Sharing his natural cures for cancer, Dr. Leonard Coldwell declared that every cancer is curable within 2-16 weeks. Appearing in the middle two hours, independent researcher John Major Jenkins discussed what he sees happening in exactly two years based on the Mayan calendar, how that calendar was rediscovered and the various ways the 2012 idea has been interpreted. The Mayan Long Count calendar was developed around 2,100 years ago in Izapa, Mexico, using data calculated over hundreds of years, he detailed. The reason why they chose the end date in 2012 was to "target the rare alignment with the solstice sun with the Milky Way galaxy," though it is a misnomer to think of this as the end of their calendar, he said.

The other big misconception is the 'doomsday' interpretation, first expressed in a book by Michael Coe in the 1960s, and more recently picked up by the media, and in movies like Roland Emmerich's 2012, Jenkins continued. We in the West tend to associate endings with Armageddon, but that is not the mindset of the Maya who thought in terms of cycles, he explained.

Jenkins also talked about his research at Tortuguero, where ancient inscriptions referenced the 2012 date, as well as some of the historiography associated with the Maya & 2012, including the Harmonic Convergence, and the works of Jose Arguelles, and Carl Calleman.

Psychologist Dr. Garland Landrith, whose research was cited in the movie What the Bleep, discussed how inner thoughts can alter the physical realm through various methods including mass consciousness experiments, prayer, and "tapping" techniques. Various studies have demonstrated the quantum effects of consciousness, indicating that the mind can go beyond the time/space limitations that the normal universe operates under. For instance, he reported on an experiment in which people were randomly shown pleasant and negative photos. It was found that the subjects experienced anxiety several seconds in advance of seeing a negative photograph, which suggests the body senses things ahead of time, he said.
People are often held back by psychological blocks-- brain patterns that cause them to make the same mistakes over and over again, he noted. Through an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) that involves a person using their fingers to tap on various acupuncture points, these blocks can be removed, he stated. Further, he cited the recent Dallas Peace Project, in which 1,000 people tapped on acupuncture points, and crime rates reportedly went down 25% in the region. Landrith's tapping technique is demonstrated in this video clip promoting his DVD.
He also spoke about various prayer studies and techniques. Some particularly powerful methods include "releasing" an intention rather than focusing on it, posing an intention before going to sleep, and sending out feelings of love. By adopting a sense of gratitude-- being thankful for what you have, you'll be attracting more things to be grateful for than if you are in a state of wanting, which attracts lack, Landrith revealed.

Computer Attacks

First hour guest, computer security expert Kevin Mitnick commented on the WikiLeaks outage and related tech issues. The website WikiLeaks was temporarily knocked out by a "distributed denial of service attack," he reported. Such an attack can be achieved by buying time on bot nets, sold by underground criminal networks, he explained. Mitnick also talked about an industrial computer "worm" called Stuxnet that targets infrastructure.

Cancer researcher Dr. John Apsley (japsley@msn.com) discussed safe, cost effective, and alternative cancer cures and treatments, and the efforts made to suppress these natural therapies. Cancer tends to occur when cells have "low gain energy" states, and is often associated with poor thyroid function, he said, noting that Dr. Broda Barnes was one of the first to make this connection. Dr. Alexis Carrel was another medical pioneer in the field, and demonstrated how animal cells can thrive in a high gain energy state indefinitely-- in fact he kept a chicken heart beating in a Petri dish for over 22 years!

An Italian oncologist, Dr. Tullio Simoncini believes there's a strong connection between cancer and fungus, and was able to cure cancer by applying baking soda to tumors. However, his license to practice was revoked in Italy, and he faced multiple threats in court, Apsley detailed. In the US, physicians have been routinely disciplined for using natural methods to treat cancer as well, with such tactics as license suspension and bankruptcy. Yet, chemotherapy used by itself is only 2.1% effective, he stated.

Right now, they don't need a subpoena to get this information, he noted. Inter-tribal Medicine Man, Red Elk shared his visions of earth changes, and also touched on such topics as thunderbirds, Lizard People, Lucifer, Mel's Hole, time travel, and phantom pain. Seattle, he explained, is sitting on a V-shaped plot of earth that is due to split, causing the city to slide into Puget Sound. This will create a huge tsunami, putting parts of the Washington state coastline underwater. Mount Rainier will also have major volcanic activity, he noted. Red Elk said these events were likely to happen within 25 years, though it's possible humankind can avert this outcome.

Thunderbirds, with wingspans that average 22 feet, have breeding grounds in South America, and are slowly coming back to the U.S., said Red Elk. The Cree Indians are protectorates of an earlier breeding ground in Yukon, Canada, a "sacred bird cave," that has relics of eggs that were the size of bowling balls, he shared. Mel's Hole, definitely exists, Red Elk declared-- it's 27-27½ miles deep, connects to underground tunnels, and serves as a "blow hole" to Mount Rainier. The Yakima Indians know of another such hole, he added.

Such holes are used by the "Lizard People" to transport goods from spaceships to their underground caverns, he continued. "I've had my run-ins with them," they have green/khaki scaly skin, walk upright, and occasionally kill humans to make powders that increase their lifespan, detailed Red Elk.

In the first half of the program, researcher and lecturer David Wilcock spoke about the year 2012, and presented scientific data which shows big changes are in store for humanity in the near future. According to Wilcock, crop circles have been pointing toward a profound event centered around 2012. A recent crop circle formation accurately displayed the planetary alignment for the exact day when the Mayan Calendar will end, he noted.
Wilcock said the entire solar system is going through a transformation that can be seen in interplanetary climate change as well as in the rapid evolution of human beings. Wilcock referred to the work of Prof. John Hawks, an anthropologist at the University of Wisconsin, who has been studying the speed of evolution. Present day humans are more genetically different from people of 3000 B.C. than the people of 3000 B.C. were from Neanderthals, he pointed out.
Wilcock discussed the groundbreaking research by Russian scientist A.B. Burlakov that suggests an energy field, or "biofield," is feeding life, perhaps causing mass evolution to occur. He shared details from a study by V. Budakovski in which raspberry callus tissue was healed by projecting a hologram of a healthy raspberry plant into the sick one. As further evidence of the transitory and changeable nature of DNA, Wilcock mentioned the work of Dr. Peter Gariaev, who found he could use laser light to turn frog embryos into salamander embryos.

During Open Lines, John in North Carolina recalled some UFO experiences he had as a child. He claimed to have seen "balls of light," one the size of a softball and the other about as big as a basketball, flying inside his house. John also said he and his parents witnessed a giant triangular craft as large as football field in New Jersey when he was 8 years old. June in Indiana whistled themes from "The Andy Griffith Show" and The Bridge on the River Kwai. Mike in Colorado shared details from two Bigfoot encounters. He described the creature as 8-ft tall, pure black in color, with a cone-shaped head, and giving off a terrible stench.
In the final half hour, George played audio from his 5/3/07 interview with ET contactee Nancy Lieder, who presented information on Planet X and the 'Zetas.'
Stimulus Plan Update
Appearing in the first half hour, financial advisor Catherine Austin Fitts briefly commented on news that US senators have reached an agreement on a financial stimulus plan. She does not think the stimulus plan will have a big effect. Fitts suggested the impetus to push through a package so quickly had much to do with the economic meltdown in California. "If that [municipal] system breaks down, then control top down gets lost," she warned.

Researcher of hyperspace, physics, and anthropology, Nassim Haramein spoke about recent phenomena in terms of the geometry of space-time, and the structure of the universe. On the topic of UFOs recently seen around the sun in NASA photos, he noted that "there is activity around the sun that can't easily be explained by conventional means," yet it's difficult to make distinctions between camera artifacts and anomalous objects. Regarding the Norway Spiral, he suggested it was likely caused by the application of HAARP-like technology, based on various evidence & effects observed in the area.

According to Haramein, a deeper fractal reality is occurring in which atoms are like little black holes, if you scale the size of the universe down to its smallest components. The universe is learning about itself-- "the information that it gathers, coalesces and synergizes to produce the next set of questions," in a kind of "self organizing feedback structure," he explained.

Everything in the universe is spinning-- including our very atoms, said Haramein, who connected this phenomenon with the source of life. We can think of space-time as a spinning fluid and when it makes little currents we see it as an atom or a particle, he continued. When you take the time to connect via meditation, prayer, and other modalities to the fundamental source of creation, you start to become "what I call a vacuum engineer" where you can manipulate energy in various beneficial, non-linear ways, he detailed.

Researcher in non-local consciousness and futurist Stephan Schwartz discussed his studies of intent, healing, and remote viewing. He also shared the results of his latest study, which looked at the effectiveness of applied kinesiology, a muscle-testing system that purports to reveal which foods or supplements are healthy or unhealthy for a person. His double-blind experiment found that kinesiology testing on subjects wasn't accurate, and he couldn't recommend the use of it in making decisions about one's health. However, he conceded that certain kinesiologists can be highly accurate.

The power of intent taps into the non-local domain, "that part of us which is outside of space-time, and is everywhere...think of it as the cosmic Internet," he explained. When a large group of people share a common and clear intention, they have the ability to make social change-- even one person's intent can bring about change, he said. He cited the reduction in smoking rates as an example of successful group intent, and added that as a next group intention, "we've got to get clear about the transition out of petroleum," in order to combat climate change, and world instability.

He talked about his 2050 Project, begun in the 1970s, in which subjects remote viewed the future. Many of the things they predicted have taken place, Schwartz noted. He touched on Sam Sumner's Lost Colony Project, in which archeological remote viewer George McMullen provided information on locations on Roanoke Island that were confirmed by subsequent excavations.

Schwartz also discussed studies conducted on healers that showed naive healers were effective, though not as much as experienced healers. Healing is a universal capacity that we all have to some degree, he added.

Engineer and scientist Maurice Cotterell discussed his research into sun spots and solar cycles, and how they affect history, evolution, and the rise and fall of civilizations. The Chinese first observed sunspots 3,000 years ago, and were aware of their 11-year cycle, he said. Additionally, there are sun cycle lasting 187 years, and 18,000 years, Cotterell explained. Periods with higher sunspot activity lead to increased fertility but also disorders such as schizophrenia, whereas during the solar minimum there can be mini-ice ages, he detailed.

He theorized that creatures evolved through DNA mutations brought about by solar wind radiation-- the radiation from the sun would arrive in narrow beams, so only certain members of a species would be affected.

Ancient sun-worshipping civilizations were aware that the sun affects fertility and personality determination, and the Maya knew their civilization was going to die out because of the sun's upcoming magnetic changes, he noted. Regarding 2012, Cotterell believes the Mayan message has been misconstrued- infertility, drought, and an eclipse for five days were what was predicted, not the end of civilization, he said.

Just carrying a cell phone in your pocket that is turned on can cause soft tissue damage, said Thomas.

Weather modification efforts have been on the rise in countries like China and the United States. According to Thomas, the US Air Force is engaged in "weather warfare," using nanotech "smart particles" to modify, steer, and target the direction of storms. Ian Punnett spoke with economist John Perkins, who pointed toward predatory capitalism as the real cause of the current global financial meltdown. He outlined his former work as an "economic hit man" in which he helped convince third-world governments to accept huge loans for infrastructure projects that they ultimately wouldn't be able to afford. When they couldn't pay back the loans, the US govt./corporations would instead demand cheap oil/resources or political/military favors, he said.

This kind of stratagem has gone global with corporations, rather than governments, controlling human and natural resources around the world, he continued. Morality aside, the exploitative nature of predatory capitalism has left the world in a mess, and the planet is spiraling toward disaster, Perkins argued.

To change the situation, he suggested people work toward building a different economy-- creating their own companies that make things the world actually needs like sustainable energy, and anti-pollution products. Also, consumers can also exert influence over corporations by complaining or not buying their goods or services if they don't approve of their practices, such as making clothes in sweatshops. Further, he believes poverty is one of the root causes of terrorism, and by combating it we could help reduce the problem.

Christmas Day Terrorism

Commenting on the Christmas Day terrorism attempt, investigative reporter Peter Lance appeared in the first half-hour, discussing a report that "a sharp dressed man" aided the terrorist at the Amsterdam airport. Even though the incendiary device failed, he considers the attack to be a propaganda victory for al Qaeda.

Security expert Fred Burton also discussed the incident in the first half of the last hour, calling it a "counter-terrorism nightmare." Full body scanners, which likely would have prevented such an attack, are not being used at airports as of yet because people consider them to be an invasion of privacy, he noted.

George Knapp welcomed aviation expert and author William B. Scott for a discussion about possible World War III scenarios and the latest in military technology. He described one possible scenario in which North Korea launches a missile to knock out space satellites. This could also involve an electromagnetic pulse that damages circuitry on the ground, greatly affecting Americans ability to use ATM and credit cards. Such an attack is "like pouring molasses on society-- everything slows down," he said.

Continuing the scenario, Iran could take advantage of America's satellite loss by launching a nuclear-tipped missile at Israel, and terrorist cells could "spoof" GPS signals to cause airline crashes, he detailed. While no one wants to take the U.S. on in a conventional war, the country is vulnerable to space and cyberspace attacks, and has a lack of policy and infrastructure in dealing with such "asymmetric warfare," he warned.

Scott outlined a number of military technologies that could covertly exist, or are not widely known, including: * Blackstar Spaceplane-- A small manned craft carried into high altitude by a larger plane, it could make surprise suborbital journeys around the globe for surveillance or military purposes, as well as possibly launch nano-satellites. * Black Triangles-- Seen by numerous witnesses, these could be military blimps with a hard surface-- a structure that can sit on the ground but contain lighter-than-air gas. These stealthy ships could carry large payloads. * Hyper Velocity Missiles-- These so-called "Rods from the Gods," are 6 ft. long rods made out of titanium which if fired from a high altitude would acquire so much kinetic energy they could do as much damage as explosive warheads.

Expert in how to use the brain's neurocircuitry for increases in paranormal ability and creativity, Neil Slade discussed his new work on how wands can actually help us traverse multiple dimensions. Differentiating his use of wands from the magic wands of fairy tales and lore, he explained that any number of tools can be appropriated by humans to concentrate their intent and energy on (see images below). The wand takes diffuse energy and narrowly focuses it, he said. Any item that can be held in the hand that extends your arm, such as a cane, stick, pen, or pole, can serve as a wand to facilitate travel both out to alternate realities, or conversely bring them to you, he continued.

Slade shared his account of being paralyzed after a serious back injury, and how his doctor told him he would need major surgery to ever walk again. Instead, he used his wands to access an alternate reality where he was not injured, and was also healed by other travelers who used their wands, he detailed, noting that consciousness has no limitations or boundaries.

The brain's frontal lobe must be activated to successfully use the wands, Slade stated, though everyone can develop their own wand process through self-discovery. He also talked about some of his encounters with beings made of colored lights that communicated through sound and melody.

Last hour guest, privacy advocate Katherine Albrecht shared concerns that most search engines such as Google are compiling data on their users, correlating their searches to specific IP addresses. She recommended the privacy search engine startpage.com (also known as ixquick.com) which doesn't store users' data. Further, she warned that email programs such as Gmail scan users' emails for keywords on behalf of their advertisers. She suggested a privacy alternative for web-based email-- Hushmail.

Renowned near-death researcher Dr. Raymond Moody was joined by editor and author Roy Abraham Varghese for a discussion about life-after-death, and what lies on the other side. Moody said he'd recently become more confident about the reality of life-after-death because of numerous accounts of "shared death experiences." Bystanders who were at the deathbed of a loved one reported seeing a light, the appearance of a tunnel, and "even including...co-participating in the panoramic life-review of the person who was passing away," Moody detailed. They're in effect "emphatically co-living the dying experience of those that are close to them," he added.

Varghese has also concluded that life-after-death is genuine, after correlating a variety of data including cross-cultural beliefs throughout history, and contemporary testimonies from near-death experiencers. He noted that a new type of NDE has been reported, similar to the 'shared death experience.' Three soldiers were hit by a bomb, and they all reported seeing each other leaving their bodies.

The two authors agreed that "the other side" wasn't a physical place as we would typically understand it. "What we're dealing with is another state of existence that is outside the framework of time and space,"-- for instance, experiencers describe seeing everything all at once in their life review, Moody explained. He has a new book coming out called Between Two Worlds (co-authored with Paul Perry) and the first chapter is available as a free download here.

ET Pictograph & Doomsday Scenario

Last hour guest, paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren shared two reports. One concerned an Egyptian pictograph in the village of Nazlet el Samman, that possibly portrayed an alien. The relic was recently covered over with plaster, perhaps in reaction to the publicity. Warren also discussed a doomsday scenario that was shared with him in a private document, outlining how Earth may be vulnerable to a gamma ray burst that could come our way in 2012.

During Open Lines, George Noory offered a special 'Monster in the Closet' line. John in State Center, Iowa, recalled seeing a brown monster come out of his closet when he was three or four years old. John said the creature brought along several small chickens that it killed in front of him, before returning to the closet. Another caller, also named John, told George about a hooded form with a cloak that visited him in his Fredericksburg, Virginia house in 1986. John described being at a loss for words upon seeing the 'angel of death' figure but said he managed to get out, "not yet," after which the figure retreated to a wall and vanish from sight.

Several callers commented on chemtrail-related topics. George in Los Angeles (a caller, not the host) discussed U.S. Patent #5003186, titled "Stratospheric Welsbach Seeding for Reduction of Global Warming." George claimed the government is spraying toxic chemicals daily over the San Fernando Valley. He called chemtrail spraying a "global holocaust" responsible for increases in the rates of cancer, autism and Alzheimer's. Diane in Glendale, Arizona, shared her belief that chemtrail/cloud-seeding cause respiratory problems, and that meteorologists are in on the conspiracy.

Some listeners also phoned in to answer George's request to play an instrument (or sing a song). The final half hour featured part of George's 03/31/09 interview with paranormal investigator John Zaffis and his guest, Carmen Reed, who described her family's ordeal living in a haunted former funeral parlor in Connecticut.
Remembering Carl Sagan

In the first hour, George spoke with Ann Druyan, widow of the late astronomer Carl Sagan, and Michael Harrison, publisher of TALKERS magazine, a trade industry publication related to talk radio and new talk media. The two shared memories about Sagan and discussed their video podcast project, At Home in the Cosmos with Annie Druyan. In the videos, Druyan provides intimate details of her life with and love of the man who popularized science for millions with his books and television appearances. Druyan said Sagan's secret to greatness was being "filled [in equal measures] with both skepticism and wonder" about the Cosmos.
