Be confident, like an old oak. Storm shaken, weather beaten, yet still firmly standing still. It stops me each time I see it in the forest with its looks of majesty and might. It commands my respect at its rooted site. It is an old oak who has survived hundred and hundred of years. This fella ended up by our steps, tangled in a net. So, my husband together with the neighbor rescued him, cutting the netting off it and letting the fella out in the wild once again.

This is one of the demanding sections of the trail. As you can see, ladies had to demount the saddles and push the bikes uphill giving up to the laws of gravity. The numerous oak trees along the trail make a fantastic frame.
