HE AND TWO OTHER DOWNED PILOTS WERE WITH HIM FACES WERE BEATEN BEYOND RECOGNITION, HANDS TIED BEHIND THEIR BACKS WITH ARMED GUARDS WITH AK-47's WITH BAYONETS AT THEIR BACKS. THE CITIZENS OF HANOI WERE ALLOWED TO COME UP AND SPIT IN THE FACES OF THE PRISONERS AND SHAKE THEIR FISTS AND SHOUT OBSCENITIES IN VIETNAMESE WHILE OTHERS WERE DRUNK AND THREW POP BOTTLES, WINE AND BEER BOTTLES AT THE PRISONERS. WHILE YET IN THE BACKGROUND ANOTHER PRISONER WAS BEING DRAGGED TO DEATH BY A SPEEDING "VIET CONG" JEEP ALL IN FRONT OF THE HANOI HILTON WHERE THE OTHER TWO WITH HARLEY WHO WAS GREETED BY TO RUSSIAN KGB AGENTS AND TOOK HARLEY OUT OF VIETNAM.</b></div>
