So alot of us keep other pets as well as our beloved Parrot's.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We own two Cat's "Remy and Baileys", They have been with us for about 10 years now and for the record they are Brother and Sister. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Recently we have found Baileys our female puss to be losing weight quite rapidly. So Alison (My Wife) and I decided it was time for a check up at the local vetenerian just to see if anything is going on with her. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Well it turns out she is possibly suffering from Kidney Failure, which after reading up on doing some research on <a href="http://www.vetbase.co.uk/information/-chronic-renal-kidney-failure-cats.php">Kidney Failure</a> or Renal failure as it's called seems to be the most likely diagniosis. She is drinking alot and not really really passing urine like she should be.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Apparently there is several types of Kidney Failure but this is looking more to be the AKF Acute Kidney Failure rather than CKF Chronic Kidney Failure which is a slower form of the disease.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">She is due to have Bloods and Urine samples taken this Monday coming as the Blood Man had already been to the vets the day we took her so we were told to come back after weekend. Apparently the Bloods wouldn't keep over the weekend.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It's really sad to think that this is happening to our gourgous Baileys and I was wondering if anyone else had been through similar experiences. The treatment is there but it just slows down the disease rather than curing it, There is no cure for Kidney Failure.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Updates will be posted of bailey's prognosis, </div><br />If you have any experience with this disease please do let me know.
