My first ever 500 view video, woohoo

This is truly a momentous event, especially for a small creator like myself. It also comes with an EXTREMELY funny story attached to it, because if you asked me a few months ago what I EXPECTED to be my first 500 view video it is technically a newer one. This video comes from Starfield, I can't say my playthrough because I ain actually beat the game yet. I haven't even started the main campaign, one of the things I love about Starfield, and it involves a certain Bethesda staple. The ability to grab items to use as battering rams or grabber arms and knock items off the shelf so that you can move them to a private area and SWIPE them. The thing is this video is a slow burn on the views, I had one video that hopped up to like the 400 view level in a couple of days but it has stagnated. Here's the link to the video Starfield, stealing the magshear now granted I didn't use the trick of upping the difficulty before I did it, nor did I save the game a bunch of times to get the ADVANCED mag shears which are stronger.

The problem with taking a decent hiatus from creativity

I mean it's simple really, it's hard to restart it. I mean my writing hiatus was easy to understand: The world lost it's mind. Yes during Covid one would think people who write, people who game, people who create content would have it easy. But honestly in the MIDDLE of a storm you are in survival mode like everyone else. Yes I was still streaming at the time, but for me that was different. I was gonna game ANYWAY, this way if you were interested in a game I was playing, while I might not be the best at it at least you could see someone having fun discovering a new way to go. So streaming for me was less about the audience interaction and more about sharing my enjoyment with a game if you decided to show up.

Now with writing, I love yall but lets keep it a buck RARELY do people interact so I never really know which way to go. The movie reviews stopped because the theater down the street from my house closed and I didn't have the time to at least ponder what I wanted to say about the reviews on a brisk walk home like when I started them. Like to this day I have a BUNCH OF TEXTS about the various trailers I saw if I made it to the theater in time, but I didn't do anything with them.

So should I do parts, numbers or go back to mark up?

Good day readers, I don't know when I'm gonna post this or when you might read this but there is an issue afoot. Some of you may have gone through some of my older blogs and seen that a few of them had Page 1, Page 2, and maybe even a page 3 when I got long winded. Here's the Tea as the kids may say, I had to basically go back and build that script table myself, Like I would change it to HTML view, copy paste where I needed to HOPEFULLY properly add in the page numbers and BOOM, bootleg pagenation. the obvious problem with this of course is the amount of time it took to: write the blog, then edit the blog, and the DO the MARK UP for said blog before it was posted. Now as I had done this a few times apparently I knew what I was doing, and if it didn't work correctly I would QUICKLY go back and correct it. Thing is, I ain trying to spend that kind of time over here anymore. Like I get that Blogger has gotten old to Google, but seriously you can't just ad a pagebreak?

The last post published on this page knew nothing of covid, it had 3 siblings, one niece, and was chronicling a guy on a pretty decent journey to improve his health.

Then 2020 happened, the world shuts down. I say my health can wait because we can't really go outside ANY DAMN WAY. So I trade my salads for whatever damn thing I want to eat, No more smoothies just whatever I felt like eating and just going with the flow. Then the end of the year happened, and Eikichi goes down. I don't know if I've really gotten over this because, how does the youngest go first. Me the former Nihilist, the guy who can't stand sunshine, and could darken a rainbow is still here and the funshine guy is gone. I am still kicking myself because, as an older sibling my last thoughts were being annoyed with him. Because I knew it was gonna be okay, I just knew it. Not one of us, we are tougher than that. Until we weren't, and devastation is an understatement. Okay, I got two nieces including one who's dad is no longer here and I gotta be strong for. So here we go, munchkins second birthday but no dad. And oddly enough she gains an aversion to the birthday song.

My nieces are little bundles of energy and joy. One of them loves to hug you, the other one judges you with harsh eyes that belie a lovely smile(That I rarely see, unless she is stealing my drink). So as the hug Mooches birthday approaches, my sister is in a tizzy, why because she wants my nieces birthday to be a big deal. She is who she is, she has her issues but hey how can I be mad she wants her nieces birthday to be a big thing. And then she doesn't make it. I wake up to the news that she passed in the night, and now there are two. Frank the Tank and the Lankness monster, who is probably tired of me telling him to wait his turn. Like I know survivors remorse is a thing, but MAN is it a heavy weight to carry. Oh yes I have done PLENTY of fun things since the last blog I ever published, hell since the last blog I ever wrote(It's in drafts on this blog). Truth of the matter is though, The pen has fallen silent, the music has kind of stopped. The entertainers are no longer on the stage, and while it may sound dramatic it is true. While we are all "cut ups" to be sure, Eikichi was the only one to actual be a part of theater/drama club and the Auntie was the one who did all the other performance type special activities. She actually took art courses, so yeah I think it is really safe to say that "the performers are no longer on stage." I don't know where I was going with this. I mean since I had done the work to fix the tags and stuff, I didn't feel like editing the last post I created(I need to edit it and WHEW do I not know what I was talking about) so I just did I hi, I'm here. I'm not back but I am alive. Let us see where the world takes me now. Oh and you can always check out my youtube or tik toks. I'll give you two guesses what's in the name ;)

The day the Plus died...

It's April 2, 2019 so no this sad tiding is NOT an April Fool's joke. It is a day that Many digerati were probably ignoring but now have to circle back and pay their final respects. There is nothing like sending a farewell to a digital home. When you first discover them it is always an odd feeling out process, you are either too good for it, not sure about it, don't know anyone, or find out EVERYONE that is there were people you were trying to avoid any damn way.

And then, you mess around and hit your groove on said site. Google plus was that speakeasy, that juke joint that you found cool cats at who GOT IT unlike some of the other social media sites that were chock full of ads, games, and various time sinks monetized to the gills and selling access to you to the highest bidder AND at the expense of your privacy. Normally the end of a site comes when it's parent company falls off or sells Googling ain failing no time soon so, what happened?
I think the very thing that drew so many folks to G+ was ALSO the very thing that sank it: Super Privacy. While you could post publicly most of us had HIGHLY ORGANIZED circles, I could post music videos, Movie trailers, porn, a blog post, and nerd fare within the same 30 minutes and unless you were in said circles you either barely saw anything (thus judging me an uber: perv, nerd, audiofile, or self promoter) or else you saw it all and realized I was some random ball of meta. Which if you are looking to poach good ideas, take the "pulse" of society, or else just be nosey IT SUCKED. I think I personally may 4 public posts a year on my MAIN page, the page tied to this blog of course got an update every time I posted to this blog. I won't deny that I tailed off towards the end of my time on the plus the same as the sparsity of me blogging on my various sites but I did still check in pretty much every few days. I got into great conversations met some awesome people and even got into fun arguments about: Sports, Movies, Comics, Politics, Music, and a million other things.

But if we WEREN'T friends like that or connected in other places, CRICKETS. which even though I see pieces of the things introduced through Google plus all over the internet (I bet your favorite youtube podcaster uses Hangouts on Air) some how the media narrative for Google plus that it was dead. Which yes if you WEREN'T in a lot of circles it could seem that way. Or if you didn't know the name that a good friend of yours decided to use on G+ you may never find them, which might have been the plan. You could be YOU without having to worry about family and friends finding out exactly how deep the YOU rabbit hole went. You could be responding to a religious person scroll down and HEY BOOBS, and yet the religious person would be none the wiser unless they were sitting over your shoulder.

For those who don't know I am Primaldata everywhere : Sameoldprimaldata on youtube, Primaldata_2005 on twitch and mixer, Primaldata on Twitter. Not so much "Brand Recognition" more like I just feel easier to find that way. I mean I could get all mushy about this but I like many other tailed off with social media in the last few years. I don't want to blame 2016 or the toxicity that seems to have bubbled up since then. I think like a lot of folks I just needed a mild step back from some things digital. I refound twitter, I am gaming more now and there are only so many hours in a day. I will have to find a new social media home and I will get right on that, just like I will get right on to writing my next movie review(and yes I have been to the movies a few times already this year)..

The OPEN Beta for Anthem just started Feb 1st, so of course I am playing that too. as my first thoughts post just dropped I will also be getting into what changes/fixes they may have accomplished(so far setting out on expeditions ain a problem no more so that was cool) while in the INITIAL VIP demo they only wanted you to get 2 javelins to try out(you started out with the Ranger and then once you hit level 12 you got ONE unlock token for the second Javelin of your choice, I chose storm) but now in the OPEN demo/beta they are allowing you to drive all of the Javelins. So I will ATTEMPT to use all 4 and see what happens as I stomp around as a Colossus(Meat Shield no Jutsu), flit around in the Interceptor(Ninja Death Fairy), continue sending elemental pain with the Storm(Dr. Strange's Iron Man armor), and damage deal with the Ranger(basically War Machine, lots of guns decent armor, lots of BOOM).

I do like that there isn't too much handholding in Anthem yes they may show you where to fly to but once the fighting stars do you boo boo, BUT they may want to provide better quest maps, we couldn't finish the strong hold last night because either someone else had just defeated the damn big bad or else we couldn't find where it expected us to go. Either way a decent in dungeon map would fix that. Maybe in the next update. As I mentioned in my PREVIOUS post, I am not fully sold on Anthem yet, but I am intrigued. If they had Origin Premier available on Xbox it would probably be worth the hundo a year to be able to play this game on the 10th, but as far as dropping 55 or 72 on it we gone have to play it a little bit more which I plan to do today. First Thoughts: Anthem Demo

Okay, so if you have been reading EITHER of my blogs for a while you know I am a gamer, I own an Xbox one, Pay for my Xbox Live Gold yearly, and my EA Access yearly(on my Xbox, Sony does not yet allow EA Access on PS4). One of the BENEFITS of EA Access is that if there is a DEMO for a game coming on, EA will give you VIP early access to it just like you had PRE-ORDERED the game. I made use of it for Battlefield V caused me to buy the game at launch. I liked and still like it, I haven't played it as much recently as I have gone back to Forza 7 a little AND I am grinding on Black Ops 4 but I do like the game it is still fun. I use the 10 hr previews when games launch as well that EA gives with saved progression for if or when you buy the game. So if I decide "Hmm, this game is okay BUT MY BACKLOG DOH..." I don't exactly have to start from scratch.

So I saw the Anthem Demo was out, downloaded it, played an hour or so of CoD and then was like okay, lets take this Javelin for a test run

Movie Goals: 2019

Since 2018 was a pretty decent year for me movie going wise I figured lets see if I make a lists at the start of the year how it goes near the end. Of course there will have to be CATEGORIES for movies. I don't know if I will say the defnites cause I thought Equalizer 2 would have been a definite last year but I missed it. But at least for now they will be plan to see, Depends on the Trailers, and POSSIBLES. Now for some Possibles and depends on the trailer would be the same thing, but for me possible means that I either have an opinion about the project that is so so but I might warm up to it where as depends on the trailer is more like okay I have to see what they are working with because REGARDLESS of I like the actors involved TRASH IS TRASH. And in that sense I rate depends on the trailers higher than possibles because if the trailers blow me away(like the second and third venom trailers did) I might turn into a plan to see or it could turn into a meh, like Crimes of Grindlewald did. I don't know I think the inside baseball of the mystery of DumbleDore and Grindlewalds relationship didn't appeal to me since it was a mythical thing from the Harry Potter series. I will probably watch it on Amazon though and figure out if it was a miss thus look for the Sequel.

I know I haven't written a movie review in well over a year and the "lazy bloggers trailer Masterpost pt 2" is still sitting in draft but if nothing else this can be an end of the year thing in 2020. Who knows maybe the writing bug will hit me again with it's absent self. But yeah as always enough stalling lets get into the meet of it after the jump

Movie Goals: 2018 So how'd I do?

Obviously I didn't do one of these last year but I can get into how many movies I watched. I think I hit most of my "want to see in theaters" movies in 2018. I know I missed a few due to schedule, funds, sibling availability, and forgetfulness. A few movies came out under the radar and thus were missed completely. A few fell into "let me play a few more matches" hole of I was having more fun gaming and it wasn't THAT much of a must see for me. I will use this blog as the format for how I do these posts in the future INCLUDING the Movie Goals for 2019 list. Which I will try and type up by FRIDAY (yes I am marking this post as well as putting a DEADLINE on myself for 2 posts) because I think ONE of the movies I want to see for 2019 comes out this week so BOOM.

Now as far as 2018 is concerned(enough with the stalling) I went to see 15 movies last year, I hit MOST of the movies I wanted to see ESPECIALLY the big comic book movies. I still haven't finished all of the movie trailers posts I need to get back to those, but yeah will do it this way the movies I actually went to first, movies I was first high on but then kind of chilled later, and then the movies I was still high on but just missed. Well it took 7 days...

I finally hit 10k steps, I know it's just an artificial arbitrary goal still:

First it was 2 days late. I wanted to get it done by Saturday of course everything is schedule and weather permitting. And as the mid south had a lot of rain, I did a lot of driving, and I didn't realize I was only 1900 steps off on Thursday(Doh!). That's always how it works though right, you don't remember to check or your view is obscured and its like right there.

I of course follow up this "missed it by THAT much" event by also having it take me 8 days before I ATTEMPTED my first blog post. Let's be clear, I have no clue when and if I will even post this missive. Not because it is some super private, amazing or world shattering thing, nope I'll just probably forget to edit it and leave it in draft(I will notate it if I remember). Most things I do when the spirit moves me and not a second sooner. Mainly because if I force it my contrarian nature makes me procrastinate more. Now I might fight through it once I get started. But I ain starting til I get good and damn ready.

And no this isn't a "2018" recap or "plans for 2019" blog if I get around to them I do. For now it's just me noting that I did it 10k steps and how long it took. I'm at 6k currently so I might make it 2 days in a row

I swear every time I take these Hiatuses, I always come back to people leaving spam comments, I guess that means I need to head to wordpress and clean THAT out. I mean yes I get it, the blog/web admin ain been there in a while so IF you so happen to get a few hits off of someone else's site why not right? Except WHEN I come look, if I see you putting a bunch of link comments on my blog REMOVED. I am not even checking them, if you didn't ASK could you put a link in my comment I am gonna treat you as spam. I can link in my comments and some of my friends can link in my comments. Randos "thas a NO" folks be killing me with that.

Anyway, I can't say this is the strart to a new writing kick because I am mainly here killing time til the squad pops on. Things I NEED to get off my duff and learn: How better to manage my time, how to set up more commands on my various livestreams, how to better use my Discord(which due to the fact that I just HAVE a discord I don't properly USE my discord I ain dropping it here), to be more diligent about uploading game footage to my Youtube channel, and possibly to blog more. Work and a general malaise has kept me from tapping the keys but that happens, it's just how it goes sometimes.

Merry Christmas to one and all

Okay, now that we have gotten THAT out of the way "Hey Everybody". Another year is coming to a close, it's Christmas so for me it means more gray hairs, the full completion of another revolution around the sun and since Christmas Eve was a Monday 3 straight days off in a row. The birthday tradition was completed with a FEW minor hangups as usual most pizza parlors were closed, and since the movie I wanted to see started at 1:20 I missed out on some pizza lunch specials but it still was a pretty good day.

Enough with the pleasantries it's been a while and for no major reason than I just haven't been bitten by the writing bug, but it's Christmas which means new gamers, new games, and lots of craziness.

The Lazy Blogger's 2018 trailer Master Post pt.1

Yup, you see the title I still do what I always do at a movie: I buy my hot dog and EITHER the accompanying cup(I got Chewie AND Han for solo. Deadpool and Avengers were sold out DOH) or else a blue and red mixed slush. I then silence my phones, make my posts to social media, and THEN I wait trailers to roll across the screen. I type the title of each into my phone and send it to myself so that IF I so decide to blog about the movie or the TRAILERS of said movie, then boop I don't have to rack my brain. I haven't done them in a while BUT I still know what trailers went with what movie and have the lists, which of course does provide me with an interesting Opportunity, this MASTER POST.

Yup I can go through put up the trailers attached to each movie, and THEN say if said trailer was repeated at all in any of the SUBSEQUENT movies I saw later in the year. I will figure out how long to make this and exactly how detailed. I MAY include a different trailer if a later one dropped or I might attached a different trailer later on in the description with the other movies the trailer played in. Now most LIKELY movie I saw the trailer in will come up later since I have been going to the movies all year long which means movies I have seen recently were probably preview in movies I saw earlier. Nothing wrong with that, hell may actually add to fun... So without further adieu...

And yet, no reviews(semi haven't been feeling them), No trailer blogs, Nothing. I will ATTEMPT to rectify that today as tomorrow is a holiday. You can hold me to it, I just might let you down. In case you are wondering, I went to see Solo: A Star Wars Story. Yes the movie about everybody's favorite blaster packing scoundrel, with the Giant Furball co-pilot, and the Quirky ship we all want to fly. Wasn't that many trailers, but then again Unlike say MARVEL Studios they don't have another movie til most likely NEXT year.

But yeah I am going to attempt to do a trailer Mash up post and see how far I get through it. If I get done it will post sometime tomorrow most likely while I am on the grill. If I don't welp it will just be another quiet day now won't it. Writing slumps are hard to break, especially when you don't even touch the keyboard for anything besides Youtube or Googling who was in what. It has been a bad year for writing as far as my moods have been concerned, even this is typcrastining. I'm typing out this thoughts but avoiding really saying or doing anything. So yeah IF I can get through it, I will make some type of TRAILER post or 2. If not, WELP can't miss what ya wasn't looking for now can you.

Why Fighting with your Grandkids NEVER works

Dear Owners of the NFL,

You are DUMB, you are SO DUMB. You basically just walked into a wall and full speed and DON'T even realize it. But allowing your players to STAY in the Locker Room if they wish to Protest during the anthem, you have basically given them Free Reign to use social media against you. I am protesting, I can record a QUICK 2 to 3 minute video(a portion of the time set up for and performance of the anthem usually takes), add a few quick pre-thought out hashtags too, and set it for delayed posting, and then run out onto the field while the coin toss is going on. Cause lets be real, you ain gone LET me be a Game Captain so that I can run out for the coin toss now are you. It sounded good right, but this AIN the 50's, 60's, 80's, 9-'s or EARLY 00's. It's 2018, every one has 2 HI DEF cameras on their smart phones(especially Athletes you are playing 100 of thousands PLUS to), they have Social media accounts, THOUSANDS OF FOLLOWERS, and people who are ONE highlight reel play away from SEARCHING for their name AND social media accounts.

Yup that's right, you just gave them EVEN more exposure. I still follow some FORMER EAGLES on Social Media(Shady, Djax, and Jmac), as well as our CURRENT QB(injured), and will probably Follow Nelly since I talked so bad about him in 2016. I Googled them, found their names and have been following them SINCE THEY WERE ON THE TEAM. If they are a favorite player BOOM you know it is going to be retweeted. And most people have their social media accounts linked(EVEN if I PERSONALLY find it annoying as hell. Not everything is for every account, but I'm weird like that), so if you drop a video on twitter, it is probably hitting the gram, FB, Tumblr, YOUTUBE, and what ever the new hot social media site is(I'm in my 40's I ain even TRYING to keep up no more). You took away the TV cameras, WHOOP DEE TV is chasing social media. I have my phone in my hand way more than I am watching my TV. Portability is king, and if they DELAY the release of it until say 15 or 20 minutes later REAL TIME so that they are already on the field and HAVE POSSIBLY made a big play, then what? SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH yup every one who wants to know more about them, see where they came from is gonna see that video. By the time the SECOND interview of their AWESOME play comes about interviewers will be asking you about their protest video.

The Hilarity of my LAST post about football

It was in October, ah yes sweet sweet October. My Eagles were Flying as high as one might THINK they could for it to be the regular season, doom and gloom had not yet struck, and of course we never knew how awesome a "Philly Special" could be that didn't include: Fries, a Coke, fried onions, and cheese whiz or provolone. Most of you know I am a gamer, including SPORTS games, and yes including THAT Sports game, you know the salve for every hungry football fan who has yet to resign himself to "Maybe Next Year." Which as I think about my Madden Experiences, ESPECIALLY in the Carson Wentz era apparently it is prophetic. I will of course get into that after the jump, because as EVERYONE knows by now(Unless the are under a rock or in DEEEP DEEP sweet denial)

THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES WON SUPERBOWL LII.

Yes at times that STILL seems surreal to me, I waited 43 years to be able to say 3 Chips and X bowls(now ONE and hopefully counting). I mean yes technically it is 4 chips, but even though for EVERY OTHER storied franchise NFL championships(Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Cleveland, yadda, yadda) count because we hadn't won in the SUPERBOWL ERA, all the sudden a chip wasn't a chip. But since they brought up Bart Star and Vince "I can't stand those damn birds" Lombardi umpteen times during the Superbowl to describe the GREATNESS of Brady and Belicheck I GUESS we can speak on those again. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas Eve has dawned and the sun has set, your boy is another year older. More gray hairs in the beard and a few other places, there MIGHT be a stray one on my head but for the most part the mane is still dark brown, I'm sure they are coming but I have a few years left. Of course I hit the routine which will be discussed after the jump, and I came back to have Cheese Steaks, Cake, and ice cream (mint chocolate chip if ya please), if was a mildly chilly day started out gloomy and in the 40's dropped to the mid 30's later on. Another year another non white Christmas. Granted it isn't like I am a HUGE SNOW FAN, I'll play in it if it's available but I don't like the cold(But your born in December, what does that have to do with LIKING cold weather hmmmm). I'm gone need my Eagles to be a little stronger down the stretch

4 weeks in the books, my Eagles are 3-1. one tough loss, one strong victory and two "it doesn't matter if it's ugly as long as you win" games. Now to be fair this weeks win was wire to wire. We got up by 13 on the Charges and never looked back, they got close, acted like they wanted to take the lead, but never got over the hump. Which wouldn't be so bad if we weren't coasting into the fourth quarter before the floor drops out. Now I don't know if it's due to injuries on our defense(because we have lost a few players, especially in the secondary), I don't know if they are just wearing down as the game rolls on. But this is the second week in a row that we have given up double digit points in the fourth quarter.

Now I am not just going to complain, I know that versus the Chiefs and the Giants I complained about how much we ran the ball, even though last week we had 193 yards rushing which was more than we had passing. WELL this week Doug Pederson decided that you know what, the RUSH kind of worked last week. Maybe I should try it again, and he did to the tune of 214 yards on the ground. And what do you know the LEADING RUSHER wasn't Carson Wentz, it was the Bruising "Short Yardage Back" you picked up during the off season. Yup Legarette Blount had 136 yards, no TD(because of ONE HELL OF A TACKLE), and a few yards receiving. Some might said his yards are artificially inflated because of a 68 yard run, but ahem if you ain want him to chew up the field ya should have tackled him.

It's Baaaaaaaack

Football season is OFFICIALLY here. Yes I said officially a full 5 days after the Patriots got curb stomped by the Chiefs on Thursday night football. First off:

I don't care about the Patriots
That the Patriots PERFECT SEASON is already over is hilarious
That the BILLS(and the Lions) have a better record than the Patriots is priceless
If my team ain playing it ain real yet
Having the same record as the Cowboys is more of an issue to me

Look, I don't count preseason as real football because HALF of those guys(or damn near) won't even be on the team first game. Jordan Matthews, gone(which was a surprise), Jon Dorenbos GONE(but hopefully recovering from his heart surgery. He's a good dude and a Philly Favorite). Until it's kick off time first game, you see the flyover and the GIANT American flags all over your TV football ain here yet. The games mean nothing, you went Undefeated in preseason: "haha aiight, now what ain no preseason Superbowl everybody was 0-0 last night." Plus the first game is always crazy, I mean it is nice to see former Eagles have good luck in their new homes(as long as it ain against us) Two Eagles are reunited(though I don't know if Jordan and Shady played together at all). Jeremy Maclin looked like a beast for Baltimore, and Djax will be fine WHENEVER Tampa and the rest of the Florida teams can get back on the field. Real Life is more important than football. I hope everyone in Florida is safe I know Irma has wobbled back and forth power is out for millions of people football will be here.

Did you ever wish you were IN Mad max, just not out of the car

No, I am not playing. I've been playing a lot of Crossout lately, now granted part of it is because they have an ingenious "sales pitch" if you will. Stay on for 2 hours get a free crate of loot. But I am getting ahead of myself. Crossout is a game set in a post apocalyptic future where you gather together spare parts to build a death mobile, face of against OTHER human players death mobiles OR random puny but annoying AI death mobiles. Yes a lot of mobile killing machines. It is part driving game(arcade style mind you, but you do drive around). If you follow me on twitter you even saw one of my revamped monsters kill two unfortunate players who didn't realize I was not the one(at least not that time in a one v one situation).

Now there are many different facets to Crossout, it doesn't really have a story mode per se. It is all online play you are either in up to 8 on 8 matches, involved in up to 4 player co op to face the AI, there is a "free for all" mode, and Clan battles. There are groups of various NPC groups that you can choose to be a part of, which will grant you spare parts, the ability to craft various parts and weapons(each sect has it's own specialization and thus part access that they grant you) of various rarities, there is an area to "showcase your builds" which can allow other players to like or test drive your latest mad mechanic creation, and a market place to trade your rare or higher valuation parts.

The Mighty 500

This post is 8 years in the making. It has taken me 4 moves, a separation, a divorce, and 4 gaming consoles to get here. It has seen me play hours of games, watch days worth of movies and TV, buy a TV or two, damn near lose an Eye, break a tooth, and get contacts a few times. I have joined, left, and forgotten who knows how many social media sites in the last 8 years, to which INITIALLY I was going to make this post about that journey.

But then, This blog was here for that journey. I mean you can go back and see all the Essays, bad poems, reviews, opinions, rants, anecdotes, ups and downs. I was about to spend a lot of time basically repeating myself when I could just thank everyone who has come by FOR coming by. I will admit it has not always been easy to write, and no it has nothing to do with the state of my relationship. I enjoy interaction so at times when no one responds my mind wanders elsewhere, not because I have nothing to say but because while I don't mind being somebody who is on their own side in a conversation I prefer it to be a conversation not speech prep if you know what I mean.

Whoa, look what snuck up on me

For those reading (if any of you are left) this is my 499th post on THIS blog. I remember when I did my hundredth on wordpress and of course I did something silly(but it was worth it) because it allowed me to get it out of the way without too much fanfare but 500 is different, 500 is special it has taken me YEARS to get here. Mainly because I keep taking long hiatuses. Which I will try not to do to commemorate this occasion. I mean 500 should somehow someway reflect my "Journey as a Blogger " right, I mean anybody who has written off and on long enough to accumulate 500 posts in one place HAS to be different now then he was before right? I would hope so. I doubt it will get done tomorrow though, because I have a long trip ahead of me and my mind isn't going to be in it. So when I get back we will start planning the 500th post. It's hilarious it was almost a movie review(that I still owe) which would have been awkward because then I couldn't have done this warning post if I would have noticed it. Lucky I guess that I looked at my posts today.

As we all know, blogging is a rhythm thing for me. I get in a mindset, my fingers hit the keys and out pops who knows what. Hilarity, insanity, mundanity, and yes I just started rhyming out of nowhere but I was running with it like a Vogon with a form that needs stamping. It's crazy I usually make a big deal about views(which I haven't paid attention to lately. Mainly cause I miss all the awesome numbers. 50,000 is coming up soon, I think), I would make a big deal about comments but there would have to be some. Maybe because I don't really say anything TOO controversial over here, I think, folks either just say "you crazy primal" and move on or maybe I didn't leave too much room on the subject for commentary except for those few random posts. And commenters I appreciate all of you.

Movie Trailers for: The Dark Tower

It has been a rather good Summer Movie season so far, I have been to the movies at least once a month this summer which is why it is kind of sad I haven't done a single movie review this whole time. I am trying to get my life together I swear but at least while it is a few days late I am getting the Movie trailers post out for a RECENT movie for once(woohoo), I may go ahead and do spoilerrific reviews for the older movies(if I can get around to them) while taking more time with Dark Tower. I hear it was the number one movie over what was the SLOWEST weekend of the summer, probably stings. I mean, it is a Stephen King movie, but if you didn't choose to read the books it may not have the name recognition as some of the others.

Enough about the movie itself though, that (hopefully comes later) this is about the trailers of which there were 5, hmmm I actually think I left one of these off of Spidey's because I wasn't as shocked at seeing one of these trailers oh well, I will fix it this time. Without further ado

Primal's "L.A.H" Movie Trailers: Spider-man Homecoming

You had to know I was going to see this one, Spider-man is one of my ALL TIME favorite comic book and cartoon characters, I have DECADES of fandom in the webhead. So of course I went, Opening Night too(that was Eikichi's doing) and we all had a blast, Smooth didn't make it(or am I calling him MonkeyHand today since he didn't show up hmm) I know I have heard SOME people trying to call the Web Heads Marvel entry a flop it's been a month and has made over 294 million it still has some legs so 300 million is well within his grasp over 600 million world wide, it has also made more than each of the PREVIOUS Spider-man reboots(The Amazing Series) unadjusted for inflation of course, I think tickets were a dollar or two cheaper back then. So I am wondering if that was just wishful thinking, or were they trying to sell the super hero fatigue narrative and spoke too soon hmmm.

Anyway this isn't the Spider-man review this is the trailer review. Unlike the PREVIOUS Entry only one of these movies has come out(Dark Tower) and I will check it's opening weekend shortly. But enough with the stalling
