Maternity sessions are easily making their way to the top of my favorite sessions list. I mean I love the joy of a mother to be; their glowing faces, their excitement and this session did not disappoint. This mother to be was absolutely glowing and excited to meet her little man. She was literally due any day so she definitely was ready to meet him. I had a lot of fun with her and here is a little sneak peak from her session.

I know you will be in love with this first picture as much as I am! I met up with this adorable little family and had a blast capturing their little one. She has to be the happiest baby ever! She was totally happy with everything we did and did I mention it was 45 degress and windy! You would not be able to tell from how amazing they look! Here is a little sneak peak from their session.

I met this mom originally when she was pregnant with her little man and now I have been chosen to photograph her family again and I can not wait to work with them again in the future! They are such an adorable little family and I have so much fun every time I meet up with them and their kids are by far some of the easiest and most well behaved ones I have met! Miss "L" just turned one and I was ecstatic when her mother asked me to come to her birthday and capture some pictures at her party. I have photographed this family before and knew how fun they are and knew it would be a great time! She was probably the cutest kid I have ever seen break into a cake including smothering it in her hair and on her belly. She is so cute and I had so much fun! Here is a sneak peak form her birthday!

I met up with this gorgeous Momma to be at the Botanical Gardens in Humble little did we know they were closing early that day and we were booted before our session could even start. I found a little park close by and came up with their session in my mind right on the spot. I usually do planning and location scouting but I didn't want them to have ot wait another day while I planned their session in another location or to try the garden again. They were game for whatever I threw and I am so glad the park was closed because the place I found was so different and her pictures turned out to be absolutely amazing! Here is a little sneak peak.

This is easily one of my favorite maternity sessions to date. I met up with this amazing couple who were expecting their little bundle of joy in just one month. They were a lot of fun to work with and I absolutely love the Henna she had. She promised to invite me to a party where they do Henna in the future I am really hoping she does. They had not told their friends or anyone that she was expecting and did not know if they were having a boy or girl. I had a lot of fun working with them. I have to say personally I consider photography to be an amazing gift to give someone, to receive or even to give your self. July and had a blast with them so I was so excited when she called me again to capture her sons newborn pictures and I hope she will call me from now on for all of her family pictures! They told me she was from the US and he was from Australia and they met in Europe and now live in TX, talk about travelers! Last June I was lucky enough to travel back to MO to photograph a wedding of a great couple I had met a few months prior and captured their engagement session in STL. I had a lot of fun and while flying back and forth in 2 days can be really exhausting, it is totally worth it! This will unfortunately be my final wedding(for now) I am focusing my business on families and children as well as natural light outdoor photography so my business is changing up for a while. Here is a little sneak peak from her wedding! There were over 1000 pictures to sort down to just a few for a sneak peak, talk about hard!

Sunday morning I met up with this gorgeous couple to capture some maternity portraits for them! I had so much fun working with them! Not only did we have a million ideas to work through but they were so much fun to work with! I can not wait to photograph their little boy for them! I have some of the best friends in the world! And they sure are beautiful too! I recently did the engagement session for one of my closest and dearest friends! I absolutely love this girl and so excited about her getting married! I can not wait to photograph her wedding and be there for that amazing day for her! I am sure you already know this but there has been a massive heat wave over Missouri and my business has slowed down a bit from it but a few weeks ago I set out to take my sons 3 year old pictures it was 105 outside and he was very unhappy with this situation. He is a trooper though and he was able to put up with it and give me some cute pictures that we can give out to family and friends. Here is just a little preview of his birthday session. You can tell how hot he really was in the last picture. The first one is my favorite because that is his Jayden face and the second is the one my family loves.

I photographed the funnest and one of the most beautiful weddings last weekend. I might be a little partial since they are family and my son was the ring bearer lol. I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful couple before their wedding and it was an amazingly beautiful session! They are just so gorgeous and I had such a fun time working with them. I was only there to capture some before wedding pictures but it was a great session! I love my military members and am thankful for his service! My husband just recently got out of the Marine Corps so working with other military members is always a plus for me. On top of how gorgeous they are! Here is a little sneak peak from our session!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being invited into the room for the birth of Mister "L", child birth has to be the most beautiful and amazing thing in the world! I have had 2 children of my own and this was my second birth session that I photographed and it was just as amazing as the first! If I could I would photograph nothing but birth photography all day! It was such an honor being invited int o capture these special moments. I urge all soon to be mothers to invest in a birth photographer. I have so many moments captured that no one else would of been able to get not even the father. I had a family member capture me having one of my sons and even then they are usually too mesmerized and miss a lot of moments, as mine did. This is an investment that is well worth it! Last week I photographed a couple's engagement session and it was such a beautiful session! We met at this beautiful old church I had told them about and they put all faith in decisions on where to go in me and I am so thankful they did! It gave me such a creative angle on their session and it allowed me to guide them through my vision with their faith that their pictures would be great! I don't typically post my sons pictures on my site but when I photographed their spring portraits in April it was by far the best session I had ever done for my own children! My oldest son is typically ornery and will not smile ever if he sees a camera, this day he was modeling and smiling and since then has been so great for pictures! My mini baby is just so sweet and finally gaining weight after being in the hospital so much and diagnosed with failure to thrive he has grown so much and gotten so big since then! I am so happy I am able to take my own kids portraits and am so blessed to be able to do this! Their outfits I absolutely love and they were provided to me by a great small business just like mine.
