anyway, all the B21 headers i see for sale have 3 stud holes for bolting onto the downpipe. my downpipe has 4 holes for the original mani studs.

is there an aftermarket downpipe for our cars? what am i missing here?

hey guys so a while ago i had a thread concerning my lude overheating on the highway. not sure why it was, but since i've only done city driving since, i havnt noticed the lude getting hot so i forgot about it. anyway, it snowed tonight, which for me equals drifting :D aww yeaa. anyway, i wasnt going to fast, 2nd gear revving to max probably 3-3.5k.

as i slowed down i noticed the temp gauge getting real high. not in the danger zone, but it would have if i kept going.

does this sound normal? or is my cooling system not 100% functioning? the CTS has been changed, but thats about it.

one question in particular i have is, i did the headgasket around 15k ago, (Fel-Pro) and i stupidly threw away the old one right away so couldnt compare them. anyway it didnt look like all the holes in the gasket lined up to other holes. (the gasket fit perfectly onto the line up studs). but im just wondering, could the gasket be blocking coolant? or are there excess holes in the block that the HG covers? thanks guys,

so one of the yards by my house got another 88 lude recently, 4ws with fogs, and to my surprise it's not totally gutted out yet, after looking at the 4ws rack and fogs something told me to check the glove box....

even if there not that rare, they are the first ones i have seen, at least in person

the owners manual is in fantastic shape.... the cover shows the wear the most... no water damage or anything....

the warranties book is a little more beat up, some mildew on the back page...

anyways i was presently surprised to find them

P.S. i also got the 95 accord back lip i was desperately needing, and some other odds and ends stuff. not the best haul i have ever had, but not a bad day either.

I'm looking replace ALL of my shitty wiring...

Unfortunately OEM is the only option that is plug and play, what I'm wondering is if the B-Series tucked harness from Rywire would work in our cars.

Obviously this would enable running obd1 and an ls distributor without hackery or a jumper harness as well.

From the images the plugs all look the same. Does anybody know off hand of any connectors on the b20a5 that aren't standard Honda besides the ignition junk?

http://www.rywire.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1{9}32{8}22{29}116{39 }144

What I want to do it purchase the b-series tucked harness, and replace my chassis wiring with a painless kit and say goodbye to the piles of useless old wiring and gremlins that plague my Lude.

Any insight?

Squealing Belt and Loss of Battery Power

Yesterday morning I had to push start the car. I had noticed two days before, a belt was squealing but still haven't had a chance to isolate it. I'm guessing it's the alternator belt and having it slip (squeal) means I haven't been getting enough juice to charge the battery whilst driving.

I can still see the headlights get brighter if I rev it up though.

Battery hasn't had issues yet and does't look that old, but I'll bring it in for a test at Advanced tonight.

Any ideas? Is it just a matter of tightening the alternator belt? Let's hope!

ok so last night my driver side headlight stopped coming up. i can lift it up by hand with no resitance but it falls back down instantly. also i tryed turning the knob on top of the motor for the headlight and it will freak out and spin by it self lifting the headlight up half way and slamming it down. so i'm just wondering if its just the motor thats broke or is it somthing more?

New Tokico blues vs. rebuilding koni reds

Just wanted to see what everyones opinion was on...

Just wanted to see what everyones opinion was on either rebuilding my koni reds or buying some new tokico blues. I've had the reds on my car since Febuary 1999 and they have over 100k on them. I'm leaning towards just buying some new blues, as funds are low, and then perhaps someday getting the reds rebuilt. Thanks for any advice beforehand.
