Their example uses youtube video player embed code. Follow the video exactl – it's a detailed step-by-step demonstration – but in place of the youtube video player embed code they show in the example, use the embed code that EVP2 produces for you.

(Obviously, they can't show demos for every possible video player — that would be unmanageable, and it's the responsibility of your video player provider to show you how and support you – which they will).

Only the most basic info is available on Kajabi tutorials; and their support people refer you out to Amazon or to the video player maker, rather than just providing you with instructions on what you need to do.

I know this system of delivering video content is familiar to those at Kajabi, because their featured testimonials from the Kajabi launch, Jeff Walker, John Reese, et al., used this video delivery system on their Kajabi sites. The ability to integrate these systems was one of the main features that Kajabi promoted.

How can Kajabi just ignore support requests on this issue?

If anyone knows how to get information on this issue or of any expert coder who is familiar with integrating Kajabi with Amazon s3 and EVP2, I would love a referral!! Thanks, Lou!

We were going to hire a tech person / web master, but with Kajabi we found we didn't need one. It's so simple to use, and their support desk has been very responsive and timely when we did need them. I think the time and money savings on that alone justified the choice to use KJ.

I'm still getting better at using it, but so far I feel like it was a great choice for our workshop.

For folks who don't want to go the Kajabi route, I've been recommending they take a look at OptimizePress and WP Wishlist. Not free, but affordable. And no ongoing monthly fees.

The sticking point about Kajabi with most newbies is the monthly fee. It's not free, and it's not inexpensive, relatively speaking. For folks who prefer (or are in a business situation) where time is more abundant than cash … it might make sense to use simple, free tools until they get a selling and conversion system that makes money before incurring (yet another) monthly fee.

On the other hand, there are lots of newbies trying to get a foothold in their markets that don't have the tech savvy to use the free tools, don't know a webmaster they can trust and afford to pay, and just want to get something online fast. .. Kajabi may still be a good choice.

I can tell you this is a huge problem that people are facing everyday.

You might consider doing something with what you are currently going thru with your father and the issues, problems, and tribulations and how you are dealing with them and what other people might be able to do if they are faced with the same situation. Start a blog, put up a facebook page, create a free ebook/report and then start creating content based on what you know and have experienced. Eventually create a course or find someone that you can work with to create a course that addresses one of the biggest problems that us "kids" are now faced with when it comes to caring for our parents with diseases such as Alzheimer's. Either way, just get started doing something to get that experience and if it is already associated with what you currently know and have experience with that could make things a bit easier when trying to develop content. I am finding everyone's comments very helpful – I am a newbie with zero technical abilities, and was very interested in Kajabi, but I am going to reconsider. Before I completely move on, can anyone advise if you have had a successful experience with Kajabi?

Is there anyone who has had a successful experience?

I am in the Eben Mastermind group as well as on your mailing list – I am a HUGE newbie and I spend about 4 ours a days on training to get my business up and going. I have a niche and content just waiting to be released – I am looking for a platform that can help me do that.

When I say Kajabi I had very high hopes. I have never seen any other platforms and I am fumbling my way through the info product process with a WP coder.

I think that kajabi could work for me, but for the price I WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I should be able to get someone on the phone and work out my issues FAST. Clearly this service software is aimed at people like myself who want a turnkey solution, but there is simply not enough information to help me move along quickly enough to keep it. If I do not get some customer service in the next few days I will be cancelling my service.

I always get 0 replies to my status posts, I did only one post and I got 63 replies within almost 2 days. I've been approached by a local news paper, executives and corporate leaders to visit their facilities, I've been offered membership in an international committee for scientific discoveries

and I really don't feel like revealing what I did to do all of this for less than $5000 in a 1 or 2 hour video! I just don't accept it.

Can I do this, or do I have to give it out for free?

In the end – the right tool/resource/service is the one that we believe is the right one for us, and that gives us the ease and enthusiasm to market aggressively and move our business forward.

The Fusion HQ option along with a couple of other really great suggestions like Optimize Press etc. really look like great options and a little more organised and controllable.

In the last week alone, there have been two major releases that have addressed a number of issues that showed up during the launch and it's getting better almost daily. Yes, it have been better if all these had been addressed before the launch – definitely. But let me share a few other data points…

- I've been able to establish a launch funnel, a membership area and take transactions successfully.

- I've got clients that are creating membership sites and actually doing a launch (in the next week or two); and

- I am part of a mastermind group, many of whom are successfully preparing to launch their sites, and a few of them have already launched (using kajabi).

Is it perfect, no. Will it get better, definitely. But it's apparently at least good enough for some people to have already brought their products to market, and start running launches (which is the basic promise of the product).

Now, I can't imagine why they would delete your tickets without replying unless you were being hostile or rude – but I assume you were being very courteous and polite in all your communications – so perhaps they had a technology glitch, or perhaps they were tired from being overworked and mistakenly deleted/closed the ticket.

Bottom line is, if you are going to use kajabi right now, you may experience some bugs and delays as they work to meet the sudden surge in demand from the launch. It's growing pains, and they are working hard to address them. Certainly if this is outside your comfort zone to be an early adopter, you may want to wait a month or two and try again when they've had a chance to settle things down.

I believe you will receive more attention and faster response if you post these questions to the kajabi support team, as well as in the kajabi forums. There you will find many more kajabi users than on this post; and you will also get support from the creators of the software (including updates and fixes as they come out).

I've created a funnel event and a sales page with four "offers" attached to it. I used Kajabi's tutorial to integrate with PayPal, but now when I click on the "Add to Cart" button, the sales page just refreshes. Is there a waiting period that I'm not aware of? Or is there some step I've missed somewhere?

Also, I have absolutely no idea how any of this information gets translated to a separate domain – it seems like the only way to access these pages is to type in the xxx.kajabi.com domain provided to us, which we definitely don't want – if there's some domain registration/hosting available beyond what we already have, I don't know how to access it.

Third: The templates are very plain – stark, corporate, with a minimum level of customization involved. What I'm able to produce using these templates and what my client wants are on different planets. Does anyone know if there is an option to design the pages using HTML? Their current design options are just not going to work for us.

Fourth: What my client wants is a front page that contains "teaser" information about the memberships as well as links to streaming video and audio files that are not accessible unless someone purchases a membership. Is that what my "funnel event" page should be, or is there some way to generate an additional page that contains this information?

Fifth: There doesn't seem to be a way to directly link to the squeeze page I created – it has been published, but I don't know how people are supposed to access it. Typing our Kajabi domain name takes me straight to the funnel page, but I thought the squeeze page, when published, should show up first. Am I missing something?

Sixth: Is there any way to reorder the offers on my sales page without deleting them and starting from scratch in the correct order?

Seventh: My funnel page, which is again currently serving as a landing page for the site, does not automatically contain any links to the sales page or anywhere else – is this something I'll have to add using the HTML feature in the body of the page?

Eighth: All of the membership levels we're creating involve access to certain already existing products. However, I see no clear way to allow a member to access them once they've signed up. Do I need to host them somewhere else, then link to them via posts on the category pages? Or is there some way to upload them so that they immediately become accessible to the members on the Kajabi site?

Ninth: I don't currently see a place where existing members can log in – yet "previewing" the site indicates that there are different pages visible to different membership levels. How do I set it up so that the user can easily navigate it after they've signed up?

Whew, if you've gotten this far you've got more patience than I would have. I apologize if some of these questions have been answered already – I will go back and read through the thread in greater detail. I've also copied and pasted these questions into another support ticket (my third in two days, haha) to Kajabi.

Any help at all would be appreciated! Also, if any of you are feeling especially generous, I'd be eternally grateful for an email – ebwatson@gmail.com – and heck, there might be some free virtual assisting work in it for you! I'm quite desperate for as much information as I can get, as my client wishes to launch this week.

Here are some of the things that are not working for me.

1. Squeeze Pages don't work.
2. they said that members can cancel their accounts from within the profile and this is NOT the case. I have tried 4 times to get the support department to talk to me about this and they just delete my ticket and don't reply.
3. Upgrading from free accounts. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.

Are there any users out there who have moved to kajabi form membergate. looking for the best way to transfer our data but not gettign the best support form Kajabi HQ at the momnent.

Big issue is making sure we have the right shopping cart as we currentley use Sage Pay

Any Ideas?

I'll probably stick it out for the 30 days to see if things get better but why oh why did I postpone two launches in anticipation of using kajabi for them? Seeing other people on this blog who are still waiting for videos to be transcoded is scary too. Why aren't there any people raving about this product yet?

Does anyone know how to get Kajabi to collect the first name as well as the e-mail address on the squeeze page? (and potentially other info…)

It's not perfect, but I'm having a lot of fun with it so far…

I'm struggling with some challenges on Kajabi as well, but I can't complain about a 14 day free trial… when I can cancel at any time.

No, I think Andy is being more than fair with this… and the product has proven itself already… it is just a question of whether or not it is the right solution for a given person/launch/market/etc.

I'm in and getting a few things done successfully (like uploading video, creating community, creating users). I did a bit without tutorials.

One the flip side, I've had login issues similar to what other folks have mentioned. I tried to access the support area and it didn't recognize me as a user, so I had to email them.

I tried to play the video that I uploaded…it spun for at least 20 minutes before I logged out.

I then logged in as a user (free account). The display is a mess (I had this experience as well when I clicked on preview from the admin section. That scares me.

I am just over 2 months prior to launch…hoping that the bugs get worked out as I see some great possibilities with Kajabi.
