what is CMOS?? CMOS or complimentary metal oxide semiconductor is a battery for computer.. What will be happens if the battery running low or leaking? Well, if this happens to your computer, your date and time will be reset every time you turn on the computer.. And also directly will make your performance computer running slow and some of the function will be terminate.. For example, you can access internet BUT u cannot surf internet like YouTube, google, Facebook and the others.. Beside that, user also cannot updated the latest updated of the windows. Basically, computer using the battery with code CR2032 and before, I had customer ask me, is this same with the battery that any shop sell it? NAH!it is not same. Unless the model same then it's fine.. I prefer before u change the battery, please go to any computer shop for advice from their technician. Maybe, you should just buy the battery and replace it by yourself.. Because it is very simple and easy for the replacement..The other thing is, if the battery got problem, some of your internal hardware cannot work properly.. So, don't delay it if your CMOS got a problem.. that's all for today. I am gonna shared again very soon about others problem related of computer.. Chaiyo

Auto Shut Down

We meet again here.. so today, I'am gonna share my experience about why my computer automatic shut down.. Basically, there has more reason why your computer auto shut down.. Base on my experience, it is because of the processor overheat.. Why this happens?? Most user only know how to use computer only but they don't really know how to do maintenance it.. Try to open your casing computer doesn't matter system unit or laptop and check the heat sink.. There probably full of dust and dirt..What we need to do? it's very, very and very simple.. Take the heat-sink out and clean it. Just brush it till all the dust and dirt cleaned..Easy isn't it? The second thing, check the thermal paste on chipset or processor. If it dried, clean the chipset or processor using a clean fabric.. After that, put a new thermal paste on it.. after all the thing is ready, re-assemble all the hardware again and you can use the computer again normally..

The others thing that make computer auto shutdown again because of the motherboard either.. In this case, i recommend replace a new motherboard with the same socket.. Why? in my place, to fix motherboard will be cost around MYR380@95U$D.. With this amount, you can buy a new one motherboard.. Most of it using AMD processor or AMD chipset.. If, u using AMD set, i recommend u put more fan inside the system unit or if laptop, try find a good cooler pad for your laptop..

Windows Problem

Me: Hello! what can I do for you?
Customer : Hello! Can you help me check my computer? It seems like i cannot log in into Windows. Do u have any idea what's wrong with it?

Basically, customer will ask this question to any technician computer. What is your solution? Will you tell the customer "ohhhhhhhh..better you smash it or throw it away cause this is the old PC". Perhaps customer will throw it to the technician after heard this ^O ^.. Well well, this is a simple solution for me.

The first think that you need to do is, try Turn On the computer first and if the windows really cannot log into desktop means, your Windows is corrupted. So, what you need to do in this case, explain to customer before you proceed the Re-formatting OS because sometimes, customer need their old data on the computer.

How I can backup my customer data IF I cannot log into windows? oh man! just press F8 after restarting computer and you computer will appear to safe mode after choose safe mode path.. How about Windows 10? IF you use windows 10, it is a little complicated to get into safe mode but don't worried, imma share a simple tips to get inside windows 10 safe mode. What u need to do is, press Shift and then click Restart on the start button. easy isn't it? that's how for Windows 10 work.

Another problem is, How do you backup your customer data if cannot log into windows or safe mode? My suggestion is, use Hiren Boot to backup the data or if u dont know how to use hiren boot then, just take out the hard disk and put into any computer that can work perperly than copy their data there(old school style).

How if you found the HDD have faulty part like bad sector? I suggest to all user, don't waste your time to waiting any technician fix this problem. Better tell to the customer to buy a new HDD and try to help him/her backup as many as can their data.

Anyway, Windows Problem happens because user don't shutting down the computer properly, user always force the computer shut down, unfinnished updating windows, also because of infected by viruses. So, i suggest, whatever you doing on your computer, follow step by step so that your system dont have a any problem.

Computer

A computer is a machine (mostly electronic) that is able to take information (input), and process it to make new information (output). Computers have existed for much of human history. Examples of early computers are the astrolabe and the abacus. There are four main processing steps in a computer, and they are: inputting, storage, outputting and processing.

Modern computers are very different from early computers. They can do billions of calculations per second. Most people have used a personal computer in their home or at work. Computers do many different jobs where automation is useful. Some examples are controlling traffic lights, vehicle computers, security systems, washing machines and digital televisions.

A computer user can control it by a user interface. Input devices include keyboard, mouse, buttons, and touch screens. Some very sophisticated computers can also be controlled with voice commands or hand gestures or even brain signals through electrodes implanted in the brain or along nerves.

Computers can be designed to do almost anything with information. Computers are used to control large and small machines which in the past were controlled by humans. They are also in homes, where they are used for things such as listening to music, reading the news and writing.

Modern computers are electronic computer hardware. They do mathematical arithmetic very quickly but computers do not really "think". They only follow the instructions in their software programs. The software uses the hardware when the user gives it instructions, and gives useful output.

Computer programs are designed or written by computer programmers. A few programmers write programs in the computer's own language called machine code. Most programs are written using a programming language like C++, Java, and Fortran. These programming languages are more like the language with which one talks and writes every day. The computer translates the user's instructions into binary code (machine code) that the computer will understand and do what is needed.
