Tomorrow, millions of radical leftists will be marching to polls to vote for open borders, globalist refugee resettlement policies, and political correctness that stifles discourse on important issues like radical Islamic terrorism.

It is expected that control in the House of Representatives will be determined by only a handful of votes. Will yours be the one cast that allows President Trump to continue his national security successes?

Make no mistake about it, this election is not about politics, it's about survival.

Leftists have declared war on the values that make America the greatest nation in the history of the world.

This is a group of people that embrace intimidation and harassment. A group that judges not by content of character, but by color of skin. A group that believes in guilty until proven innocent.

Leftists support lawlessness over borders, socialism over freedom, violence over discourse, division over unity, and ideology over humanity.

Plain and simple, evil is at the gate with only you to stop it.

We've seen Soros funded groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter wreak havoc all across the nation in order to gin up momentum for the upcoming election.

For years, we've seen leftist goons blocking our streets, destroying local businesses, and attacking police, politicians, and civilians.

Death threats and harassment against conservatives seem to be the new norm and leftists either remain silent or fan the flames.

When Maxine Watters calls for Trump supporters to be intimidated and harassed in public, she gets a pass.

When Nancy Pelosi says there will be quote "Collateral damage" against conservatives in the leftist crusade against Trump, she gets a pass.

When Eric Holder says of conservatives that we need to "kick them while they're down" he gets a pass.

These people aren't just radical, they're dangerous. It's time to hold the left accountable for their radical tactics.

For the sake of you, your children, and your nation, please get to the polls tomorrow, Tuesday, November 6th.

Make no mistake, voting this election is a national security measure - and again, many of these races will be very close. EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

We need every red white and blue bleeding American to show up this November to defend this nation from threats both foreign and domestic.

5,000 Terrorist Attacks are Under Investigation!

This November 6th is shaping up to be one of the most consequential elections in our nation's recent history. There is a lot at stake: This midterm election is about more than just Republicans vs. Democrats - it's about ensuring our American values and western culture are preserved for future generations.

Just last week, FBI Director James Wray stated that the FBI is "currently investigating about 5,000 terrorism cases across America and around the world and about a thousand of those cases are homegrown violent extremists and they are in all 50 states." Yes, you read that correctly, 5,000 TERRORISM CASES are currently being investigated in ALL 50 STATES.

The sad reality is that America is no safer today than it was 17 years ago when 19 hijackers brought America crumbling down to its knees on 9/11/2001. What's even more troubling is that, because of the left's use of political correctness and pop culture, the same patriotic, flag waving, spirit that saved our country and brought us together in 2001, is no longer present.

The radical left has proven that they will sacrifice any and all of America's values and beliefs for their naked pursuit of power to the exclusion of all else. As recently as 2001, ALL AMERICANS believed in the Bill of Rights and the premise that you are innocent until proven guilty, but unfortunately the left no longer holds these sacred American values true.

This is why I am asking you to please join me in pledging to vote for candidates this November who will fight to uphold the values and freedoms that truly make America the greatest country in the history of the world. Last week, Asia Bibi was finally acquitted in Pakistan after over eight years of court proceedings. She has been in prison since June 16, 2009, accused of the crime of blaspheming the Islamic "prophet" Mohammed.

Her Muslim co-workers, who chided her for being a Christian, had brought the accusation after an argument over a drinking vessel. Asia denies the charge.

Since her incarceration, we have fought for Asia's freedom, supported her family, and raised funds to defend this Christian mother.

However, although she has now been acquitted, her problems are not over.

Her acquittal has provoked a wave of Muslim violence throughout Pakistan that has already left several dead. Asia Bibi's lawyer has had to flee the country in order not to be killed. The situation is more delicate than ever.

We, at CitizenGO, wish to help take Asia Bibi and her family out of the country and give them a better life. However, they are now prohibited from leaving Pakistan, and her court case might be reviewed.

That is why we are planning two initiatives.
ONE, we have launched a new petition asking the Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, to intercede as soon as possible so that Asia and her family can leave, and that the necessary security measures will be taken to keep them alive.

This is a request from terrorism expert Tom Quiggan for the RCMP to investigate The Right Honourable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, the Honourable Marie Claude Bibeau, the Honourable Omar Alghabra and the Honourable Iqra Khalid for terrorism funding based on their financial support for Islamic Relief. Mr. Quiggan previously worked for the RCMP on related issues and first became a court expert witness on terrorism while working as an intelligence contractor for them.

Dear Commissioner Lucki,

This is a formal statement of complaint and I am willing to testify in court to the material contained in this report. The first twenty pages of this document contains the complaint itself and the direct relevant information. The remainder of the document contains supporting, explanatory or supplementary information.

The complaint is that Members of Parliament of the Government of Canada are using their official positions to channel taxpayers’ money to Islamic Relief Canada (IRC). The IRC is a federally registered charity, so the taxpayer is subsidizing this activity. IRC in turn is sending millions of dollars to Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW). Seven independent and reliable sources have gone on the public record and stated that IRW uses charitable funds to provide material support to terrorism. In most cases, this means Hamas, an organization which is listed as a terrorist entity by the Government of Canada.

Funding terrorism is a criminal act according the Criminal Code of Canada.

I am a court expert in terrorism in both the Federal and criminal courts. I have spent years working in the military and intelligence communities, including several years spent at the RCMP (A-INSET). I was working for the RCMP in a national security intelligence role during the Momin Khawaja investigation when I was first qualified as a court expert. At other times, I have worked for the Canadian Armed Forces, the Privy Council Office (Intelligence Assessment Secretariat) and I have been a Senior Fellow at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Military service overseas involved time spent in Croatia and Bosnia during the Yugoslav War.

As you will note, all the sources of information here are public. Most footnotes have been individually rated for source reliability and information credulity and are marked as such (I.E. A2 or B1). The system behind rating the source material can be seen at Annex 18.

The Issue:

The Government of Canada is now dispersing taxpayers’ money in situations where they are aware the ultimate use of the funds will be the direct and indirect support of terrorism. Among the intermediary agencies involved are Islamic Relief Canada and its parent organization, Islamic Relief Worldwide. The ultimate destination of a portion of the funds is Hamas, an organization listed by the Government of Canada as a terrorist entity.

It is no longer an outside job; it is an inside job.

This funding may constitute a criminal offence.

The Senate of Canada heard in May 2015 that the Muslim Brotherhood, listed as a terrorist organization in several countries, has a series of some eight to ten front organizations in Canada. Among then were the Muslim Association of Canada; the National Council of Canadian Muslims; (formerly known as Council of American Muslim Relations – Canada or CAIR-CAN); Islamic Relief Canada and the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy – Canada, IRFAN. IRFAN no longer exists as it lost its Canada Revenue Agency charitable status for funding terrorism and was later declared to be a terrorist entity.

The Members of Parliament involved in orchestrating this terrorist funding are:

1. The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Member of Parliament for Papineau and Prime Minister. As the First Minister in a Westminster form of Parliament, he has political responsibility and political accountability for the actions of his government. Prime Minister Trudeau has also done volunteer work for Islamic Relief Canada and a promotional video on their behalf. Prime Minister Trudeau has had a nearly ten-year long record of supporting, defending or deflecting criticism away from the Islamist cause in general since his election as a Member of Parliament in 2008. (See Annex 1 for more details.)

2. The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Member of Parliament for University-Rosedale and Minister of Global Affairs. As Minister of Global Affairs, she is politically accountable for the actions of her department.

3. The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Member of Parliament for York South-Weston and Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. As Minister of Immigration, he is politically accountable for the actions of his department.

4. The Honourable Marie Claude Bibeau, Member of Parliament for Compton-Stanstead and Minister for International Development. As Minister of International Development, she is politically accountable for the actions of her department.

5. The Honourable Omar Alghabra, Member of Parliament for Mississauga Centre and Parliamentary Secretary for Global Affairs. As a Parliamentary Secretary for the Global Affairs Department (Foreign Ministry) Mr. Alghabra bears some political accountability for the department. He has also used his position as a Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Secretary to promote the cause of Islamic Relief in a variety of official and semi-official situations.

6. The Honourable Iqra Khalid, Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Erin Mills, is the sponsor of the M103 Parliamentary Motion on Islamophobia. She announced major funding (23 million dollars) to address Islamophobia in relation of her M103 Motion. It is not clear what share of the proposed 23 million dollars will go to Islamic Relief Canada, nor is it clear why a relief agency would be involved in such a project.

Missing in Action:

The Honourable Ralph Goodale is the Minister of Public Safety. The Honourable Diane Lebouthillier is the Minister of National Revenue. The Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould is the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. In these positions, they are responsible for the enforcement of laws and regulations related to terrorism, terrorism funding and charities. They appear to be silent on the issue of Canadian money being sent by Islamic Relief Canada to Islamic Relief Worldwide which is then used to support HAMAS. It is possible that they are acting to enforce the law, but there is no pubic evidence.

Hyatt Hotels to Millions of Conservatives: You're Not Welcome at Our Hotels

Last week, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation issued a statement declaring that their company would no longer be hosting "hate groups" after a well-coordinated, Soros funded smear campaign was launched by groups such as the Muslim Advocates, MoveOn.org, the Council on American - Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), targeting their hotel chain for hosting ACT for America's national conference at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel.

By taking this stance, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation has become complicit with the radical left's attack on freedom of expression. By accepting the SPLC's definition of a "hate group," Hyatt is telling millions of Americans they are no longer welcome in their hotels.

If you are appalled at the Hyatt's decision please call and/or email the Hyatt's Customer Service Department and respectfully express your dismay at their CEO's statement. Click here to take action!

Let's take a look at what it means to be a hate group as defined by the SPLC:

If you believe in traditional Judeo-Christian values like the millions of members of the Family Research Council and the American Family Association - the Southern Poverty Law Center considers you hateful.
If you believe in securing our borders and reforming our broken immigration system like the millions of members of NumbersUSA and the Federation for American Immigration Reform - the Southern Poverty Law Center considers you hateful.
Or if you're one of the 1 million+ members of ACT for America, and believe in protecting America from national security threats both foreign and domestic - the Southern Poverty Law Center considers you hateful.

ACT For America's theme of this year's dinner gala was "Back the Blue" and was attended by a myriad of current and former law enforcement officers — as well as the former Acting Director of ICE along with members of Congress. Are they all hateful too?

Had Hyatt done their research beforehand, they would have found that the Southern Poverty Law Center in addition to their "hate map" has also raised millions of dollars off of attacking regular conservative organizations like PragerU, Turning Point USA, Alliance Defending Freedom, the American Conservative Union, along with dozens of others just because they differ in political opinion.

Their decision to ban "hate groups," in reality is a decision to ban millions of freedom loving, flag waving conservative Americans from their hotel chains. While I have come to expect this from left-wing radicals, I certainly did not expect a prominent American hotel chain to weaponize their brand and influence against the conservative voice.

Simply put: The Hyatt Hotels Corporation is in revolt of the constitution.

The First Amendment wasn't created to protect just leftist speech, it was created to protect ALL speech. We hope that Hyatt Hotels will reverse their decision and demonstrate that they value the democratic freedoms on which our nation was founded on instead of falling prey to the fascist tactics of the left.

Brett Kavanaugh confirmed as

114^th Justice of Supreme Court

America is due for a reckoning. It’s one of the main reasons Donald Trump was elected president. Ronald Reagan was an early attempt at a reckoning, after the excesses of the 60s – Great Society, Vietnam, and Woodstock. Following Reagan's course correction, we had “Bu-Bama-Ton”, 28 years of Bushes, Obama, and Clinton, tilting the scales toward the elites, the globalists, the deep state, with no regard for honesty, justice, and the needs of average Americans.

Although the reckoning goes beyond simply President Trump being elected, he is the right man at the right time to deliver the message, to restore balance to the Constitution and to human decency, both in desperate need of a course correction. But where is the actual reckoning?

Begin with the Clintons, and their long rap sheet of scandals and corruption. Sure, Bill was impeached, but instead of feeling a healthy sense of shame, he and his wife doubled down, selling out America to personally enrich themselves to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. Whitewater and cattle futures were chump change compared to Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation.

George W. Bush went mute during his presidency, never making a case for his actions or policies, presiding over a foolish and inept war effort, allowing the Democrats to define his presidency to the point that Barack Obama had a cakewalk to the White House.

Obama then weaponized his intelligence and justice agencies to undermine a presidential election, a transition, and then the Trump presidency. He governed by executive order, with Congress abdicating as coequal branch of government. Trump was spied upon. The weaponized IRS targeted Obama’s political opponents. And they got away with all of it. Abuse of power and obstruction of justice was the Obama doctrine.

Hillary Clinton is a champion of the #MeToo movement despite her attempts to ruin any woman abused or raped by her husband. She sold out America’s secrets to the Chinese and who knows who else to enrich her personal slush fund foundation. She allowed Americans to die in Benghazi and then with Obama, blatantly lied about it. She mishandled classified material on her personal server and was exonerated before even being investigated. And got away with all of it.

Having lost her inevitable electoral coronation, she conspired with Obama and his officials to rig an election and overthrow the eventual victor. To date there has been no accounting, no reckoning.

The recent weeks of Kavanaugh accusations are a travesty. Immature and boorish behavior from Democrat senators will be reckoned at the ballot box during the upcoming midterm elections. What about perjury and conspiracy? Where is the reckoning for that?

The media cannot be left out given their role in all of the above, reporting only the news helpful to the left-wing or deep state narrative, ignoring anything to the contrary. While not illegal in most cases, short of outright libel, it is dangerous and bordering on sedition.

As regards Kavanaugh, is it enough for Republicans to say, “we won” and move on to the next battle? There must be a reckoning, otherwise this type of activity will continue and worsen, as it has from Bork to Thomas to Kavanaugh.

God help Trump’s next court nominee. Facing no reckoning, Democrats will regroup, learn from their mistakes, and plan a better attack for next time. The deep state will continue to conspire against President Trump, undermining his presidency. Why should they stop?

The reckoning must be so severe that this type of behavior ends, that no one dare try it again. Public humiliation or shaming isn’t enough, else Hillary Clinton and James Comey would quietly retire into obscurity. Perjury, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice are all punishable by law. This is the type of reckoning that may give Democrats pause when gearing up for the next round of attacks, seeing some of their co-conspirators behind bars.

America is already balkanized and in the midst of a civil war. The adults in Washington, D.C. must step up and administer a large dose of serious punishment to stop this abhorrent behavior from the left, making sure it never happens again.

It’s time for a reckoning, before it’s too late. If not now, then when?

Canada: Radisson Toronto East turned into unruly refugee camp, say guests (video)

Visitors to an east-end Toronto hotel — which has doubled as a refugee camp all summer — have turned in droves to two well-read travel websites to warn others not to stay there. A visitor from Montreal said kids were “skateboarding in the lobby” and the staff didn’t seem to care. “My daughter kept getting harassed by full-grown men (refugees),” the Montrealer wrote on TripAdvisor. To put it simply, I have NO respect for atheists! Why?

You may think it is because:

1) I am a believer
2) My brain is seized up
3) I am stupid
4) I am a conservative
5) I belong to the religious right [as opposed to the liberal left?]
6) I am an evangelical Christian. Therefore I cannot think.
7) I am not open-minded
Add your own myth!

Some or all of the above may be true of me. However some are also true of atheists!
Why?

Would you agree that an atheist is a person who adamantly declares that there is no supreme being, no superior force, no God?

Now an agnostic, I believe is honest. What is wrong with saying, “I don’t know if there is a God?” Nothing! It is your honest statement of your thought processes.

However an atheist believes in no absolutes except the absolute belief that there is no superior being. He cannot see a God; therefore there is no God.

I cannot see Rome but somehow I still think it is there!

I cannot see electricity and many have faced catastrophe for that very reason!

Why is the atheistic position untenable?

I ask you, the reader, atheist or not, “What per cent of the world’s knowledge do you have?”
Do you have less than 10%? Less than 5%? Less than 1%? I am sure you would agree that anyone who says they have more than 1% of the world’s knowledge has already declared oneself as the supreme being and therefore it is not possible to have discussion with that one!

Let us agree that anyone reading this has less than 1% of the knowledge available in the world. Okay?

Then there is 99% of the world’s knowledge that we do not posssess. Isn’t that logical straightforward math? 100% -1% = 99%.

So is it possible that God exists in the 99% of knowledge that you do not have?

Do you know what every atheist I have ever talked with says? “No!” They say it is not possible that God exists in the 99% of the world’s knowledge they do not have!

Isn’t that a rather arrogant attitude. You do not have ANY knowledge in that 99%, but you declare with no hesitation that you KNOW no God can exist there!

That is the equivalent of saying, “I know NOTHING about Australia and have never been there but I KNOW that Sydney does NOT exist! And those kangaroos? They are made up too!”

That is why I have no respect for atheists. They claim superior knowledge to everyone else, especially those who do believe in God. They have declared themselves to be the superior being because they KNOW there is no God and they KNOW there is no God in spite of the fact that they possess less than 1% of the world’s information!

That is ridiculous! It is also not deserving of respect. Anyone who says that has closed his or her mind to logic.

It is impossible to declare that you know something about knowledge you do not have.

But that is exactly what an atheist does!

I did not know he was Canadian! I did not know he was the grandson of Tommy Douglas, the CCF/NDP leader in the wayback. The present NDP party is not the same as the Tommy Douglas one. I could not support it now, but Tommy Douglas was responsible for several great things that help us as Canadians

David Berlinski (born 1942) is an American author and academic who opposes the scientific consensus on the theory of evolution. He is a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture.^[1]

Evolution

A critic of the theory of evolution, Berlinski is a Senior Fellow of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture, a Seattle-based think tank that is a hub of the intelligent design movement. Berlinski shares the movement's disbelief in the evidence for evolution, but does not openly avow intelligent design and describes his relationship with the idea as: "warm but distant. Numbers as "a version of ID theory".

Views on religion

Berlinski describes himself as a secular Jew.^[12] Berlinski's views towards criticism of religious belief can be found in his book The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and Its Scientific Pretensions (2008).^[12] In summary, he asserts that some skeptical arguments against religious belief based on scientific evidence misrepresent what the science is actually saying, that an objective morality requires a religious foundation, that mathematical theories attempting to bring together quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity amount to pseudoscience because of their lack of empirical verifiability, and he expresses doubt towards Darwinian evolutionary theory.

Google is silencing criticism of radical Islam

Tom Quiggin, a court-certified intelligence officer, with over 30 years of experience in counter-terrorism, has been kicked off of Google and YouTube before his new podcast even hit the air.

The Quiggin Report was meant to tackle important issues related to civil liberties in Canada, such as Freedom of Speech and censorship. However, this was deemed too dangerous for people to hear by the observers at YouTube and Google, as they decided to block Tom Quiggin from using all google services.

This brings up a troubling new chapter in the war against free speech. It has been suspected for a long time that the Trudeau government has sympathies for the Islamist position on free speech, but now the giant tech companies have decided to silence anyone who will speak out against political Islam and its bedfellow - Sharia Law. This is worrying because the traditional legal methods to fight back against government tyranny are being taken away from us. It is evident that we now need to use our voices to stand up and be heard, or else Google will slowly kill all dissent. So, please share this message on email or social media.

Remembering André Drouin - a Canadian icon

A mighty warrior has fallen

André Drouin, a true Canadian hero, has died.

André attended the Collège Militaire Royal de Saint-Jean, Université de Sherbrooke and École Polytechnique de Montréal, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He also served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Did his educational and military background prepare him for a future dedicated to fighting for the values and liberty of our country? Or was it the time spent in Saudi Arabia where André came to understand firsthand the effects of Sharia law on society. It was likely in these formative years that the seeds of his future activism - and celebrity - were planted.

André sprang into prominence in 2007 when he authored the controversial Hérouxville Standards that sparked national and international debate over the principle of providing reasonable accommodations for cultural and religious diversity.

The ‘Code of Conduct’ that he authored spelled out standards for newcomers to his community. It was a short pamphlet that, by listing cultural norms that were to be accepted as well as behaviours that were unacceptable, pointedly illustrated how multiculturalism is a tool that will lead to the destruction of a country, and why religious accommodation is something we must keep away from. It warned immigrants who wanted to settle in this 98 percent French-speaking, rural community of 1,300 that there would be no religious face coverings, no stoning or burning of women, and that men and women could swim together in the local pool. This declaration was purposely exaggerated to get attention. Of course nobody anticipated "stoning" people which is a crime but André was making the point that what begins with accommodation of the niqab can end in sharia law. He knew what he was doing. He wanted to make a big splash to wake people up and he did.

The controversial document drew national and international media attention because of its perceived eccentricity and alleged lack of inclusiveness toward certain minorities. The Hérouxville declaration was condemned by many, including in Quebec, as heavy-handed and even xenophobic. However, despite the opprobrium of the media and the elites, André received tens of thousands of supportive emails from people in Canada and throughout the world.

He spent the intervening years developing a worldwide network to communicate and exchange views about immigration, religious practices he regarded as incompatible with western values, and multiculturalism. He believed that because of multiculturalism, Canada had lost her bearings. Every day he sent emails in French and English to about 100,000 correspondents. They, in turn, re-sent his missives across their own networks, spanning the globe. André worked closely with Anglophones, Francophones, Jews, Christians, Muslims and atheists and was not bigoted in any way. It was Islam and its tenets he grappled with.

With his Hérouxville declaration, he brought the issue to the attention of many, including those who did not want to hear, which unfortunately still includes many of our leaders. He kept many of us well-informed with his email blasts - a veritable clearinghouse of information! And even as the "useful idiots" in the House of Commons just passed Motion M-103, Canadians with awareness are coming together to join in the fight to retain the freedoms that the West struggled so hard to achieve and that we can no longer take for granted. Many of us know that the battle has just begun.

On a personal level, André stood beside me from the beginning of establishing ACT! For Canada. He encouraged me; he mentored me; he supported me; he gave me advice. He always made me feel that our work was significant and important in this battle. So many times when I felt disheartened and discouraged and wanted to give up, I would think of André and his heroism with Hérouxville and how he never backed down and it gave me courage and inspiration. As well, I was always taken by his love of God, country, community, family and friends. His caring and gracious character made a profound impact on my life and I will carry those memories with me always.

André was an officer and a gentleman. He was a great Quebec nationalist and a great Canadian patriot. Rest in peace, dear friend. We say goodbye to this Canadian icon - recognized as a leader by those of us in the struggle to keep our country from going down the dark path of Islamization.

André died peacefully on Sunday, April 2^nd. He is survived by his loving wife, Luce Rivard, and three children, Sébastien, Carl-Étienne and Catherine. A private burial was held.

Can Islam, Sharia and a Secular Democracy coincide?

It appears that many Canadians would likely agree with the late British philosopher Anthony Flew who justifiably concluded, in his review of Ibn Warraq's Why I'm Not a Muslim, that "Islam is flatly incompatible with the establishment and maintenance of the equal individual rights and liberties of a liberal, democratic, secular state".

Why it seems like ages ago, when the University of Toronto leaped into the now infamous Pronoun Wars with a couple of minatory letters to Prof. Jordan Peterson that were as ham-fisted and bullying as they were badly written. Peterson had made it very clear that he would not, under any asserted compulsion from legislation or human rights code, use any newly coined pronouns (they had reached a count of 31 at one point) when addressing transgender students. Succinctly stated, he would not be compelled to speak words others insisted he speak.

The University of Toronto, which many insist is a world-class institution, responded that as a result of this (then) little-known clinical psychologist, that some of its students had been the subject of “specific and violent threats, including threats of assault, injury and death.” Then in sly malice it went on to hope that these death and other threats “were not his intention” in making the arguments he was making.

The university held back on the bowl of hemlock traditionally offered to enlightened dissidents. However it grimly “urged him,” because of the “threats” and under the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code, to “stop making” (these) remarks.

Sweet are the uses of adversity, as Shakespeare has reminded us. The university’s ludicrous claims and attempts at censorship kindled a fire of publicity. The case of the professor who refused to speak made-up pronouns, and who made YouTube videos calmly explaining why, entered the newsstream. However, the greatest gift to Prof. Peterson and his cause was not these two craven letters.

The gods, in their always inscrutable way, really smiled on him during a free-speech rally, when a mob of social justice hooligans hectored him, set up a white-noise machine to drown him out, and insulted him with the usual volleys of bigotry and transphobia.

There was the gift. There was the germinal moment. The melee of intolerance was filmed, as everything is these days. It entered the broad and infinite reaches of the internet. Prof. Peterson, calm as always in the centre of the manufactured mayhem and malice, was now fully launched, as he never could have been, purely on the strength of reasonable arguments, reasonably advanced.

That’s the historical context — history comes in short spans these days — of the pronoun wars and the saga of Jordan Peterson. Unfair, overwrought and downright malicious opposition to him has been the primary engine of his rise to international prominence. To be very particular, I like to believe that of all the torments and obstacles placed in his way in the early days of his campaign, it was the hauling of that white-noise machine — the attempt, literally, to drown out a professor, at a free-speech rally, on a university campus, by people preaching tolerance — that gave him and his cause its wings. That was the moment: Christmas morning for free speech and Jordan Peterson.

There has been much since of course. The core of the Lindsay Shepherd scandal — it was a scandal how Miss Shepherd was treated — was her daring to show a brief clip of Jordan Peterson. The key moment in her interrogation was when the Inquisitor in Chief asked her if “she (horror and shame) had been one of Jordan Peterson’s students.” (She wasn’t.) Wilfrid Laurier’s pathological allergy to Peterson or his thoughts propelled his story further.

A great climax came within the past week. Prof. Peterson, now the most prominent Canadian academic possibly in all the world, on a tour for his new book, entered another lioness’s den. This was a 30-minute interview by a left-wing feminist on Britain’s Channel Four. The interviewer was, by definition and mindset, hostile. Trudeau's Boyle meeting showed lousy judgment

While the Liberal government is usually eager to promote their celebrity PM, news of the Boyle meeting came via the family’s Twitter account. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed it happened, but refused comment citing privacy reasons. This all rightly struck many Canadians as odd.
