Rs55/bottle of water - extortion for good food? - Mystic Cafe, Goregaon West - May 02, 2012

May 02, 2012: The food out here is still great, and I hold on to my food ratings as in my Jan review. But Rs.55 per bottle of mineral water with normal water not served at all is too bad. I am wondering if this is even legal in Mumbai. The flies bit RJsohail mentioned is also true, though it wasn't on the plate. Try it, but have enough water before you leave - because their great food is going to make you thirsty!...

Mar 30, 2012: The director seems to have stopped responding ever since the fat content became the centre of the discussion. Anyway, who cares? I tried it for the first time, and feel in love. I wish the chocolate machine had been working. I settled on strawberry, but no complaints! I'm sure no one wants to live on frozen yoghurt, its a good desert after a quick meal around Carter Road....

Mar 27, 2012: I'd been here last week, and was a bit worried the moment I entered. Overall arrangement does not give you a feel that it is professionally managed. But although they seems novice, the captains & waiters were very kind and did their best. I couldn't find any chicken in the soup, but everything that came thereafter was excellent: the murgh tikkas were tender, and the punjabi murgh masala - I couldn't have enough of it! The main course was delectable. Fresh, hot jalebi ended the meal in style....

One of the best Chicken Lollipops in Mumbai - J. Hearsche & Co., Bandra West - Mar 27, 2012

Mar 27, 2012: Chicken lollipops here come with a difference; they aren't full of artificial red color, really juicy & taste best with some lemon. I loved the Chicken (Mayo) roll, although my friends found it a little sweet. Chi Fried Rice was a bit dry, and so were the Chocolate Cakes I took home. But if you are looking for a quick grub in Bandra or a relaxed take-away to be enjoyed on Carter Road, this place guarantees VFM! Oh yeah, I'm yet to try the burgers!...

Chi Tikka Biryani like never before! - Kebab Junction, Goregaon East - Mar 16, 2012

Mar 16, 2012: This place has the best Chi Tikka Biryani I've ever had. Its a good joint for a rowdy dinner with guy friends - not a real family place. But recommended for deliveries in the Goregaon East area....
