Pretty All the Time

And just like that...it's 2024

2024-02-16T00:58:00.004-05:00

Do I remember how to "blog"?

Has this blog become a sort of time capsule of the 2010"s?

Do you want to know what's happened to me since we last spoke?

I actually think I want to start blogging again! Not just about my love of fashion, but about so many things in life.

If this platform still holds value and if I get maybe a few replies to blog...I will!

Now how do I add a photo again??

The Look of Love

2012-02-14T21:27:00.005-05:00

Yay! I am finally posting an outfit of the day! And it's outdoors! I have been hibernating all winter it seems. Not today though. This is the outfit I wore for Valentine's Day dinner. I was going to wear a red of pink top, but I decided to go for all black with touches of pink! That's my favorite thrifted fur jacket that I also wore on Halloween. I love wearing that furry thing.

Fur Coat: Thrifted
Dress and Flower Pin: Kohl's
Boots: Charlotte Russe
Clutch: Hollywood for Target

Fragrance on the Go

2012-02-05T06:44:00.001-05:00

by Pretty Pink Travel Atomizer

If you love perfume, these atomizers are a must-have! You have probably heard tons about the Travelo. There are many other brands on the market as well. You basically spray some of your perfume into the container, close the lid and bring this with you! It's perfect for traveling and I have already bought a few and loaded them with fragrance!

Today's Forecast: Spring Shoes

2012-02-04T07:06:00.002-05:00

I am so much more inspired by warm weather fashion than I am by winter looks! Especially when it comes to shoes. Here's my latest addition for spring by Steve Madden!

Pink, Bows and Leopard

2012-02-02T14:55:00.000-05:00

Pink, Bows and Leopard Print are three of my favorite things. Throw in some sequins and

you have an Erica party. Both items are from Marshall's. The shoes are Steve Madden...20 dollars!

Some people brag about paying a lot for their clothes, shoes etc..., I'm the opposite, I brag about paying a little since I am a budget shopper! The clutch is Juicy Couture on sale for $39!

If you are looking for he cutest after-work bag ever, this is it! You'll need your hands free for holding a cocktail or dancing! This is the Nine West "Glitter-atzzi" I featured this in my recent haul TJMaxx haul, but here are some close-ups. One side for a phone, other side for cards.

Dreaming of Paris

2012-01-24T02:00:00.000-05:00

I bought this lovely painting of the Eiffel Tower and told my husband I'd replace it with one of my own photos when I go to Paris. I say, "when" instead of "if" because I am thinking positively! ;) I can't wait to bring my Erica-ness to the Parisians :)

Some of my pretty followers have already been to Paris! Share your stories below, the sights, sounds and food! (and of course, don't forget the shopping details!)

Eye Make-up Tutorial for Beginners

2012-01-18T02:52:00.001-05:00

Wow, since I joined youtube a couple of days ago, I have been making lots of youtube videos.
Just like Blogger, Twitter, any social media outlet, once you start, it's hard to stop!
So crazy how that brush twirl at 3:09 hit the right musical notes!

Graphic Tee Time

2012-01-15T19:00:00.004-05:00

I'm not trying to get too fancy during my down time, so I really love a graphic tee. If it's music inspired, even better! Love the OmniPeace tee I'm wearing since proceeds go to a good cause. Plus, I've had that tee for a couple of years and it's definitely worth the money as far as quality goes. Looks new after a million washes!

A cute tee, leather jacket and some dark jeans has me feelin' like a rock star. One of the best places for these music tees is Walmart! Surprisingly, that's where I got the Beatles, Madonna, Marley tees. The Doors was from Kmart. And Miss Audrey was from Target.

Do you rock graphic tees?

2011 Make-up Review

2012-01-14T00:13:00.000-05:00

I showed you my favorite fashion looks of 2011, but I forgot the make-up looks I came up with! These are very late, but here they are in no particular order...

Meow. Halloween!

Plum lipstick

One crazy eye!

Bronze neutrals

Pink and purple

This was the year I perfected the "winged" eyeliner look!

My first make-up job...sister's wedding day look!

What new make-up looks did you try out last year?

NAKED Palette and Trench Vest

2012-01-13T19:38:00.006-05:00

Today, I got a compliment on my eye make-up and was asked how I did the look I was rockin'! (seen below) I explained how I did it and the young woman said she still wasn't sure if she could do it. I kind of felt the urge to whip out some brushes and show her. She was already beautiful and like famous make-up artist Carmindy says, "Make-up is just the icing on the cake". But it sure is fun to apply the icing! My degree is in English/Journalism, but I have kicked around the idea of maybe becoming a freelance make-up artist.

Of course, I used my Urban Decay NAKED palette that I love so much. Naked, Half-Baked and Dark horse were my shades of choice.

NAKED 2 is out now, but I have yet to hit pan on any of my shadows, so I want to wait a while. I pretty much have a signature look. Either a bold lip or a bold eye. And the rest of the face, kind of natural like they do in France!

When Pinky and the Brain are not trying to take over the world, they are guarding my palette!

Also wanted to show you my new vest from Forever 21! I wanted something like this for a long time. It has a million styling options, but for now I just chucked it over jeans and a tee, added a leopard clutch. Done and done! I love that it can be worn open as well. I really love vests.

If your F21 doesn't have this vest, here's a similar option from Old Navy...
