<p>Ok so this was not the best location in town in the ‘90s.  Neither was King West 10 years ago nor was Front and Spadina (Skydome) area.  The Grand Hotel was built at least 10 years ago at Jarvis and Dundas and so was the Hilton Garden Inn.  The area was a lot worse prior to those hotels and without Dundas Square and Ryerson University, this project would not be happening.  This area has had a few condominium buildings built in the last 15 years but has been left neglected for quite some time.  Ryerson however has kept plugging along and has gained some serious accolades in the academic and business community.  Dundas Square took forever to materialize.  But now is the time for full-blown residential mixed-use development  to take place in this neighbourhood and Great Gulf seems to be in the drivers seat yet again.</p>

<p>Great Gulf is used to pioneering such locations.  The Hudson was a huge money-maker.  I was selling DNA Phase 1 when Hudson launched in earlier this century.  DNA Phase 1 ended up being a phenomenal buy but Hudson fared better.  Nobody wanted to go west of Spadina along King.  Now look at it!!<br />
Great Gulf thinks this is “The Best *#@%! Deal in Downtown Toronto”.  The numbers seem to justify their slogan.<br />
Great Gulf has built The Hudson, 18 Yorkville, X &amp; X2, Charlie, and are about to start construction at Number One Bloor.</p>
