DO you have a smartphone and if you do what are the odds that you have your emails sent to your phone.. If you are like most of us that live online and make our money here knowing what happens as it happens in a alert or email is crucial for staying up to date with you online interactions. The most annoying thing I find when I have multiple notifications going to my phone is that they are all the same Ding or alert sound. I don't check emails as much as I do text notifications. So I recently did a study and since I have changed the notification for my instant messages and email I am saving more time and being more productive. SO how does one alert sound change have allot to do with it. well I would check my phone almost every time it chimed and 7 out of 10 times it was a email notification. So now I only check every time the chime that only indicates my instant message. This eliminates me removing my phone from its case and looking at it. Imagine getting hundreds of emails a day....so now I can be more productive with other distractions :)

"Be Warned of ARI Marketing Department"

Says a man that was employeed at this company and left due to some unforeseen issues.

I urge anyone looking to fill any of ARI's marketing positions (Including the Senior Marketing Manager position) to re-consider. ARI's marketing department is a complete joke. The entire "Marketing Department" consists of one crusty-old woman.. a woman who is way past her "prime", has been at the company way too long (20+ years as I recall) and has no clue what she's doing. She does not have a marketing degree or education of any sort and it shows! Because of her ARI has no style guides or any design rules, everything is done extremely half-assed with no original files to be had. When it comes to logic there is absolutely none to be had. She has over-spent and maxed out the company card on such stupid things as "renting fabric" to put around a table at a convention for hundreds of dollars because she couldn't plan accordingly and bring the correct materials to a convention. Her marketing plan at a recent convention included making rather "rude" adult-oriented buttons for people to wear that included sayings such as "Want to see my parts?" who would wear that?! And the outdoor power industry is well known to have many Christian/family type business owners who would be grossly offended by such adult sayings.

Years of poor planning and not-knowing how to market has done irreparable damage to the company. You will also enjoy her fake laugh and her fake "niceness" she will show you before being stabbed in the back. Don't offer her help either, people have learned from doing that as whatever help you give her she will use it to make herself look better and take all of the credit, Never giving credit where it is due.

Be wary and look for a job elsewhere, trust me, all of the good employees are now gone, the only people left who've been there more than 5 years are old crusty relics who for some reason knew the "right people" not to get fired or laid off (When I mean very few, I mean you can count the people who've been there for more than 5 years on 1 hand probably).

In recent years many media reporting companies for marketing agency's and power sports consulting groups announced how Mobile searches are on the rise and how to capitalize on the new way people interact with our websites VIA mobile devices. In recent studies I am finding out that few Mobile conversions are leading to a sale or lead generation. I feel most of this is due to the lack of a formidable payment and information gateway to safely store your information on the phone and when you are at a e commerce site that requires payment and personal information it will auto fill this and allow for payment options inside your digital wallet. This would allow a seamless transaction with no inconvenient down times. Its when your online system becomes UN user friendly is when the bounce rate of that application will be high.. So where am I going with this post...Don't fret and put all your eggs in the mobile search basket and allow the industry to mature a bit more before neglecting your desktop and relevant searchers.

If you have noticed lately the game of who is using what search engine is more apparent now than ever. I believe most of Yahoo newest traffic spike in searches is due to more search toolbar add on take overs. How many times have you downloaded a program or song and now you have a new default search tab for something you never wanted.... Now you are forced to use the default browser and 9/10 lately has been Yahoo. So yes if I was a internet marketing major and wanted to take over the market for searches and Google has already claimed throne what would I do. I would take on all the bugs and add on services and make a commitment for these downloads and making it Yahoo.

I have been doing SEO for quit some time now and have seen a huge change in how we interact with websites now. All your local directories for all your Powersports Listings and Location information typically allows your customer to review your data and rate it as well as give feedback. Now here is the problem no matter how good of a company you run there's always that 1% that you cannot please. Having a good online directory listing on all platforms opens you up to negative feedback at more of a rate as if you were not in the listing at all. I don't use them as A good SEO campaign can drive quality inbound traffic that can be predetermined by proper keywords and placement. How does local impact this? well your 1% goes and leaves you a negative remark and ranks you buisness poor even though you did what you could to satisfy the customer. Now not only has he made a bad claim but it is public!! And if that isn't bad enough now you are being scored lower on the search engines because of it. The new system with Google pulls from many sources and Local listings is one and them that Google aggregates the data and scores it accordingly based on feedback Usability etc... Today in the digital world we are faced with so many challenges that may hinder any great online marketing campaigns. I have personally seen many systems come and go and some still that are around and being utilized.. For example Automated content generation is a system that once is pre programmed with keywords and descriptions of the article you want to be repeated but in a variable sort of way. Creating custom content is a big factor when having a good digital footprint and staying their online. Google is always updating the system that determines the ranking factors to show you your results. In the time that I have been active I have never seen a Auto generated content system out rank my manual work. Not even close... But what if everyone did not have the knowledge that I do and want to tackle first page anyway what would one do.. Well I personally would not use automated systems.. anytime something other that natural key strokes gets imputed in to any article even if it is copy and pasted it is noted on server side. All these variables is what determines the over all score of your website and that ultimately determines where you are place in the search results.

I am gonna tell you something that may change your view on how you react with the Internet. I put together a series of searches and I will let you see the results. Some are GEO specific some are not. I have many methods I use to make a effective Internet marketing campaign successful.

Granted some I am not ranking #1 yet at but I am on the first page and climbing.. Its easy as 1.2.3 to get it done too!

In this search below I did a commonly searched keywords for up coming snowmobile season here in North America for 2013 Castle X Jackets. First link is owned by Castle X The following link is the first company or my competitor and then my work. I will out rank them soon I have to do some more tweeking ;)

On this general search term " 2013 Snowmobile for sale" Non geo specific you can from your location search this on Google and get the same highlighted results.... Not only did my off site SEO optimized pages get ranked but with proper social media implementation and linking it will get indexed as well.. Most of my over head for my hosting of sites are free. I tend to leverage better on Google accounts than any other platforms.. It shouldn't be Rocket science to rank easily with Effective Powersports SEO.... But yet few can get it done go figure... Video SEO and marketing is a great way to show your searchers what you are up to and how to utilize your product placement.. Its more than just doing a video and uploading it..Everyone thinks its so easy to appear magically out of luck on the internet... o-O Luck eh OK I will go with that... Granted NO ONE can guarantee first page Google for Dealership SEO or marketing. BUT with proper implementation and knowing the Policy that Google looks for well then you have a recipe of 99.9% success!

I am going to end this and say I could bore you with all my work and my Clients as to how they are already ranking very well and will always do so as long as I am in their corner!

Organic SEO VS PPC ...who has it better?

In the world of power sports Internet marketing you have very few solutions to reach your target audience You have many variables to look over demographic being the main thing. sure your print ads are there but we are talking digital advertising solutions. CTR is a term used to explain the Click through Ratio of your campaign or website. If you have a low CTR more than likely people are getting to the second click and are bored or lose attention and then leave.

In a PPC campaign you are bidding on certain demographic and keywords.. Can cost up to 2 dollars per click and that is not even a full conversion that is just one click. so the ROI on that is low but you are reaching a certain demographic as selected in the initial campaign creation,

Organic SEO- Although not immediate it has proven to be the turtle that wins the race scenario. If your initial investment was 2400 and your campaign was search able and track able for a solid year the CTR would be higher and convert more traffic to buyers or lead generators. The cost it would take to match the click cost of that campaign in PPC it would be far more expensive to have one campaign run for a year than it would be with a effective Organic SEO campaign put in place.
