It has really been a long time since any change in this blog. Frankly, I’m a little queasy about writing, because of a long gap. But, there’s a reason why I chose to write something today. It’s an important message that I need to convey. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

There is no doubt about the fact that most of us are occupied with a hell lot of things to do. Most of us either work for 6 days a week or 5 days. Meetings of the office, wasting time in traffic, work pressure, overtime, kids, family etc, all these factors eat away most of our time during the weekdays. Thus, we don’t have time for most of the things like spending time on ourselves. Most of all we don’t have time to just maintain an organized place to live. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

In the worst case one may find himself amidst scattered newspapers all over the house, unwashed vessels, unwashed clothes, food dropped in the kitchen, overflowing dustbins, messed up wardrobes, books littered everywhere, dusty windows and fans, old rotten vegetables and fruits stacked up in the refrigerator, all the chairs in the house will be either preoccupied with clothes to be washed or something else. And bathrooms… well I don’t want to further describe this. All this and probably even more can be added if you can imagine. I am not sure if this is a normal thing to happen. But in most of our lives this is the truth. Most of us live in a mess. And most of us do not actually know what are the things present in the house. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

What next? If someone thinks that he’s happy with the mess around, good for him.  But if you really want to get all the mess out, then do it. Take out some time and just do away with all unwanted useless stuff, which has been stacked up for months or years together and retain only the things you really want. My request is please don’t get emotional when it comes to throwing away unwanted stuff. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

One interesting trait that I have seen among people i.e. they do not want to get rid of old stuff that they do not use. They just want to keep it with them, even if it is worth nothing. It is something that has to do with their emotions. They just won’t let it go. Examples: an old suitcase that has been rusted and makes a creaking noise, waste clothes, old bulbs and appliances that have been damaged etc. If you have this special trait in you, please give it up. Yeah, that suitcase or those old clothes might be really close to your heart and storing them will provide comfort not only to you, but also, to some domestic pests. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Being a lover of cooking, the most sacred place in a house for me is the &lt;a href = http://foodforjoy.blogspot.com target = “_blank”&gt;kitchen&lt;/a&gt;. Unluckily right now I don’t have access to any kitchen. But a messy kitchen in someone’s house is my turnoff. Kitchen cabinets, sinks, shelves, and slabs; all these can be a hub for pests if not maintained well. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

This, I do not want to tell, but then it’s a horrible feeling to see girls/ladies messing around their kitchens or rooms. I mean, not being neat and hygienic at your kitchen is the worst thing. The site of dirty vessels stacked up in the sink is a pain to the eye. I’ve heard stories from my friends who stay at rented flats. Someone is not ready to wash the vessels because it feels dirty. Someone doesn’t want to mop the floor for the same reason. Hence, to them, it implies that keeping the house as it is, dusty and dirty feels clean. ;) &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Till I came to Bangalore and started living here with girls of my age I didn’t bother about these issues. But after I did, I realized most of us do not give a damn to hygiene and cleanliness. I’m in a way lucky that I didn’t have much of bitter experiences as my other friends did. In short I just want to convey to all, please, try to incorporate some amount of neatness at your living place. It is your place after all. &lt;b&gt;Even a tiny creature like an ant can so beautifully make a comfortable stay in its anthill for itself, then why not you?&lt;/b&gt; There should not be excuses on your mind that you have a small space or you stay in a paying guest room. It is still possible to make it look great. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

It is not only about cleaning your house today. &lt;b&gt;It is also about maintaining the same neatness and hygiene every single day without compromising on it.&lt;/b&gt; If you start getting involved into neatness and cleanliness, at one stage maintaining cleanliness becomes a habit and sometimes you might get obsessed with it too. Just don’t allow this obsession to be an irritation for someone else living with you. Give them some space and time and just let them know indirectly how you would want the place to be. They also will learn from you. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

I have my message conveyed and it feels good. Even if one person changes his/her lifestyle, it’ll be even better. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Among all the problems we face, nothing is as big as a health issue. Be it being anemic, being allergic to food, falling ill at every month of the year, most of them ignore their food habits and get lost in their professional lives. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Right now I stay away from home and that means I’ve to take care of my food intake all by myself. The problem comes when nobody stops you from eating junk food. At home, parents are there to see to it that you are fed well. Even if you need fried food or sweets they’ll make it for you. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But what happens when we are all by ourselves? An urge gets into us that force us to eat the ever-tasty junk food we get outside. There is absolutely no harm if we have such foodstuffs once in 15 days or so. But when it becomes a frequent habit we can’t stop its effects either. We get so busy with our lives at times that we don’t have time to have food even. Coincidentally I just came across a person last week who has a really weird food habit. He works in an XYZ company. The issue about him is that, he chooses to eat only twice a day. Worst of all he relies on junk food like wafers, chaats, and fried food in order to avoid hunger. When you look at him you'll know he's not okay. He looks lean, pale, weak and has several health issues. I asked him whether he has met any doctor and whether he has any plans of changing his job and his food habits. He just shrugged and said its a routine for him. He doesn't mind being the way he is. I was stunned for the moment. He knows things are not okay with him, but his work seemed to be more important for him. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;My piece of advice and the lessons I've learnt till now...&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;1. Its true that work load can be too much. We may need to skip a meal or postpone a meal by few hours. But before any such situation arises just remind yourself that a “healthy you” is more important. Take a break for 15 minutes and feed yourself with something good. Nothing more is required. &lt;b&gt;No boss will tell his subordinate to skip food. If he does, then, just leave a comment on this post with your name. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. Most of the times we go for shopping and we tend to get the urge of eating something tasty like chaats, chips, some fried stuff or pizzas, burgers etc. My piece of advice would be, to go for shopping immediately after having breakfast or immediately after a lunch. Don’t ever go to a super market or a mall on an empty stomach. You will end up purchasing loads and loads of unwanted eatables that you actually need to be far from. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. If your intension is to lose some weight, then don't do a foolish thing of skipping meals. Just reduce content of fat in your food. Losing weight doesn't mean that you need to cut down on  vitamins. Rely more on fruits and vegetables if you really want to stay healthy and lose weight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. Food is something you need to enjoy. I feel "eating is a feast". But don't make it a nightmare by gulping huge amounts of junk food. Eat healthy and even if you feel the urge of having junk don’t make it a daily habit. Once in a month and in worst case once in 15 days is just fine.  &lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I know I'm too old to watch such kind of movies, but, I still do watch them ;) The lyrics were so soothing, so calm that I can listen to it and go to sleep. :) I then thought I'll record the lyrics of this song on my blog. I just came across a story which is from the book &lt;i style="color: #660000;"&gt;"Chicken soup for the soul: 101 stories to open the heart &amp;amp; rekindle the spirit" By Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is a real story experienced by the author Jack Canfield. He describes one of his experiences regarding following dreams.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I thought I would share it with you all. &lt;br /&gt;

Jack explains the story as thus.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;b&gt;I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk programs.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;The last time I was there he introduced me by saying,&lt;/b&gt; &lt;span style="color: #351c75;"&gt;“I want to tell you why I let Jack use my house. It all goes back to a story about a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses. As a result, the boy’s high school career was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="color: #351c75;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #351c75;"&gt;That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre dream ranch.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #351c75;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #351c75;"&gt;He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he received his paper back. On the front page was a large red F with a note that read, ‘See me after class.’&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #351c75;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

It has been a year since I started this personal blog of mine. A simple thought just struck my head and it manifested into a blog. I don't know how far I've been able to convey my thoughts to you or how far people have understood what I write, but yes, it has been a superb experience once I started blogging and entered the online world.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;After a year's experience I would say that blogging is essentially an open online personal diary where you write down your thoughts. Neither was I good at writing before, nor did I think that I'll be one :) It just started with a thought, which I decided to write it down somewhere and preserve it. This essentially became a practice and now I find it easy to write something whenever I want to. Now, I have a passion towards to writing and will definitely fuel this new found hobby of mine to give it more speed and shape.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;After 7 months of experience in blogging I started a food blog i.e. &lt;a href="http://cookpratiba.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;b&gt;"TICKLE YOUR TASTE BUDS"&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; which was initially named as "Pratiba's food World". Again, cooking is my new found passion. :) Everytime I get some new idea to kill my time it certifies as an apple of my eye :) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In today's world there are only few people who do not complain about their &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;troubles and hitches. So it becomes very difficult to accept "Law of Attraction". One may arise with several arguments saying "Law of Attraction" is only an attractive looking deceptive theory. All this is definitely likely to happen. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: red;"&gt;But only when one starts applying it in his/her life, it explains itself. There are diverse affairs written in the book which I am still trying to digest. In fact, I am still surprised that the book has pointed out every mistake that we usually do but aren't even having the slightest awareness of it. I don't know how Rhonda Byrne has written such a phenomenal book. &lt;b&gt;I am completely awed with the reality. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;It is obvious that when a girl gets to know something new, she has to get on to tell it to the others. This is what I too did. ;) I told it to my friends and wrote a blog about it. Some listened to it and just left it to that moment. Some listened to it and applied it upto a small period of time and forgot about it completely. Some listened to it, got amazed by it, are still applying it, realizing new concerns and relishing the fruits of the results. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;I have a friend who is originally an extremely positive, bubbly and a vibrant person. But at one point of time he was plunged completely in his own issues and never was ready to hear anything. I had to give him the video but he wasn't in a state to watch it at all.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Later after quite a few months when he was quite free, I gave him the book directly to read, as he's a voracious reader. He read the book within no time and realized exactly what was expected from him. He himself asked me the video, watched it, understood it. In fact he knows much more than me now and effectively applies it. He has even spread the word in his home with his family and they are the most happiest of families I have ever seen till date. Touch Wood. :) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Most of the times it is me who is down with something. At that point it is he who knocks my head and reminds me of what I had told him.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;There are many such instances around the world. It is just a matter of not giving entry to the thoughts which make you feel bad. Everyone, including you and me have thoughts that make us feel bad. But it is upto the individual to allow or not allow the thought to conquer our minds.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;It is indeed very difficult to monitor thoughts. And anybody will go crazy if you ask him/her to monitor his/her thoughts as there are about 60,000 thoughts that go through a human mind every single day.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We can only attract positive thoughts if you feel good about what you have around you. That is the only essence. Gratitude is the requirement here. Having gratitude towards whatever you have is the next essence. Then you will welcome a chain of soothing thoughts to your mind. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Cribbing, complaining, arguing, fighting, frowning your face all the time, getting disturbed for trivial issues, longing for something that is far from practicality all these are something you need to keep yourself away from.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The law of attraction says like attracts like, and so as you think a thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you. Here are more examples you may have experienced of the law of attraction in your life:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Have you ever started to think about something you were not happy about, and the more you thought about it the worse it seemed? That's because as you think one sustained thought, the law of attraction immediately brings more like thoughts to you. In a matter of minutes, you have gotten so many like unhappy thoughts&lt;br /&gt;
coming to you that the situation seems to be getting worse. The more you think about it, the more upset you get. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You may have experienced attracting like thoughts when you listened to a song, and then found that you couldn't get that song out of your head. The song just kept playing over and over in your mind. When you listened to that song, even though you may not have realized it, you gave your full attention and focus of thought&lt;br /&gt;
to it. As you did that, you were powerfully attracting more like thoughts of that song, and so the law of attraction moved into action and delivered more thoughts of that song, over and over again.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The law of attraction doesn't care whether you perceive something to be good or bad, or whether you don't want it or whether you do want it. It's res-ponding to your thoughts. So if you're looking at a mountain of debt, feeling terrible about&lt;br /&gt;
it, that's the signal you're putting out into the Universe. "I feel really bad because of all this debt I've got." You're just affirming it to yourself. You feel it on every level of your being. That's what you're going to get more of.&lt;br /&gt;

The law of attraction is really obedient. When you think of the things that you want, and you focus on them with all of your intention, then the law of attraction will give you exactly what you want, every time. When you focus on the things&lt;br /&gt;
that you don't want — "I don't want to be late, I don't want to be late"—the law of attraction doesn't hear that you don't want it. It manifests the things that you're thinking of and so it's going to show up over and over and over again. The&lt;br /&gt;
law of attraction is not biased to wants or don't wants. When you focus on something, no matter what it happens to be, you really are calling that into existence. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When you focus your thoughts on something you want, and you hold that focus, you are in that moment summoning what you want with the mightiest power in the Universe. The law of attraction doesn't compute "don't" or "not" or "no," or any other words of negation. As you speak words of negation, this is what the law&lt;br /&gt;
of attraction is receiving:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
"I don't want to spill something on this outfit."&lt;br /&gt;

Never did I imagine that by the time the evening of this day comes I will be meeting a couple of people just like you and me yet different in one aspect. Never did I imagine that I’ll be witnessing a sudden unexpected death of a person who is just in the next room. But it did happen. Personally it is a real big experience for me. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Readers, I visited a palliative care center on this day. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some of you may wonder what a palliative center is. Let me just brief through the idea behind this concept. A palliative center is a place where people who have a disease or a health condition that has reached a peek point such that even the doctors have declared that there is no hope that they can live. The patients usually suffering from the last stages of cancer or an incurable tumor in some part of their body or any other serious health disorder, which is found to be incurable, would be found here. The main intension of such a kind of center is to ensure that the patient dies a peaceful death without being irritated with the gloomy environment of a hospital. A patient will never feel comfortable in a hospital environment if he knows he is going to live for only few more days. It is very hard to take care of these kinds of patients at home because there would be a need of assistance to take care of a seriously ill person since he/she is in the last stage of life. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palliative_care" target="_blank"&gt;The goal is to prevent and relieve suffering and to improve quality of life for people facing serious, complex illness.&lt;/a&gt; Everybody has a right to die in a dignified manner. Hence the relatives can admit the serious patients to a palliative center where there are good facilities for such patients. It is advisable that one loved one stays with the patient always. There are also good rooms where the relatives can stay there. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;This concept has been taken from the Americans. They have built many of these kinds of palliative centers and in US and UK these centers exist in quite good numbers. In India this concept is yet to get evolved. It was introduced into India just around two decades ago. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The center which I visited today is the “Ave Maria Palliative Care” center situated in Vamanjoor area of Mangalore. It is the only palliative center in Mangalore and established by a lady named Dr. Lavina M. Noronha. She is experienced in her work and has held good credits fro herself. She has done her M.Phil. Through several references in the Internet I got to know she had a good experience of clinical practices in USA in a Hospice, Crisis Respite, and Employee Assistance. [Hospice is again similar to a palliative center but there are differences between the two.] She held a position in USA in Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. She decided to come back to Mangalore, India and establish a palliative center in the year 2008 since she felt that Mangalore city required one. She is a humble, soft spoken lady, she has seen many lives and it is very good to talk to her. I salute her initiative. She is now a source of inspiration for me. I had gone with my friends as a group with Mr. Nandagopal and his wife Mrs. Sachitha who run an organization of their own in Mangalore. We went in and had a talk with Mrs. Lavina. There were a group of kids with us, who were asking her questions, which cannot be asked directly with a patient. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;We were sitting and having a chat with Mrs. Lavina, asking her about her experiences after establishing the palliative center. She said there were about 80 patients who got admitted into the center. The youngest patient who got admitted was a 39 year old lady who had brain tumor. She started losing control over most of the parts of the body. She couldn’t swallow food, she couldn’t move around her hands, eventually the brain couldn’t control her body and lastly even the heart stopped functioning and that ended her life. There was one lady who was suffering from the last stages of cancer and who was claimed to have a life of only 3 weeks by the doctor. She got admitted into the center but she eventually became normal. One year passed and then she got discharged. Miraculously she is still living now. Touch wood. Mrs. Lavina says that some questions do not really have answers such as, why the doctor was so wrong.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The most touching experience comes here. As we were talking a nurse calls Mrs. Lavina. Later after 10 minutes Mrs. Lavina comes and tells us that one of the patients just breathed his last breath. I was in a trance for that moment. He was right in the next room. “He just finished having Raagi a while back”, Mrs. Lavina said. After completing the talk we went to the room where he was lying. First thing that came to our minds was that, he died a peaceful death. He was 69 years old and was suffering from tongue cancer. It was due to smoking that caused it. &lt;b&gt;No doubt we all have to die someday. But it is better that we are not tagged as people who lost life because of smoking, tobacco chewing or drinking. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;His body was still warm. I touched his hand. I didn’t feel that he was no more. I felt as though he was just in deep sleep. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;One lesson to be learnt here, we need to be prepared to witness anything to happen in our houses or in the room next door.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;One thing that was pretty much nice about the center was that every room was named after flowers. There is a board in font of every room that had flower names. Mrs. Lavina said that she didn’t want to keep numbers to refer to the rooms; she named the patient’s rooms after flowers. Rose, daffodil… these are the names I can remember right now.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Next we met a patient who was suffering from colon cancer. Colon is a part of the body near the spine. There are many causes of a colon cancer. It could be because of the genetic reasons, or due to the environment, due to smoking etc. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The person, who we met, was a cook in Iraq. He had 18 years of experience. He cooked for the Iraqi soldiers. He was also there in Iraq during the Iraq war and he was cooking for the soldiers at that time too. It was thrilling to meet such a person. He was in high spirits. He is so positive that he knows he will be healthy within some more time and get discharged from the center. And it did look like that. He never looked like as though he was ill. Although he has lost a lot of weight, but otherwise I noticed he was as normal as we are. He goes for a small walk everyday. In fact he is the one person who is quite active in the center. He knows 18 different languages. He said that one needs to know many languages. One has to try and learn new languages. And knowing and understanding English is a must. &lt;b&gt;I remember he said a line “Eegina kaaladalli English baradidare ondhu glass neeru kooda sigudilla” [It’s in Kannada language: Meaning: “In today’s world if we do not understand English we won’t even get a glass of water”]&lt;/b&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;It is indeed truly said. I felt ashamed of myself for the reason being, that I sometimes tend to complain of a small cold that catches me and get annoyed with it. A person being very calm and cool at a serious stage like cancer is a live example of immense positive thinking and optimism. People, who complain about their head ache, feet ache, Leg pain, hand pain, tooth ache, stomach ach, etc. should to be quiet and not complain anymore.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Later he himself started motivating each one of us to do well and make a bright future for ourselves. I am still amazed by the way he spoke to us. He also said that it was good we visited the center, so that we get an exposure of the things that happen around us but yet we aren’t aware of them. Students always keep visiting the place very often is what we got to know. I am happy that children are getting an exposure to such aspects. We took his blessings, touched his feet, and shook hands with him. He was delighted to see us. He requested us to pray for him. I will keep him in my prayers.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Later we met a lady who was ill with brain tumor. She had an operation, but one side of her body is paralyzed after the operation. She had bandages on her head. It was a pain to see her. She was getting an itching sensation on her head but she wasn’t supposed to touch it. But she would tend to scratch it unconsciously while sleeping. That’s why, one of her hands were tied with a towel to the bed so that she doesn’t accidentally hurt the operated part of the head. She is put on a water bed so that she doesn’t end up with a bed sore because of immobility. She spoke very less. She could smile though.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Then we visited another lady who had stomach cancer. My head started spinning when I was hearing her story. Her stomach always gets filled with a liquid every month and she is supposed to get the liquid removed in a hospital. It involves the use of a machine with a pipe and usually around 5 liters of water is removed from her stomach every month. She just had arrived from that treatment. It seems this time only 3½ liters of water. (Liquid) She was tired. Her stomach was bulged. She couldn’t look at us properly. She wasn’t in a mood to talk. A feeling of helplessness was hovering in my mind.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;There was another patient who was a very old man. We didn’t go to see him. He was paralyzed and was undergoing a massage treatment at that time. He was fully dependant on the nurses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I didn’t see death of a human being from so close. And I never have seen a person till yesterday who knows he has not many days to live, but yet is living today.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;I know what I have in my hands right now, a beautiful life. This experience just comes to me with many messages. I know what the messages are. We all want and wish for something at every step while leading a life. Be it at work, at home or in a social circle, we all want to be loved and liked by all. I learnt, from a very close friend of mine, that each person in this world has three phases in his/her life which go in parallel.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Personal life (family)&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Professional life (work)&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Social life (friends)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Everybody wishes to have a successful life and a life which is full of happiness and satisfaction. Satisfaction comes only when you have achieved something that you longed for. This gets us happiness. A simple logic, but it is true.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Year 2009-2010 for me has been a year of ups and downs. It was in this year itself that I met a few very good friends, who inspired me and showed me the right way of carrying out any task. &lt;br /&gt;
I realized that I do have a lot of potential within me including my writing ability. I never knew that being a 22 year old girl I could realize so many things at once, learn them and apply them whenever I remembered them. Somewhere I have been very lucky that I found those real good friends.&lt;br /&gt;
There are some things that I have to improve on, which are really small to look at, but very important from the perspective of leading a healthy and practical life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I just wanted to write it down somewhere so that I don’t forget it. I then remembered that I have a blog which I can open and read at any time and also everybody can have a look at it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These are a few of those things I have to improve on:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Get more organized at work.&lt;br /&gt;
• Sleep for only 6 hours/day.&lt;br /&gt;
• Learn one new thing everyday.&lt;br /&gt;
• Spend more time on painting and cooking. (Two hobbies that are my favorites)&lt;br /&gt;
• Stay away from objects that tend to frustrate me.&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop being lazy. (In terms of keeping my room and home clean)&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop procrastination.&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop getting disturbed over small issues.&lt;br /&gt;
• Keep a smile on my face always.&lt;br /&gt;
• I’ve gained control over my anger, but still internally “at times” I do get annoyed. Need to control this too :)&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop worrying about what others are thinking about me.&lt;br /&gt;
• Finish reading a good book, preferably a self help book every month.&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop complaining about anything. (It actually worsens things)&lt;br /&gt;
• Interact more with friends.&lt;br /&gt;
• Interact more with my parents.&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop gossiping (This is inbuilt in all girls. And I have to stop this.)&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop over analyzing things.&lt;br /&gt;
• Stop getting disturbed when somebody is throwing tantrums on me.&lt;br /&gt;
• Spend some more time with my parents.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The list doesn’t end here. I remember only these things for now (Thankfully you will not have to read more ;)) I will update this particular blog whenever I want to add something. Improvement starts from within, only then I can do something good to others. I can take the initiative of helping somebody improve only if I am improving from within. &lt;b&gt;There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;&lt;font face color = "blue"&gt;"I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The first story is about connecting the dots.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It wasn't all romantic. I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My second story is about love and loss.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I was lucky — I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation — the Macintosh — a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me — I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My third story is about death.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor's code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I'm fine now.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This was the closest I've been to facing death, and I hope its the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960's, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.&lt;br /&gt;

It feels really great today. :) Just feel like doing things I like. I just want to keep up to this motivation always! :) I'll never give up on anything, or else I'll be a loser by my eyes. Today is a day when I have realized that every single anxiety of ours has a tiny solution. But we, like fools, fail to realize the solution just because of the emotional garbage we keep in our heads.  &lt;br /&gt;

I just wish people motivate themselves somehow by thinking of innovative new ideas that solves things that worry them day and night like how I did.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I do agree at times we’re really troubled by the thoughts and various incidents happening in our life. But still I think we can give way to the new ideas that want to knock our minds. We can gift ourselves with good and healthy thoughts. It is indeed in the game of mind. If we want a change to happen, I realized that we need to open all the doors of our minds. Choice is ultimately ours. Flaw in us gets corrected gradually if we fine tune our thoughts. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What we do usually is that, we allow unwanted thoughts to come to our mind and never give way to those good old wonderful thoughts that will bring so much excitement as I am in today. Of course, this has happened because I wanted to improve and I have maintained an excellent friend circle around myself outside my college life too. We need to be in the company of good people who would charge us up when we feel let down. Most importantly we also need to give company to those who need us during their tough times.&lt;br /&gt;

I get motivated easily, but that’s not enough. I need to retain this motivation. That needs me to recall healthy things everyday. I have to do this to stay charged up always. Robin Sharma says “Anything you do for 21 days consistently, it becomes a habit eventually.” &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When you get a new idea, don’t let it evaporate after a few days. Keep up to your motivation to do it. One of my dreams is to build a platform for my long loved childhood hobby of drawing. Today I got a marvelous plan for this which I never had given a thought initially. I always had a thirst for enhancing my creative ability. Initially I wasn't prepared to make it my profession. But it is indeed fun if you have made your hobby as your profession. You'll end up putting in much more effort than you can imagine. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now that I’ve shared one of my dreams with you, it’ll become stronger. I’ll be always worried about achieving it, since I’ve told it to so many readers around and this blog is going to be there as a proof. Good for me. :)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

But its not how much you blog that counts, but how well you blog. This time I’ve decided to share a small learning but still it has a very deep meaning by itself. What I’m going to write now involves the most important people in our lives, i.e. our grandparents, our parents, our children and of course, our inner soul. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What I’ll be telling you now, may be known to some of you. Well, I got to know it through one of the inspirational talks given by &lt;a href="http://www.sujitlalwani.blogspot.com/"&gt; Er. Sujit Lalwani &lt;/a&gt;. It is indeed the best concepts I’ve ever learnt till date. Personally I’d give it a rating of ten on ten. :D&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ok let me come straight to what I’ve to say. It goes like this.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Imagine that your five types of fingers are assigned to the following people. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. Your thumb            -&amp;gt;  Your grandparents&lt;br /&gt;
2. Your index finger   -&amp;gt;  Your parents&lt;br /&gt;
3. Your middle finger -&amp;gt;  Yourself&lt;br /&gt;
4. Your ring finger     -&amp;gt;  Your soul (Your inner self)&lt;br /&gt;
5. Your little finger    -&amp;gt;  Your children&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ok. Now hold all your fingers in the following way.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

As shown in the photo above, join your thumb, index finger, ring finger and little finger of both your hands. But your middle finger you need to fold and join them. Observe the above photo keenly. :D :D&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Keeping your hands in this position, try separating your thumbs keeping all other fingers joined. This means that our grandparents will one day separate from all of us. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Again keep your hands in the same position and try separating your index finger. Note that you need to keep the rest of the fingers joined. This means that our parents too will one day get separated from us. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Again keep your hands in the same position as in the photo. Now try separating your little fingers. This again means that we have to get separated from our children one day. Again here please note that you need to keep the other fingers joined.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now come the most interesting part. Keep your fingers in the position as in the photo, and now try separating the ring finger keeping the other fingers joined.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Keep trying……………….. Keep trying…………………… &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now tell me whether you could separate the ring finger. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can’t separate the two ring fingers, whatsoever. :D &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Reason: Our soul will be a part of us always and we just cannot live in this world without our inner self. It is an unbeatable concept that can be interpreted in any way possible. Some people say that is a vein that runs from ring finger directly to our heart and that is why we wear the wedding ring in that finger. And our life partners are the most ultimate companions for many of us. Hence we can’t separate the two fingers.&lt;br /&gt;

This beautiful concept was actually introduced by the ancient Chinese. This is one amazing facts that I think everybody needs to know, understand and realize. Our life is fully driven by our inner self (our soul). All our desires take root from our subconscious level of thinking and we tend to get what we think at that level at the end of the day. So we need to be careful in what we think. Little instances of negative thoughts may come, but it may not cause much harm to the reality if your positive thoughts are much stronger. But extra negative thinking can make you pay a heavy price. So we need to be little careful in our subconscious thinking. And this reminds me of a saying which goes like, “If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t. In both the ways you are right.”&lt;br /&gt;

I HAVE LIT THE MOMENTUM OF WRITING AGAIN&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* * * * * * * * * * * * It feels good to be back to writing after a lengthy delay of 20 days. I don’t have any reason as to why I didn’t write. Few days back somehow, unexpectedly, I decided to post my pending article. Yes I was and I am not satisfied with what I had posted earlier. Few said “there’s nothing wrong about it…” yet some others sided my thoughts that I could re-write the same. Some others kept quiet. But I’ll go by what my heart says. I’ll keep writing, writing, writing, writing…………………………… until my heart says “I’m happy”. Still if not satisfied, (((((don’t doubt))))), I will write it again. ;) I don’t mind doing it ‘n’ number of times or if this becomes a trend for me either. ;)  Nevertheless, when in doubt I’ll re-write. (As once tweeted by &lt;a href="http://www.twitter.com/ashok567"&gt; ashok567 &lt;/a&gt; ;)) Even I’ve to follow what I’ve written. I can’t simply write things or post articles without practicing them myself. ;) The kind of environment that I’m into, I’m bound to give more importance to the values to be learnt than that of bookish education. Technical knowledge is a must; I’m not claiming it’s worthless. But it becomes wisdom if it’s applied somewhere. Wisdom is bearing more gravity than knowledge. So it is natural that wisdom be given a greater priority. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once you get a hold of your wisdom, your common sense starts working. And once your common sense starts its work you will be surrounded with 10s of 100s of 1000s of questions which may not let you sleep in peace. (((((((I’m not only referring to the “Technical aspect of knowledge-wisdom relation” but I’m also referring to the “Value based knowledge-wisdom as well”. In fact it is the “Value-based education” or in other words “Education of the Heart” is the one that matters to me the most, if you ask me my opinion.))))))) &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But most of us in certain aspects get afraid to follow our hearts. This is what even I experience many an instances. I hope I am successful in separating my mind from intervening in what my heart wants to say and I know I will be. It’s only when we think from our minds that we never get to know certain things which we ought to know. We never get what we want because we think from our heads rather listening to our hearts. I too have missed opportunities many an instances. Reason: I didn’t listen to my heart. The wisdom we get from doing what our hearts has to say is tremendous. Its only by wisdom we get doubts. And wiping away these doubts is the key to open up our minds to a more colorful world.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Human relations, values, health, studies, career, wealth and everything in this world are set up on a platform or a strong foundation that bears the entire weight of everything above it. Thus, it is proven that foundation needs to be really strong. Any baseless thing would give no results. No results at all!! If you really are pestered by a doubt or a faintest feeling that things are going cluttered, here you need to stand up and follow what your heart has to tell you. You want to ask someone something? Then ask it. You want to tell someone something? Then tell it. Clarity in what you want is of utmost importance. Know what you really want. Again, here, your heart comes into view. If your mind is surrounded by other people’s minds whose prime purpose is to confuse you, then here is where you need to be smart enough to know what to listen to. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You may remain foolish in front of others when you do what your heart tells you. Some of you may even go against the wishes of the others. But ultimately, the reason why you did it will be the strongest reason you can ever give them. Again, they may agree with you or disagree with your reasons. But in the most genuine situation, I would say, there is no need to give a reason at all. Persons, who can understand you, will definitely get to know the reason by default. Erasing away your doubts need to be given more priority than giving justifications to others. Ask questions, seek answers. Don’t remain quiet just because you take your life for granted, just because somebody laughs at you, just because somebody would fire tantrums on you, just because you’ll remain a fool for a while or just because somebody pulls your legs. Analyze every situation as to why it is happening. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But my sincere advice to you is not to over analyze things because this leads to paralyze of your mind and heart. One may not be able to differentiate between the right and the wrong once you are into the habit of thinking too much also. It happens to me when I usually carry out my studies during a VTU semester exam. My thoughts, my mind and what not get concentrated on one subject due to excessive analyzing and I would not be able to proceed any further. I’m not saying that thinking is bad, but over thinking can be erratic. Little bit of thinking is always advisable. That is not an issue at all.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hmmm… but I’ve noticed that to some extent I’m, kind of, detouring away from the actual subject of interest. Do I have a doubt here…??? Lolz... No. I know what I’m writing. I don’t know why, but, my thoughts and emotions are pouring out like water this time….. :D :D :D &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* * * * * * * * * * * * Coming to exams: Answering an exam can be done in three approaches &lt;br /&gt;
1) Copy from your neighbor’s paper (Teachers, please don’t punish me for this)&lt;br /&gt;
2) Take micro Xerox (Teachers, please don’t punish me for this as well) &lt;br /&gt;
3) Study, study, study, study….. And ask doubts with your friends or teachers or Google it out. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I know I know the third approach is the easiest approach..!! Lolz…:D :D :D This approach is what all nerds like me follow. :P :P :P I would write in a very studious language now. A doubt regarding studies or something close to studies is always welcomed. It does help you in the long run when you encounter, may be, a similar problem. But don’t hesitate to ask questions or clear your queries with the concerned people. You can always approach your lecturers concerned and disturb them with your doubts. ;) ;) ;) What I’m writing about, right at this moment, may be a very silly issue for most of you all, but you’ll never know. By resolving your confusions, you may just score your distinction in your results (especially VTU). Or you may even lose your distinction by just a single “one mark”. You may clear the subject by that “one mark” or you may lose it also. The feeling you get when you lose or gain your distinctions or targets by just one or two marks is XXXXXXXX. I’m really being honest here. For a nerd like me it is quite a big deal :P :P :P (Now don’t grumble at me) I had experienced this in my last semester VTU. I had lost my distinction by 13 marks. (Huge number) But thankfully, because of the revaluation system of VTU, I got my distinction tag back. Now I know where I went wrong and I have assessed it quite a number of times. Nevertheless, I need to hope for the best and be positive in my thinking too. This will help me a lot I know.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A doubt can help a lot I felt. So I thought why not take a trial of digging my thoughts on this. Yes!! Even though I look silent, I do ask a lot of questions “secretly” if I’m not clear with something. The persons who clear my doubts, I know, they can bear with me, since I ask the silliest doubts ever. Don’t be shy people. Nothing can harm you on this. In fact it does not even need any courage to ask doubts. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="color: #0b00e0;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Any matter, any issue can also be resolved if questions are raised.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt; I hope I’m successful in every way in these last two semesters of my Engineering life. All of us are made in such a way that we tend to think at situations and apply what our mind or heart says. Every body has a mind that thinks. These thoughts that come to mind create our destiny, as you already know it (if you already have read my previous articles) But we tend to think so much that we generate questions in our minds. It is a natural tendency to generate questions when you think a lot. But it doesn’t end there itself. One needs to clear the doubt he/she is carrying in his/her mind. &lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: blue;"&gt;Doubt is the key to knowledge&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Nobody gets away without his/her doubts being solved. No doubts solved means you become paralyzed with doubts. It is almost like someone has tied an invisible knot around you. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Who knows? You may discover something new and exciting when you ask questions and clear them. Now don’t tell me that you have an EGO problem. ;D I’ve already mentioned previously in my article. &lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: blue;"&gt; EGO-Eliminating Growth Opportunities.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; You retard your own growth if you have an EGO problem!!!!!! However silly your doubt may be you have the freedom of clearing it. A person who clears his/her doubts is a fool for five minutes, but a person who never clears his/her doubts remains a fool forever (Sadly :() People may laugh you say?? Then be happy with the fact that you made people laugh. :D  It is your question and your mind. You have the freedom to think in whichever way you want. (But, preferably good thoughts… Not the bad ones :D) &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Right now I’ll not comment about “those doubts” created between a husband and a wife or any other couple for that matter. That is completely a different issue. A skeptical mind creates doubts between couples. So right now I wouldn’t highlight on that, but, since I’ve already mentioned it I would add that &lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: blue;"&gt; it is the loss of trust that makes a mind skeptical and negative about someone. Probably, even being too possessive also may not be ideal for some. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

It is a sign of you being very strong :D But this doesn’t mean that you start off from tomorrow onwards saying that you don’t know about anything in this world. :D :D &lt;br /&gt;

But I’m happy that I know some people who are down to earth and still ask questions if they don’t know something. Some of my very own classmates for example ;) Very sweet people do exist in this world.
