Pretty Filipina Girls : Your Dream Date

Poblacion Girl Gwyneth Chua | Photos

2022-01-03T22:08:00.000-08:00

And so, we are reviving posts in this blog by featuring a very controversial figure as of late. Here is Gwyneth Chua a.k.a. "Poblacion Girl".

She has been getting some flak for dodging quarantine protocols after arriving from the United States, and later tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19.

As of this writing, the CIDG will be filing cases against nine (9) persons including her parents and several personnel of the Berjaya Makati Hotel.

Gywneth breached her quarantine and partied in two restaurants in the Poblacion district of Makati in December 23. Her RT-PCR test results came in on December 26, where she tested positive. Several of her companions also tested positives.

Now, Ms. Chua not only faces charges but is a target of parodies and satire on social media, earning her the monicker of "Poblacion Girl".

If you are wondering on how Gywneth Chua looks like, here she is in various photos. Some people were looking for her instagram account, so much so that said keyword became viral. She is quite a stunner (see photos below).

But it is not only her looks that triggered the attention of the public but the grim reminders of quarantine violators who escaped punishment from the law due to their privileged positions, such as Sen. Koko Pimentel, police general Debold "Mananita" Sinas, and former palace spokesperson Harry Roque.

We await the resolution of this case. Stay safe everyone! The Omicron variant may be upon us. The cold weather is not helping. The recent holiday get-togethers may have contributed to the spike in new cases. And worse, over-the-counter medicine for colds and flu were reported to be lacking in various drugstores.

Comeback Girl Maui Anne Taylor | Photos | Video

2021-02-22T03:46:00.000-08:00

She may have scorched the screens during the early 2000s as a Viva Hot Babe and an actress in sexy films. But after two decades, she has made a comeback in the era of social media.

Lo and behold! She has not changed a bit. Talk about having really really good genes (and of course, she handled the ups and downs of celebrity life quite well). See photo below.

Maui Taylor was born Maureen Anne Tupaz Fainsan on June 28, 1983. She was first cast in the 1997 to 1997 in TV shows TGIS and in Anna Karenina (from 1997 to 2002). Her first big break came in 1998 to 2003 as a main cast in "Kool Ka Lang".

Her movie roles in Tatarin (2001) and S2pid Luv had her take on mature sexy roles. It was during this phase that she appeared on the cover of FHM magazine. A photo of her younger self (dare to compare!).

It has been almost two decades before she made a comeback and appeared again in public. She resurfaced on social media with her Youtube channel, which to date, already has 170k followers (see below video, Lie Detector Challenge with Yow on the MAUI ANNE TAYLOR YT channel). Her FB page has 760k followers.

Photos of Maui on FB has been garnering likes (such as the Pure Hot Pinays FB page). She has indeed become prettier with age (plus she has shown substance and maturity, which makes her more enticing to watch). (see below)

Her latest movie is "Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging P0rnstar", a comedy drama film that was premiered on January 2021 through Vivamax. Here’s the trailer:

The Boazanian Zandra in Voltes V Legacy - Leizel Lopez

2021-02-21T09:58:00.003-08:00

I would admit it. When I was young, I had a crush on the Zandra, who was the personal aide of Prince Zardoz, commander-in-chief of the Boazanian Invasion Forces, and robotics adviser of the beast fighters sent to Earth to destroy Voltes V.

In the Japanese anime saga (SPOILER ALERT), she is in love with the Boazanian prince although it was unrequited. Until she sacrificed her life for the one she loved, and it was only then that Zardoz realized that he also cared for her. Such Shakespearean or Greek tragedy for a young mind! Not to mention the tragedy for the Armstrongs (but that is another story!).

Anyway, in the adaptation by GMA-7 dubbed Voltes V Legacy, the young actress who would play Zandra would be Leizel Lopez. Here is her photo from Instagram (credit: GMA-7 digital). Try to compare her with the graphic from Toei Art (she looks the part, right?).

Who is this young actress portraying the feisty Boazanian commander?

She was born Liezel Marie Arintoc Lopez in Olongapo, Zambales, where she was a theater actress and model who joined the reality contest Starstruck6 not ease her family's financial woes and also to pursue her dreams in becoming an actress. Her acting prowess made her land in the Final 14. She was signed up by the GMA artist center after being eliminated in the said contest.

Since 2016, she has be starring in different television series and shows.

I hope she does justice to her role as Zandra in Voltes V: Legacy. Her are more photos of Leizel Lopez.

Young actress Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson in Voltes-V Legacy | Photos

2021-02-20T01:11:00.002-08:00

The press is out! Young actress Ysabel Ortega would be playing the coveted role of Jamie Robinson in the real-life adaptation of the Japanese anime television series Chōdenji Machine Voltes V.

The series has drawn much attention from the public since Voltes V enjoyed a cult-following in the Philippines in the 1970s, only to be banned by the Marcos dictatorship in 1979 due to alleged "excessive violence".

This blogger is part of the generation that followed the series in my younger years so I am quite critical of how GMA-7 will do its adaptation though it was also reported that the script has been approved by Toei Animation and Nippon Sunrise (good thing!). I hate teledramas.

And so (back to our topic), Ysabel Ortega would be playing the role of Jamie Robinson in the GMA-7's Voltes V Legacy series. It was reported that she got the part in an audition where the scene had her plead to Steve Armstrong to leave a mission due to her father's (Doctor Robinson) ailing condition.

Here she is in her costume (see photo below, in contrast to the anime character (fan art) that she is portraying).

Who is this actress who will play Jamie? She was born Maria Ysabel Ortega Lapid on January 25, 1999, to parents Senator Lito Lapid (I am not a fan!) and Michelle Ortega.

Her first major role was as a villain in Born For You, where her acting made viewers hate her (which is quite an achievement for playing a villain role, especially at her young age). She has been in show business since 2014.

Here are more photos of Ysabel Ortega.

By the way, Jinri Park made a cosplay of Jamie Robinson in this previous blog post.

On our next post would be.... (drum roll)... Leizel Lopez, who would be playing the role of the Boazanian Zandra.

2021-02-19T22:48:00.001-08:00

It has been a while since we posted in this blog. Most of the internet traffic and what-have-yous could be viewed on social media (particularly on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). But in the past few years, this blogger has been following a page, which features pretty Filipina women. I would recommend for you to follow said site.

I am talking about the PURE HOT PINAYS Facebook page. It has changed administrators through the years and has gained a lot of followers through the years. As of this writing, it now has 456,000 followers (yeah, almost half a million!).

Much of its posts come from models and brand ambassadors. The mainstays are the following Angelique aka Cheska Ayad, Jelly Kwong, Kinsky Glavin, Aiz Skat, Irish Tan, Grace Vargas, Apol Salangad, Kate Lim, Chloe Recto, and Jackie So, among others.

I am particularly a fan of Cheska Ayad, she knows how to strike a pose to stir up your wild imaginings. If time permits, I would post a thing or two about them in the coming weeks.

Most of those featured on the FB page PURE HOT PINAYS are also models of alua (dot) com, where you could chat with them, gift them a gift or two, and they would give freebies of unreleased videos and photos. I could only imagine what they give out (not willing to shell out hard-earned cash for such fetish).

Anyway, here are some hot photos of said models on the PURE HOT PINAYS Facebook page (we will try to keep our blog wholesome so there would be no NFSW and R-18 images). Go to alua if you want more skin hahaha (must be 18+).

Bubble Gang Beauties (part 3) - Denise Barbacena | Photos | Video

2017-07-31T07:06:00.000-07:00

Born on November 2, 1994, Denise Barbacena is a pretty morena singer (see below photo) who went under the wings of rapper and contest-judge Gloc-9 in the reality show Protege. In fact, she has collaborated with him in songs "Hari ng Tondo" and "Dapat Tama".

Though she did not win in the said contest, finishing 8th place and was eliminated in the finals, she has managed to get noticed by GMA talent scouts to cast her in different shows. In 2013, she was introduced as one of the lovely ladies that grace the hit comedy gag show Bubble Gang.

Here's a Youtube video of Denise Barbacena, lending her voice to the "Hari ng Tondo" soundtrack.

Bubble Gang Beauties (part 2) - Arny Ross Roque | Photos | Video

2017-05-21T04:15:00.001-07:00

Known simply as Arny Ross, she is a Filipino actress, comedian, dancer and model. She is one of the talents of the GMA Artist center from 2012 and is known to be one of the sexiest funny girls of the hit gag show Bubble Gang.

Arny Ross is a true blue Cavitena stunner (see photo below). She was born on July 19, 1991 in the Dasmarinas town of said province, to her mother who was a police woman. Her alma mater is the DLSU campus in her hometown.

The tall talented dancer, discovered via her dancing in the reality contest "Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break" in 2012, became the cover girl for FHM Philippines magazine in May 2015, with viral sensation Anne B. Mateo and Cyen Lazam, as the magazine had a feature on "online babes".

Also in the said magazine, she was ranked #38 and #26 sexiest woman in the world in its annual poll, for the years 2016 and 2015 respectively, which was won by Jessie Mendiola and Jennylyn Mercado.

Bubble Gang Beauties (part 1) - Andrea Torres | Photos | Video

2017-05-12T06:23:00.000-07:00

If you worry about seeing "Venus" in the teleserye "Alyas Robin Hood" especially in those episodes where she wears a sexy swimsuit, we are in the same boat especially since the show is over. It ended last February 24, after a 23-week run with 115 episodes.

Luckily, she appears weekly in the GMA network's hit gag show, Bubble Gang.

Of course, we're talking about the sexy and hot Andrea Torres (see photo below).

She was born on May 4 in Makati City. In 2005, she was one of the contestants of the teen show Qpids of ABS-CBN. In 2008, she transfered to GMA 7. But her first break came in 2013 as she landed in a co-lead role in the teleserye "Sana ay Ikaw na Nga". A year after, she played lead in "Ang Lihim ni Annasandra".

She could really play the role of a mixed bida/contrabida, just like in "Alyas Robin Hood". Plus she's really sexy! Andrea was on the cover of FHM Philippines for its December 2014 issue and was voted the second sexiest women in the world in the said magazine's 2015 poll. She was 15th, a year later.

Here's a Youtube video of Andrea.

Abbie Tolentino Figueroa Scandal - Hoax or Genuine?

2016-11-22T09:40:00.000-08:00

One of the trending videos in the country - according to Youtube, as of November third week - is another one of your so-called scandals.

It has been called "Naiputan sa ulo" in some circles as is said to have replaced the "Rapbeh" as the one of the most passed-on files in the internet.

While we do not succumb to these so-called scandal videos - and we won't place it in this Pretty Filipina Girls (pinakamagandanghayop blog) because our advertisers won't allow it and because this is not a porn site.

But then again, allow us to help you figure out if that video you are holding on to is a hoax or genuine (compare features as eyes, shape of nose, waist tattoo, tattooed at her right breast, and other distinguishing marks).

Here are the photos of Abbie Tolentino Figueroa from a Flickr page with shots done by the famous Yohan dela Cruz.

Just who is Abbie Tolentino Figueroa? She is a model who became one of the nominees for Premiere Condoms Vixens 2016. But she didn't make it in the final six (Yassi Benitez, Hedem Remigio, Shane Ramos, Jelai Andres, Venicia Fabricante, Nika Madrid, see photo below).

Now, good luck in your quest. I personally think the Abbie Tolentino Figueroa scandal is a hoax because my copy is so damned blurred. Yours may probably be as worst.

Dolce Amore Star Liza Soberano | Photos | Video

2016-11-01T03:50:00.003-07:00

By the sheer number of new advertisements, both print and audio-visual, that carries her face, we can safely say that Liza Soberano has dislodged Anne Curtis as the most sought-after mestiza in the country today.

She was thrust into the limelight through her role as Serena Marchesa in the hit soap “Dolce Amore”. But she has been active in show-business since 2011 as one of the lovely personalities handled by Star Magic (see photo below, winning the Best Dressed award at the Star Magic ball 2016).

The cute Miss Soberano was born Hope Elizabeth on January 4, 1998 in Santa Clara, California through a Filipino father and an American mom. She has a height of 5 feet and 6.5 inches. At the age of 10, when her parents got separated she moved with her father and her paternal relatives.

She learned to be fluent in Filipino on the advice of talent scout in order to get more projects in TV and movies. We wish to thank him (or her) for that very sound suggestion! A lovely mestiza with a command for the local dialect is truly a wondrous thing to see (just like her role as Serena in Dolce Amore!).

Talent scouts may search the world for a lookalike or kalokalike (like someone named Mary Grace) but she is truly one-of-a-kind!

If you can’t get enough of her, here she is in the TV ad for Nescafe French Vanilla with Enrique Gil (from a Youtube video).

Nadine Lustre, Diary ng Panget (movie) Main Character | Photos | Video

2014-03-31T00:33:00.004-07:00

Now is her time to luster! This blog fearlessly predicts that pretty Pinay Nadine Lustre (see photo below), main character of the film adaptation of the best-selling book "Diary ng Panget" will be the newest trending teen Pinay star in Philippine show business.

In the "Diary ng Panget", she is portraying the character Reah "Eya" Rodgriguez, who is the protagonist and narrator of the movie. She describes herself as "panget" (ugly). She is a student of Willford Academy, who was hired to as a personal maid of Cross Sandford. Cross - played by James Reid, is a handsome, well-off and snobbish student of Willford Academy.

But don't ever think that she is ugly, here's a stunning photo of Nadine in a sexy daring gown during 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The book was first released in the online community Wattpad by an author with the pseudonym HaveYouSeenThisGirl. It garnered 12 million reads online before it was noticed by PSICOM publishing (now acquired by Viva) and Viva Entertainment Corporation. The former published the book in print while the latter produced it for the big screen.

Here is the official full trailer of the "Diary ng Panget" movie from a Youtube video:

First, let us present a profile of our featured Pinay teen celebrity. Born as Nadine Paguia Lustre on October 31, 1993, this cute Filipina is a singer, dancer and actress. She was first seen in GMA Network's Party Pilipinas as a performer from 2009 to 2010. She was also cast in the youth-oriented show "Bagets: Just Got Lucky" by the TV-5 Kapatid network in 2011.

Soon, Miss Lustre was given roles as part of the main cast in several Viva movies such as "Who's That Girl?", "The Fighting Chefs" and now in a lead role with "Diary ng Panget".

By the way, she was a member of the group "Pop Girls", which released the singles "Crazy crazy", "True Love" and "Sige Sayaw". This year (2014), she released her own single "Paligoy-Ligoy".

Suicide victim, Filipina mestiza model Helena Belmonte | Photos | Video

2014-03-21T16:03:00.001-07:00

The Pasig City police has just confirmed that Filipina mestiza model Helena Belmonte (see below photo) committed suicide as she jumped off the 28th floor of her condo (Renaissance Towers 100) in Meralco Avenue in Ortigas Center. They have disregarded "foul play" in the said terrible incident.

Who is Helena Belmonte? She is a 28-year old fashion model who is rumored to be the girlfriend of Marcel Crespo, son of the controversial businessman and former Manila 6th district congressional representative Mark Jimenez (below).

Her mother, Joan Lorraine, is the founding creative director of One Mega Group which releases magazines such as Meg, Travel, Lifestyle Asia and Mega. She is also a ramp model, gracing the L' Oreal Look of Style Awards in 2012 in below photo.

In Youtube video below, the pretty mestiza joins the talk show "the Girls of 28 a" as she talks about the pros and cons of dating older men.

Her godmother, Sari Yap, appeared on TV and said that Helena suffers from bipolar disorder. She alleged that the Filipina-American mestiza model may have mixed anti-depressants with alcohol.

I fear that cases of youth suicides may be on the rise. Sigh! It's a such terrible loss when someone so young and so full of promise suddenly meets death. I sympathize with her family, loved ones, friends and fans. Rest in peace!

Everybody - it seems - is curious on who is playing the lead role in the upcoming GMA fantasy teleserye, "Kambal Sirena" (Twin Mermaid), opposite Kapuso hunk Aljur Abrenica. She is no other than Mary Grace Perido, known by the public by her screen name Louise.

Her first major role in Philippine show business came in 2011, when delos Reyes played the lead role in the series "Alakdana". In the latter half of the new millennium, sizzling pangga Sofie Garrucho (see below photo) has consistently landed in the FHM Philippines poll for 100 sexiest women in the world.

"Pangga" or sometimes shortened to "Ga" is a popular term of endearment for our kababayans in the Western Visayas region. Our featured sexy Pinay Sofie, who hails from Iloilo city, was 45th in the said poll in 2006; 88th in 2007, 92nd in 2008 and 90th in 2010.

Miss Universe 2013 bet from the Philippines: Ariella Arida

2013-11-06T20:43:00.000-08:00

In a few days' time, pretty Filipina Ms. Philippines Ariella Arida (see photo below) would compete at the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Russia. She is one of the favorites to contend in the coming tournament, especially after the fresh win of Megan Young in the Miss World Pageant.

This satin black-haired, brown-eyed beauty was born Ariella Hernandez Arida in Alaminos, Laguna (a province south of Manila). She graduated with a degree in Chemistry at the country's premier state tertiary institution - the University of the Philippines (Los Banos campus).

She is really tall for a Filipina Asian; towering at 5 feet, 8 inches (1.73 meters). Her vital statistics are 33 inches (breast), 22 inches (waist) and 34 inches (hip). Talk about a real Coca-cola body. Just look at these photos, which reveal her toned yummy tummy!

This contender is a dazzling Filipina beauty, with classic Pinay features: straight black hair, innocent face, warm smile, slim body and dark-fair smooth skin! I hope she brings home the bacon! We all need good news after the recent onslaught of natural disasters (typhoon, earthquake) and man-made calamities (corruption scandals and pork barrel scam).

Lyceum Pirates Beauty, Playmate of the Year Contestant Jobie Quinn | Photos | Profile

2013-10-24T05:30:00.003-07:00

Here's a profile on a pretty Filipina who is bound to become a celebrity. I am talking of no other than Jobie Quinn. She was featured as Playmate of the Year in Playboy Philippines last year (2012). This year, she is competing for the same title but is now up against contestants from countries such as Poland, Netherlands, South Africa, Slovakia and others.

Miss Jobie Quinn is a graduate of Lyceum of the Philippines (Manila campus). I bet her mere presence in said school is enough to make the walls of Intramuros crumble. Go Lyceum Pirates! Just look at that long-legged ramp model!

From a visual talent and print model, she became a Playboy Philippines Magazine bunny, appearing as its playmate for April and May 2011 (see photo below, where she poses on the cover with the famous Filipino jeepney). The Pinay sex siren Jobie Quinn has also guested in several TV shows from networks GMA and ABS-CBN, among them are "Sana Maulit Muli", "Nuts Entertainment", and "Bubble Gang".

This Lyceum-graduate was also a finalist of the Game Girls contest, where she appeared in cosplay of a computer game character. By the way, she is also fond of billiards, karaoke, travelling and shopping. So what are you waiting for? Grab a copy of the said magazine now!

Miss World 2013 Megan Young | Profile | Photos | Video

2013-10-05T13:35:00.003-07:00

It's barely a week before beautiful Filipino-American TV host and actress Megan Young will come back to the Philippines on October 11 for her return-trip after winning the much coveted Miss World 2013 crown.

She is the first woman from the Philippines to ever win in the said pageant, recently held in Bali, Indonesia. Much to the dismay of critics who almost instantly threw unfriendly remarks at her.

Don't let her mixed ethnicity and her surname fool you. She's as Filipino as puto and bibingka (local rice cakes). In fact, while being interviewed as she won the Ms. World title, the 23-year old Megan Young spoke fluently in Filipino dialect. She said:

"I would just be myself in everything that I do, to share what I know and to educate people on what they can do to help is what I'll do. Salamat. Salamat talaga sa mga kababayan kong mga Pilipino. (Thanks. I really want to thank all my Filipino countrymen)."

But ultimately it was her reply to the question-and-answer question that clinched her victory. She stated:

"Miss World for me treasures the core value of humanity and that guides her into understanding people, why they act the way that they do, how they're living their lives and I will use these core values in my understanding not only in helping others but to show other people how they can understand others, to help others so that as one, together, we shall help society."

While there are some quarters who are protesting against Megan's remarkable achievement, I want to remind her critics (and social media trolls like Devina DeDiva) that Filipina beauty queens have a long track record of winning international pageants. Among them include: two (2) Ms. Universe titles (Gloria Diaz, 1969 and Margie Moran, 1973), four (4) Ms. International winners (Gemma Cruz-Araneta, 1964; Aurora Pijuan, 1970; Melanie Marquez, 1979; Lara Quigaman, 2005), one (1) Ms. Earth crown (Karla Henry, 2008) and one (1) win for Ms.Supranational (Mutya Datul, 2013).

This victory makes the Philippines a "grandslam winner" of major international beauty contests!

In photo below, she poses with former Pinay beauty pageant winners Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup.

Meanwhile, this win also breaks the alleged curse by Peachy Veneracion in 1977 when said declared that "no Filipina shall be crowned Miss World". She was forced by the Philippines government to back out of the said pageant after apartheid-run South Africa sent two delegates (of black and white ethnicity) to the famed contest. Remember that this was done during Martial Law when the Marcos dictatorship was also cautious of criticism against its fascist rule.

That being said, history truly smacks of poetic justice for letting a multi-racial Asian win this year!

Here's a tidbit profile about her. She was born on February 27, 1990 in Alexandria, Virginia, to an American father and a Filipino mother. At the age of then, their family moved to Olongapo City in Zambales (where the former US naval base is located). She finished high school at the Regional Science High School 3 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Our featured American-Pinay tisay was first noticed when she landed in the top six finalists of the GMA-7's reality TV talent search StarStruck. The said station gave her a break by featuring her in various shows for two years, after which she transferred to its rival ABS-CBN with her younger sister Lauren (also an actress). In 2013, before joining beauty contests, she has been featured in programs by the upstart station TV5.

Aside from acting, she moonlights as a model (in below photo, as cover girl for Rogue and Circuit magazines)

Actress Neri Naig - Girlfriend of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda | Profile | Photos

2013-10-01T01:59:00.002-07:00

As of this writing, a second version of an alleged sex video showcasing Miss Neri Naig and her boyfriend Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda is circulating in various social media circles. The file, which lasts for 11 minutes and 20 seconds, has been shared as "Part 2" and is different from the previous scandal that circulated last August.

But we won't go sharing the said sex video in this blog so as to maintain our sanctity and decency. Now we are featuring a profile and photos of Miss Neri Naig (see photo below).

Who is she (apart from her notoriety as the girl in the scandal with PNE's Chito Miranda)?

She was born Nerizza Garcia Presnede Naig on September 7, 1985 in the city of pines (Baguio City, Benguet). She is a Pinay actress who was first noticed after landing in 6th place in the reality talent show Star Circle Quest.

Soon, she was seen in ABS-CBN television shows such as SCQ Reload: Ok Ako!, Nasaan Ka Man, Ang Panday, Sana Maulit Muli, Ysabella and Imortal. She is also cast in Star Cinema movies such as Now That I Have You, Nasaan Ka Man, D' Anothers and Bulong.

Lastly, let me warn netizens - especially Facebook users - who are sharing the said sex video (a.k.a. "Part 2"). You may find the cybercrime police (NBI and PNP agents) or Chito Miranda and the entire Parokya ni Edgar band banging on your doors to bash your heads. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Jeane Napoles: Most Hated Pinay Party Girl, Daughter of Pork Barrel Scam Mastermind | Photos

2013-09-26T08:42:00.001-07:00

You probably hate her for her outlandish photos, partying with Hollywood stars and parading her pricey luxury possessions all over social media networks.

Who's she, you may ask? Well, she is Jeane, daughter of the controversial Janet Lim-Napoles, alleged mastermind of the Php 10 billion pork barrel scam, who is currently languishing in a posh jail in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Despite her notoriety, I dare say that she is a really pretty Pinay (see below).

Jeane Napoles has long removed her social media (Instagram and Twitter) accounts. But some folks have managed to save her photos and share them to the world. Frankly, I pity this girl. She may have not known where all her mom's wealth is coming from. If she had been forewarned, she would not have paraded her lavish and glamorous lifestyle in cyberspace.

Here is a sample of Jeane's controversial photo (below), with President Noynoy Aquino himself, which led to allegations of the Napales connection with an administration that came to power on the campaign slogan of "Kung walang korap, walang mahirap" (Without corruption, there is no poverty).

But it seems she has affinity with all politicians - from either side of the political fence! Here she is with deposed president Joseph "Erap" Estrada (who is now part of the opposition).

Below, a different angle of her pose inside a limousine. What long and shapely legs she has!

This pretty Pinay girl has walked the red carpet and has toured the party circuit with Hollywood celebrities such as Blake Lively, Justin Timberlake...

Justin Beiber and Steve Carell...

Josh Duhamel and Zachary Levi!

This brazen display of wealth, which is close to "Imeldific" (referring to former first lady Imelda, spouse of the ousted dictator President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos), is truly outrageous, especially to a Third World country where people face poverty at a daily basis.

Still, for all it's worth, the disclosure of the modus operandi of Janet Lim-Napoles and her crew has led to a people finally uniting for a thorough cleansing of goverment, as seen in the August 26 Million People March (below from Inquirer). Good things may come from a bad thing!

This writer hopes this would culminate in the prosecution and conviction of all "scammers" involved - including the big fishes in government, whether they come from the administration or opposition camps. As an unsolicited advice, I suggest that for people’s participation in the budgetary process. The taxpaying public deserves a transparent and accountable government. Scrap all pork!

Madrigal Sisters Part 2: Ehra, Your Pinay Guilty Pleasure | Photos

2013-09-05T20:35:00.001-07:00

While we have previously featured Michelle in this post, now (in part 2 of a series) we are out to prove that Ehra - the elder of the Madrigal sisters is not to be outdone in talent and physical beauty (see photo below).

Like her younger sibling, she has consistently landed in the 100 FHM Philippines Sexiest Women Poll (though her rank has continuously dropped as years passed by). This year, she landed on the 26th spot. But she ranked 17th in 2012, 12th in 2011, 10th in 2010 and 7th in 2009.

One factor for this drop is her scanty appearances in the said magazine. It has been three years since it had the voluptuous Ehra Madrigal as its cover girl. So if you are a devoted fan like me, you must go a find a copy of the following issues: November 2010, June 2008 and September 2006 (see photos below for your viewing pleasure).

First, some quick facts about Ehra… this very hot and sexy Pinay actress was born Geralyn Gaspar Madrigal on June 25, 1985 in Quezon City, Philippines.

In 2003, she debuted in television as a performer of ASAP '03 - the Sunday noontime show of ABS-CBN. A year after that, this feisty celebrity switched to the Kapuso network. Soon, she was given noticeable roles in the fantasy series Mulawin and Encantadia.

Aside from her regular shows for GMA-7 (from 2004 up until now), she is also seen in TV5 shows such as Undercover and Midnight DJ.

TV networks are all after her. Of course, it’s because of her charming face and alluring body (below photo, by the beach in two-piece swimsuit/bikini showing her nice set of... starfishes LOL!) to the delight and pleasure of Filipino male audiences throughout the years.

Yummy Pinay Jessy Mendiola | Photos

2013-07-24T17:12:00.000-07:00

Of course, you've seen her before.

She's the hot and yummy Pinay in the latest TV commercial of McDonald's McSpicy Burger (see video of said TVC below).

Don't get me wrong. I am no fan of fast-food. I believe them to be one of the primary causes of obesity, hypertension and diabetes in highly urbanized areas around the world.

Yet, I'm a sucker for yummy Pinay girls... So, I am now featuring Filipina model and actress Jessy Mendiola.

Born as Jessica Mendiola Tawile on December 3, 1992 in the United Arab Emirates, she has a Filipino mother and a half Lebanese half British father. Jessy studied at the Far Eastern University and has been active in show business since 2003. Now we know what beauty can come out of peculiar mix of bloodlines (just look at below photos)!

This year (2013), she takes on the role of "Maria Mercedes", a Philippine version of a Mexican telenovela of the same title, which starred the sultry (and equally stunning!) Thalia, which was followed by countless Filipino fans. Below, a promotional photo from the said TV show.

It appears Jessy Mendiola is now breaking away from the pack. She ranked 24th in the latest poll by FHM Philippines for the 100 Sexiest Women in the World.

We wish her good luck and more power to her career. In the meantime, let me give in to my cravings and grab a bite of that yummy cholesterol-filled burger!
