Skip Hop Hug and Hide Stroller Toy, Owl - Bought this toy without having seen it in person and have been very impressed with its quality and the amount of entertainment it provides our daughter. She absolutely LOVES this toy and will play with it for long periods of time (for a five-month old). She did enjoy it before she was able to grasp things with her hands - the eyes and colors of the owls attracted her attention. Now that she has more hand control, she has a lot of fun grabbing the wings, the wooden ring, the baby owl, and just hugging the entire toy. Baseball Guys by Kaskey Kids - Red and Blue - Santa brought this toy for my then 6 year old son last Christmas. He is a huge baseball fan and has a very vivid imagination. he always has preferred making up his own fun over electronic toys, etc. He just loves this toy!! It is probably the #1 played with toy. The lid isn't very durable (we've resorted to a strong elastic) but all the guys fit into the case with the felt field and scoreboard. We are from Boston so it's an extra bonus that the team resembles the Red Sox vs. Yankees and the numbers even correspond to the 2004 ALDS players on those teams that year (the SOX won!). Seat Pets Car Seat Toy - I bought this pink cat seat pet for myself, and I'm a 40 year old adult. I'm a huge Depeche Mode fan and they have had 6 shows in Southern California on their most recent tour. I saw this Seat Pet and I knew it would be perfect for the long road trips, especially the late night trips back home. After seeing the bad reviews, I almost didn't buy it, but I thought it would be worth the chance. Both me and my friend have used the seat pet to sleep on, on the way home from those late night gigs. It seems to have plenty of stuffing in the head for the both of us. The zipper part is great for putting your phone in...and I knit, so I've been able to put my knitting notions and a pen/pencil to mark my pattern in the little pockets on the front. We haven't even made the road trip to Vegas yet, but I had to write a review... I know we aren't kids, so I can't speak to the durability of how the Seat Pet would hold up in the hands of a small child, but I've had mine for about a month and haven't had a problem. Dough Tools - 5 Piece Assortment - If you choose to buy these dough tools, don't buy them from Factory Depot. I ordered them on the 22nd of November and they didn't ship until MORE THAN A WEEK later on the 30th. Even Amazon sent me an email saying this shipping time was not acceptable and gave me a link to contact the seller. I did contact them a day or two ago and told them to cancel the order, that this was an unacceptable amount of time to wait for the item to ship. They never replied to me -- just shipped the item -- charging me the full shipping price and everything. Terrible customer service, terrible company. As for the product itself, we purchased these because our daughter takes a class at a local nature center where they have homemade play dough and lay out these sorts of plastic tools for the little ones to use. We also ordered the Melissa and Doug ones for Christmas. These plastic tools are different from the wooden ones. Our daughter very much enjoyed these tools at the nature center so we're confident she'll also enjoy them at home. -- By Irishlawlass
