sure that his staff keep him clean and warm, but that person we try to talk to is not Uncle Harvey. Not the Uncle Harvey we like to remember. That Uncle Harvey was sharp-witted and kind and loving. The person occupying Uncle Harvey's body is cold and fearful and incapable of exchanging ideas and perspectives. Nature has played a cruel joke on all of us.

Tell us what GOOGLE ET AL wants us to believe and I can tell you what your opinion happens to be, one hundred percent of the time.

Climate Change.

Election fraud.

January 6.

COVID containment.

COVID vaccine.

Donald Trump, of course.

The Bidens.

Kyle Rittenhouse.

It's a long list. If it's been in the news, your perspective has been assigned to you, and you guzzle the Kool-Aid with pronounced gratitude. So kind of your overlords to spare you the burden of thought.

But the greater tragedy is not that you surrendered your mind to the overlords, the worst part is that you have also sacrificed your heart and soul.

Many a Kool-Aid abstainer expressed sympathy with George Floyd at the first posting of his barbaric treatment. You waited until the overlords decided that Floyd would be a sanctioned victim and that his death could provide a venue for determining the outcome of the presidential election. On cue, your roaring sentiment would hit the stage.

As Floyd's death descended (from my perspective, not yours) into political theater, we would witness displays of conspicuous compassion. Each new event more animated than the last, culminating in arson and homicide, and "Black Lives Matter" lawn signs sprawled across the fruited plain. Virtue signaling and fund-raising and more virtue-signaling and more fund-raising. Pay no attention to the marionette's strings. Our hearts are big! Huge! Enormous! Gigantic!

When Ashli Babbitt was murdered in cold blood, the Kool-Aid abstainers reacted in horror. You, on the other hand, provided a laugh track. She was a Trump supporter for crying out loud! She walked into the Capitol! Death might have been too good for her! HAH HAH HAH! A real knee-slapper!

The laugh track would grow louder each time Babbitt's mother protested her daughter's death. She would be cruelly heckled and brutally handcuffed and a sidewalk memorial dedicated to her deceased daughter would be destroyed. Your sympathy, your empathy, your compassion will only be expended on designated political pawns. Insert laugh track here.

I remember a younger version of you, a different version of you, who was...human. You had a heart and a soul and you would have been sickened by Babbitt's murder and repulsed by her mother's abuse. Like Uncle Harvey, that person we knew and loved is long gone. Someone has played a cruel joke on all of us.

My Harshest Criticism Of Donald Trump

2023-06-12T11:15:00.000-07:00

My harshest criticism of Donald Trump:

You can judge a man by his enemies and in the case of Donald Trump, he checks all the boxes. Has there ever been a human being who has compiled a better gallery of antagonists? From Hollywood to Silicon Valley to Wall Street, and of course, DC, the worst of the worst have risen from their crypts to attack Donald Trump, his supporters, and the best things American.

The latest lawfare attack by Jack Smith and his band of Latter Day Nazis serves to enhance DJT's iconic value. He is the only thing evil fears. No one else scares them.

The Trump Administration was successful in bringing peace and prosperity. Better than both predecessor and successor. Trump hit the light switch Obama would never touch and Biden tripped over himself to turn the switch off. A second Trump Administration might be even more successful, but...

We were told by more than one pundit that Donald Trump is a sharp judge of character with a keen eye for talent. His intuitive business skills stemming from his looking someone in the eye from across the table served him well. A perfected skill honed over decades of practice. People sense. Social IQ. A character accountant more accurate than those mystics who read auras or chakras or energies. The master.

Why then, was every Trump appointee a disaster? Even before he landed on the White House lawn, Trump had selected Mike Pence as a running mate. His first appointee turned out to be a Judas. Let's not be too harsh, even Jesus selected a Judas. You pick 12 people and the law of averages catches up with everyone. But how do you select a turncoat every time?

Jeff Sessions would be Trump's first Attorney General. Sessions would open the door for Rosenstein, Mueller, Weissmann, CNN, the FBI, et al, to hold the Trump administration hostage and to boost Democrat performance in the 2022 mid-terms. One bad apple?

Sessions would eventually be replaced by deep state heavyweight, William Barr. Yes, Mr. President, you outdid yourself. Rotten apple gave way to cyanide apple. Three years into retirement, Barr is still working to destroy your administration's great work.

Trump fired the world's tallest dirty cop and replaced him with the equally corrupt Christopher Wray. Was there no one else available? No one?

Usually, a president can find a general who won't betray the country, but Trump seemed to fail in that endeavor. Yes, he did select Michael Flynn, but remember that Flynn got waylaid by two other Trump selections: Mike Pence and Jeff Sessions. Chief of staff is usually a safe bet but not in the Trump Administration. Were there any good selections at any office? Mike Pompeo? Nikki Haley? John Bolton? Rex Tillerson? It isn't even crystal clear that Trump's three Supreme Court appointees are who they claimed to be.

If I was advising Ron DeSantis, I would tell him to publicly support Donald Trump's war against the deep state. Yes, he fought the good fight and his values are sound, and his policies were damn near flawless and his enemies are my enemies, but he failed to crush those enemies. Trump is a good soldier but not a great general.

Not sure what campaign slogan to give DeSantis. "Fewer Benedict Arnolds Appointed" does not roll off the tongue. "Not As Many Loser Appointments"? Needs some work. "Lesser Disappointments!"? "Lower Quisling Content!"?

How about this one, Ron? "Drain The Swamp".

An Immodest Proposal: Tax The Non-Profits

2023-05-04T10:34:00.001-07:00

Frank Zappa wanted to tax the churches. OK, if we go down that road, should we not tax all other non-profit entities as well?

Two steps down that path and we are already looking for exceptions to the rule Tax the Wounded Warriors? Tax my alma mater? Tax my house of worship?

There is already a movement to alter religious entities' taxation status and its roots are planted not in rabid atheism, but in Christian fundamentalism. Some Christians believe that churches have an obligation to address political issues but in doing so, they would jeopardize their tax-exempt status. Fear of the taxman renders clerical silence on matters such as abortion, gay marriage, criminal justice, election fraud, and of course, tax policy.

At what rate should we bleed the untouchables? I say at the approximate rate that we drain for-profit entities. What is the present corporate tax? What is the current capital gains rate? Non-profits do not always have capital gains, although groups that hold real estate certainly do. Being spared property taxes as well as federal and state corporate obligations, isn't every dollar Harvard or Yale receives a capital gain?

A system is only as good as its loopholes. Exemptions should be given judiciously and uniformly and should be more the exception than the rule. I will let the many channelers of King Solomon hammer out the details, but I will pound the table and shout to the heavens that certain entities are never spared.

Let us show no mercy to the non-profit health care sector. These hospital-gobbling monsters have shamelessly money-grubbed in a style that would make a Murdoch blush. Have they elevated the quality of health care along the way? There was a time when we could reflexively answer more yes than no. That is no longer the case. Let these bloodsuckers start chipping in on a system that has so richly rewarded them.

At the risk of muting the pulpit, let us tax anything that is remotely political. This would include the Brookings Institute, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, anything with ties to Mark Zuckerberg, and Planned Parenthood, to name but a few. Let's also tax the Democrat and Republican parties, every PAC, and every campaign contribution. Sorry Jane Sanders. That 15 percent you rake off your corrupt husband's campaign funds will be pre-taxed moving forward. Even decamillionaires need to pay their fair share.

Tax exemption for non-profits arose in a more innocent time. It was a time when many leaders believed in concepts like "social benefit" and "the greater good". It was an era when institutions were not vulnerable to political infiltration, capture and ultimately weaponization. Let's get with the times. Let's tax the non-profits.

An Immodest Proposal: Tax The Taxman

2023-05-03T09:27:00.000-07:00

For the Union to survive, we will need a sound economy, minimal debt, a strong currency or currencies, and those conditions can only be met with the prior curtailing of federal spending. A tall order, no doubt.

Why not make revenue the only source of revenue? That is, why not suspend all current means of federal enrichment--income tax, corporate tax, capital gains--while taxing all state, county and municipal revenue at a one hundred percent rate?

Of course, this would mean that Uncle Sam would o longer play sugar daddy to his harem. This is an eventuality anyway. No grants, no funding of welfare or daycare or education or Section 8 Housing. The federal government would finance essential functions such as maintaining national defense, securing the borders and protecting our national parks. Entitlements, if they would exist at all, would be scaled down. Federal pensioners might receive a lump sum buyout. Austerity is not optional.

State and local revenues currently total about $1.9 trillion. Taxed at one hundred per cent, this would be our federal budget at baseline. States would immediately find their path to thrift. Schools might cut back on non-teacher salaries. State universities might eliminate disciplines of dubious value. DEI coordinators might find greener pastures in the private sector where their predecessors have already paved a way at places like Anheuser-Busch.

Sooner rather than later, state and local taxes would decrease, and federal revenue would decrease in unison. Should that number creep too low to maintain essential functions, we jump start a low capital gains tax that was completive with the rest of the planet. Say eleven per cent, or half or the current non-competitive rate? If we really cannot function on this budget, we could gradually introduce new "revenue streams" to meet, but not exceed the shortfalls.

You get less of whatever is taxed. Why then, do we not tax the taxman?
