All over American Urban Community Organizations needs are growing and grants are shrinking. Electric Bills, Lack of Vocational Training staff, free programs and much more is needed. The Orgs listed below have created a free “suitcase” program that any organization can implement to start training people in Renewable Energy. It’s organized so that even someone who knows nothing about the subject can deliver it. The program also offers support in delivering the program virtually, including skyped “Solar Generator Building” and more.

THEY NEED YOUR HELP to have on site visits from people from Engineers Without Borders, Power Of Green L.A. and others, as well as, raise funds or barter for materials. Example: A 2000 watt portable Solar Generator can be built for less than $400! This in form of a U.S. City “quick tour” of orgs in major cities.

Example of need: A birthing clinic in America where the Electrical grid is faulty and the short term power outages are weekly! - A free clinic in Los Angeles that can barely afford their electric bill. - A 30 year old vocational training center in Chicago, closing due to lack of funds to re-train electricians back into the workforce.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Next week the Los Angeles City Council will vote on a resolution that calls on Congress to amend the Constitution to clearly establish that only living persons — not corporations — are endowed with constitutional rights and that money is not the same as free speech. If this resolution is passed, Los Angeles will be the first major city in the U.S. to call for an end to all corporate constitutional rights.

The campaign in Los Angeles is the latest grassroots effort by Move to Amend, a national coalition working to abolish corporate personhood. “Local resolution campaigns are an opportunity for citizens to speak up and let it be known that we won’t accept the corporate takeover of our government lying down,” said Kaitlin Sopoci-Belknap, a national spokesperson for Move to Amend. “We urge communities across the country to join the Move to Amend campaign and raise your voices.”

Big Bad 4-0 is no stranger to controversy. As a native of Colton, in California’s Inland Empire; a neighborhood affectionately known as “the zoo”, it kind of comes with the territory.
