The kids started on their Speech &amp; Drama classes at Hobby Hop In last Thursday. The teacher is from Blubricks - and they follow the Trinity Guildhall syllabus with optional exams. The class is for kids from 4-7 years old. However, they do have classes for older kids aged 7-12 on Wednesdays.

Malaysia Art Book Fair 2011 is currently happening at the National Visual Arts Gallery until 15th December. There are quite a number of booths featuring various publishers and artists. After touring the booths, we admired the art works of accomplished artists displayed at the gallery. Admission is free. The National Visual Arts Gallery is opened daily from 10am-6pm.

The swimming instructor is Michelle Whytcross  from Australia. She been staying in Malaysia for the past 6 yrs and her 2  kids were born here! She has just moved into the same condo (and the  same block!) in June this year. She conducts group classes and private  classes.

After reading about Jim West Puppets Dinosaurs! in The Star last month, I decided to book tickets for the highly-acclaimed show. I bought 3 premium seats online via Gardner &amp; Wife who are the organizers, plus another lap seat (half-price) for Marissa.

Cardboard bugs with googly eyes! 4 different bugs in the kit - inclusive of instructions, glue and paint. We decided to build the tower today while Marissa took her afternoon nap.
It was quite complicated for a child to do it entirely by himself so I was on hand to help. After everything was done, Evan cleaned-up the mess.

Prior to the ceremony, the graduating 6-year olds had their graduation portraits and class photo taken in school. For the very first time in Malaysia - BASF The Chemical Company organized a series of science experiments for kids age 6-12. The event is currently held at 1 Utama (The Oval). I registered online for Evan to attend the 2-hour session on Wednesday evening. Registration is free.There are 2 sessions per day during the weekend and onsite registration are also accepted.

Anyway, I am much better now and still continuing my antibiotics and probiotics.
The concert started very promptly at 1:30pm after a simple lunch (meehoon, fried rice, wantans and vegetarian curry). Yes they do but they resolve the issues on their own. After playing they will help each other clean up - phew!  
They also love art! Scribbling, doodling and coloring! Evan can color very well now - with color tones and what not. The children have been learning about money and now it's practical time! 
RM10 per kid is actually quite a huge amount.... Evan brought back RM3.50. Anyway, Evan was so excited about the Canteen Day that he couldn't stop talking to me about it when I picked him up from school yesterday.
