16 months old and so much fun!

2010-10-20T16:18:00.001-07:00

Dear Little Princess,

I should have been writing you little notes a while ago...I thought about doing it and then life got in the way. Better late then never!

Today you are 16 months old!! Time has really flown and you are becoming such a little girl! Your current stats are: 20lbs (with a diaper on so you're probably really almost 20lbs), you are 31 inches tall and have 10 teeth! You wear a size 2 diaper (you'll probably be in a size 3 within a month) and your shoe size is almost a 3. Cheeses of all types are your thing right now, but you have become a bit of a picky eater- the only veggies you really want are still in the form of baby food- hey, whatever works! Your bedtime is 8:00 and you sleep with a bunch of stuffed animals, but your favorite is still your doll Nancy. Bath time is your favorite and when we ask you if want to take a bath, you start taking your clothes off (we'll break the that habit by the time you are in school :) ) You can take your diaper off yourself and often do so. You still look like your dad's twin, but sometimes people say you look like me and I get so excited!! We hug you, kiss you and tell you "we love you" about a million times a day!

You have the best sense of humor and have a laugh that is contagious! Olive is still your best friend and now you've figured out that she loves treats and playing ball, which is great because you know how to give them to her and throw the ball to her! We are in two Mommy and Me classes and you've made lots of friends and learned how to be the best sharer! At home you love to snuggle with me and walk around the house holding my hand, but in public you want nothing to do with me! You are so interested in everything and have amazing eye/hand coordination. Electronics are something you can't get enough of whether it be the tv remote control, computer, cell phone, I Pod- anything! When you see the picture of yourself on my phone you kiss it, so sweet! Of course you are still the most fashionable little girl ever and mommy loves playing dress up with you!

Your mom, dad and sister Olive love you SOOO much!!

Absentee Blogger...and not happy about it!

2010-10-20T16:07:00.000-07:00

We've been so bad about blogging lately and we are SO sad about it! More to come very soon!!

**this picture was taken right after we took the tv remote away from her...

I AM ONE!!

2010-08-26T10:11:00.000-07:00

I'm One! Being One means I am now a big girl! Here are some pictures from my first birthday on the beach (we celebrated early because everyone knows you get a "birthday month")! It was so much fun and so many of my friends were able to join me! My Aunt Jennifer flew in from New York and my SF best friend, Ellie and her parents came too!
My actual birthday fell on Father's Day this year, so I got to spend it with my AWESOME dad!!!

We can't believe it that almost one year has gone by! Time flies when you're having fun. Our Princess is is the fastest crawler we know, walks while holding on to things, doesn't like to get dressed or have her diaper changed (will actually try to crawl away as fast as possible during her diaper changes), will eat up to three string cheeses a day if we would let her, eats puffs like crazy(so much so, she doesn't mind if they get sand on them), loves to offer up the things she's holding (depending on what it is, she may or may not really give it to you- it's her fake out), eats finger food and really LOVES fashion!

Yum, puffs taste so good...even with a little sand!

I got away before my mom could put a cute outfit on me...

In mid pull up on her bouncer

Walking and holding on to mommy while wearing Aunt Ang's favorite pants :)

I love how cute she is when she sleeps!

A few weekends back my mom and dad took me to the Santa Ana Zoo. What a fun day...can't wait to go back!

Not sure about the elephant behind my dad- I thought it was mean they made him wear a lei on his head and walk in circles with kids on his back...poor guy

BEST DAY EVER!!

2010-06-29T20:40:00.000-07:00

I've been busy...very busy in fact. I like to play, get into and hold absolutely EVERYTHING that I can...I do it all while being super cute of course (that way nobody can get upset with me)! I have so much fun and at the end of the day I am exhausted!

XO,
PP

So funny....

My best friend thinks I am funny too...

This is the smile of a happy little girl who just unloaded the bottom shelf of the refrigerator...

2010-05-06T12:34:00.001-07:00

The other weekend we went to brunch and my Uncle Matt joined us! My dad was helping my Uncle Matt and his girlfriend Sarah move, but when they were done, they all came over to play with me! The next day my mom and dad took me to the beach for the first time...not sure how much I liked it...just need to get used to it!

XO,

PP

Our curious little princess...

2010-05-06T11:57:00.000-07:00

Ahhh...the princess is almost 10.5 months now and is growing up right before our eyes! She had her 9 month check up around 10 months (her doctor was out of the country!) and she is only in the 5th percentile for weight! The doctor said she's totally healthy! Her height is in the 50th percentile! I guess she's just a long and lean little girl!! She's as curious as ever...she's LOVES getting in to everything (all while being very fashionable, of course)!

Pulling herself up in her new pj's from Grandma Debby!

multitasking with Nancy (her favorite doll)

I heart technology...must take after her dad on that one!

I hope she still enjoys the vacuum cleaner when she is older so mommy won't have to do it anymore :)

Loves climbing the stairs! Great to do a few times before nap time!!

Picking out her outfit for the day...

Waiting for her twin/dad to come home from work!

Going through our magazine bin to see if we have any gossip magazines worth reading :)

Emptying the plastic bags (while dangerous if unattended) make for a great activity!

We had to put the bench there temporarily because she was able to pull out a cake stand and rolls of paper towels- so strong!

More Easter Weekend!

2010-04-08T18:34:00.000-07:00

We then headed over to Fashion Square to meet up with Grandma Debby, Uncle Matt and Sarah...we got to see Aunt Jeanne and Aunt Jenn for a second too!!

We went early in the morning and my mom got a massage, then we hung out at the pool and then my dad golfed...so much fun until I decided I wanted to go home at 12:30AM...I had my reasons...I really wanted to get home to my sister!

Princess Approved

2010-02-11T11:31:00.000-08:00

For as long as I can remember I have liked things that are "unique" in some way or another....things that not everyone has yet...when I come across AWESOME products or websites (that are Princess Approved of course), I feel the need to tell EVERYONE about them!

Amazing find #1: The Patemm Pad- this could seriously be one of the coolest things out there for mommies (and it was invented by a mommy)!

Here's why: when your baby is really young it's easy to change them...they don't move much and just gaze up at you the entire time- so a normal changing pad is great. Fast forward a couple of months and boy how things change! Now your child is interested in EVERYTHING and wants to roll around, grabbing whatever she can get her hands on...sometimes that means the disgusting floor you are forced to change your baby on!

With the Patemm Pad your baby can squirm all they want while laying on a very stylish pad! Not only is the pad round, it has pockets that will hold extra diapers, a wipe case and even a small change of clothes- plus, it folds up into a nice little square- easy to toss in your bag!

Check them out: www.patemm.com
**If you order today thru February 16th, you get 20% off your order by entering LOVE in the coupon code box!!

Not only does the Princess love the Patemm Pad, but her sister Olive does too!!
