Several months ago we were asked to contribute to Synonym Journal. The theme was duplicity and it was a lot of fun to come up with a relevant concept and to be able to shoot something that wasn’t just product related. Brannan shot in both film and digital and we were reminded of how much we prefer film over digital! We were really pleased with how it turned out and you can check out our contribution in the Synonym Issue 2: Duplicity now available at the shop. So many other great contributors too like Caitlin Emeritz, Nora Frank, and Ye Rin Mok

We were super lucky to be able to collaborate with the multi-talented Mimi Jung of Brook&Lyn on our latest lookbook. We spent a couple of days at a cozy little house in Pioneertown and ended up having some pretty perfect weather for the shoot. Leah Henken, our model who is herself a stylist, was such a good sport about running around barefoot and doing quick changes in the car.

Anyway, we’re so pleased with how it turned out and we hope you love it as much as we do. Thanks again Mimi – it’s beautiful!

These are some really amazing shades hand carved and finished by a family operated factory in Italy. So this week’s new arrivals come from two designers who are masters of the unique print – Dusen Dusen and Ilana Kohn, not to mention both have perfected the loose, easy summer dress. I’ve also added a couple more items from Osei Duro. There are new markdowns (up to 75% off) in our Sale section too

New accessories from Osei-Duro and Rachel Comey this week. This means three new footwear styles to choose from, and a new twist on Osei-Duro’s use of bogalon fabric. This week: massive arrival of ANNTIAN‘s SS13 collection. Christian and Anne always come up with the most gorgeous prints and I think this collection is my favourite. I’m particularly taken with the Big Bang jacket and the High Heel clogs in the doodle print.Anyway, make sure to check out both pages of our selection
